The true meaning of the cross is not always understood. Many Christians speak about the cross and preach the cross, filwaqt li jgħixu bħala għedewwa tas-salib. What is the significance of the cross according to the Bible and what does the cross mean in the lives of Christians?
Ħafna Nsara għandhom relazzjoni ma 'Ġesù u l-Missier kif tagħhom
There are many Christians that believe in Jesus Christ and repented and are born again, but don’t want to have anything to do with the moral part of the law. They don’t want to keep all kinds of rules and consider them legalistic. U l-legaliżmu huwa parti mir-reliġjon u mhux parti minn relazzjoni ma’ Ġesù Kristu.
Ma riedux jingħad x'għandek tagħmel, but they want to be free. They want to live in freedom and have a relationship with Jesus Christ and the Father their way.
F'ħafna każijiet, the relationship looks more like a LAT relationship (Living Apart Together) than a marriage. Minħabba li ħafna drabi, Christians only spend time with God when they have a need or problems in their lives.
When they’ve a need or problems, they need God to show up and supply their needs and fix their problems. Madankollu, the rest of the time, jgħixu skont ir-rieda tagħhom stess, jagħmlu dak li jridu jagħmlu.
Xorta, going back to the fact that many Christians say that the moral part of the law is not relevant anymore, how come, that they say they are redeemed from the law, sadanittant, they still live as carnal people to whom the law was intended. Dan xi jfisser?
The old carnal man keeps falling back into sin
The law of Moses was meant for the old carnal man, who lived in a sinful flesh from a fallen state and belonged to God’s chosen people by birth and the circumcision in the flesh. The sacrificial laws were meant for the old carnal man.
The sacrificial laws dealt with the (Individwali) dnubiet u inkwiżizzjonijiet tal- raġel karnali antik, but not with the sinful nature of the old carnal man.

Id-demm tal-annimali ma kienx qawwi biżżejjed biex jittratta n-natura midinba tax-xjuħ. That’s because animals are not equal to man. Il-laħam tal-annimali huwa differenti mil-laħam tal-bniedem (1 Korintin 15:39).
The blood of animals could only deal with the sinful deeds that derived from the sinful flesh.
Għalhekk, the blood of animals could only make a temporary atonement for the sins of man. Kien għalhekk li s-sagrifiċċji kellhom isiru fuq bażi regolari.
Despite the sacrifices and the blood of perfect animals, man remained the same.
The old man was still trapped in the sinful nature of the flesh and could not be delivered from it.
Kull darba, Kellhom jistqarru dnubiethom, jindmu u jagħmlu rikonċiljazzjoni għal dnubiethom. Dnubiethom ġew rimessi u maħfura permezz tas-sagrifiċċji u d-demm tal-annimali sakemm reġgħu lura għad-drawwiet qodma tagħhom u reġgħu dnub. Dan kien proċess kontinwu.
Id-demm tal-annimali ħareġ kontinwament, but the sinful nature of the flesh remained present in the generation of fallen man.
Ġesù ttratta n-natura midinba tal-bniedem li waqa'
This process continued until Jesus came and dealt with the sinful nature of fallen man that produces sin and leads to death.
Sa fejn it-tfal huma partakers tal-laħam u d-demm, Huwa wkoll innifsu bl-istess mod ħa sehem mill-istess; li permezz tal-mewt Jista' jeqirdu li kellu l-qawwa tal-mewt, F'kelma waħda, Ix-Xitan; U jeħlishom li minħabba l-biża' tal-mewt kienu ħajjithom kollha soġġetti għall-jasar (Lhud 2:14-15)
Ġesù mhux biss ħa fuqu d-dnubiet. He carried the sins and iniquities Fl Ġismu u sar is-Sostitut għall-bniedem li waqa'. Ġesù ġarr il-kastig għad-dnubiet, li hija l-mewt, U daħlu legalment Hades (Infern).
Madankollu, the death was not strong enough to keep Jesus in Hades. Wara tlett ijiem, Jesus rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit with the keys of hell and death. Jesus conquered the power of death and had taken the dominion legally back from the devil.
Jesus released the righteous prisoners of death and gave the ability to everyone to be delivered from the power of death and hell u jiġu rikonċiljati ma 'Alla. (lill-. Mattew 27:50-54; John 1:11-13; Rumani 5:10; 2 Korintin 5:18-20; Efesin 4:10; Kolossin 1:21-23).
U Ġesù ġie u kellimhom, tgħid, Is-setgħa kollha tingħatali fis-sema u fl-art. Mur għalhekk, u jgħallem lill-ġnus kollha, jgħammduhom f’isem il-Missier, u tal-Iben, u tal-Ispirtu s-Santu: Għallimhom josservaw dak kollu li ordnajtilkom jien: U, lo, Jien dejjem miegħek, even unto the end of the earth
Mattew 28:18-20
The new creation is delivered from the sinful flesh through regeneration
Only by faith in Jesus Christ and becoming born again, Persuna tista' tinfeda mil-laħam midneb. Permezz tal- magħmudija in Christ and the baptism with the Holy Spirit, the flesh of the old man dies and the spirit raises from the dead and the new man receives the Holy Spirit.
The new creation has left the old behind and receives a new life in the spirit. Fl-awtorità ta 'Ġesù Kristu u bil-qawwa tal-Ispirtu s-Santu, the new man has the ability to become a son of God (kemm irġiel kif ukoll nisa) and walk as a son of God in obedience to God in righteousness.
The new man shall put away the carnal works of the old man, and do the will of the Spirit, whereby the new man shall come forth in the natural. (Aqra wkoll: Tista 'tgħix il-ħajja tal-qawmien mingħajr ma tmut?)
The Holy Spirit has the same will as Jesus and the Father and confronts and reproves a person of sin. Imbagħad huwa f’idejn il-persuna li tobdih u tneħħi d-dnubiet.
Għax il-persuna m’għadhiex tappartjeni għall-ġenerazzjoni tal-bniedem waqa’ u m’għadx għandha lix-xitan bħala missier.
The person belongs to the generation of the new man (ħolqien ġdid) that is created in Jesus Christ. The new creation is born of God and has God as Father.
The new creations are the sons of God and together they are the church; il-ġisem ta’ Ġesù Kristu.
Il- għan tal-knisja is to raise the saints in the Word of God and equip them. Biex b'hekk, they know the will of God and become equal to Jesus Christ and walk as Jesus walked in obedience to the Father’s will, preaching and bringing the Kingdom of God to the people.
Persevere in sin through ignorance and a lack of knowledge
Madankollu, the problem is that in many churches instead of sons of God, Teologi, kelliema motivazzjonali jew awto-promoturi, li għadhom il-ħolqien il-qadim u għandhom għamla ta’ godliness, huma wara l-pulptu u jgħallmu lil dawk li jemmnu.
Jgħallmuhom minn mentalità karnali u mill-għerf uman tagħhom stess, għarfien, u l-filosofiji minflok il-moħħ ta’ Kristu u l-verità tal-Kelma t’Alla.

In order to get an audience and attract people and be exalted, jippritkaw dak li n-nies iridu jisimgħu.
Through their sermons that revolve around the carnal man (laħam), they ensure that the people become depended on them and that they stand above the believers.
By preaching carnal words and vain philosophies that derive from their carnal mind, instead of preaching the truth of God’s Word that derives from the mind of Christ, they keep the believers ignorant about the truth.
Permezz tal-gideb tagħhom, iżommuhom fil-jasar, u dan huwa eżattament dak li jrid ix-xitan.
Permezz nuqqas ta’ għarfien tal-Kelma t’Alla, Christians keep living in bondage of their flesh. Jibqgħu mexjin wara l-ġisem u jipperseveraw fid-dnub u ma jistgħux jieqfu midnub.
Min-naħa waħda, huma qalulhom, li ma jkunx hemm aktar dnub. Għalhekk, they can’t walk in sin. U min-naħa l-oħra, they are told that they always remain a sinner. Therefore they will persevere in sin until the day that they’ll die. Għax biss permezz tal-mewt naturali, huma se jiġu meħlusa minn laħam midneb tagħhom.
False doctrines are preached to keep Christians in bondage
But that is a big lie that derived from the carnal mind of people, li kienu għadhom il-ħolqien il-qadim. This false doctrine is based upon human philosophies and personal experiences. If this doctrine would be true, allura Ġesù għala ġie fuq din l-art? Għaliex Ġesù kellu jsir is-Sostitut tagħna biex jittratta għal darba għal dejjem il-problema tad-dnub? U dak li ġara fil-jum ta ' Pentekoste?
The people that came up with this false doctrine were unspiritual. Ma ridux jagħtu l-ħajja karnali tagħhom stess. U għalhekk, they adjusted the gospel and truth of God to their own carnal experiences, sejbiet, xewqat, u x-xewqat.
U minħabba l-fatt, li kienu maħtura mill-knisja għax kellhom diploma jew Ph.D. and therefore obtained a certain status, the church adopted and applied this doctrine. To this day, this lie is still preached.
Christians are sidetracked
Minħabba din id-duttrina falza, many Christians are sidetracked and many souls have been lost. While they could have been saved by preaching the right sermons according to the Bible (il-Kelma) u l-Ispirtu s-Santu.
Minħabba din il-gidba, many Christians have the idea that when they jindmu u titwieled mill-ġdid (according to their theology), huma mhux biss imnaddfa minn dnubiethom qodma, but also from their sins in which they persevere after they become born again. Because they can’t be redeemed from sin, but will always stay a sinner.
If the Bible says that Jesus came to redeem man and has redeemed man through His work at the cross, but the preacher or theologian says that man always remains a sinner, Min jitkellem il-verità?
What has Jesus done at the cross according to these theologians or preachers? X’kien l-iskop tal-miġja Tiegħu u t-tifsira tas-sagrifiċċju Tiegħu?
Minħabba l-fatt, that many Christians are not truly born again and have no personal relationship with Jesus Christ; il-Kelma, imma minflok jemmnu, trust and lean on the words of preachers and theologians. They believe the words of people above the words of God.
Għax billi d-diżubbidjenza ta’ bniedem wieħed ħafna saru midinbin, hekk bl-ubbidjenza ta’ Wieħed għandhom ħafna jsiru ġusti
Rumani 5:19
Id-dnubiet minflok il-laħam imsammar fuq is-salib
Minflok sallbu ġisimhom, li fiha tibqa’ n-natura midinba u li tipproduċi d-dnub, issimmru dnubiethom mas-salib. Huma ma jittrattawx il-problema tad-dnub, li għalih Ġesù ġie fuq din l-art. Minflok, they keep living in the lies, li jinxterdu mix-xitan permezz tal-filosofiji tan-nies karnali.
Imma l-verità hi, li sakemm il-laħam tax-xjuħ ma jmutx, the person shall walk after the flesh and persevere in sin and shall keep doing the things that oppose the will of God.

Sakemm in-nies jipperseveraw fid-dnub, mhumiex mifdija mid-dnub, but are still a qaddej tad-dnub.
In some churches or at seminars there is even a wooden cross on the stage with pieces of paper, nails, and a hammer.
Il-viżitaturi jistgħu jiktbu dnubiethom jew il-problemi tagħhom fuq din il-biċċa karta u jsajruha mas-salib. Iżda dan huwa att karnali ta 'emozzjoni (laħam) u m’għandha x’taqsam xejn mal-Ispirtu.
Because when they go home, they continue their lives and fall back into the same sin. Eżatt bħall-poplu ta 'Alla fit-Testment il-Qadim.
That’s why many Christian, li jsostnu li twieldu mill-ġdid, u ma jridux ikollhom x'jaqsmu mal-liġi, live the same way as the carnal people of God for whom the law was intended, jiġifieri: ix-xjuħ karnali, who is trapped in the sinful flesh.
Minflok ma tittratta l-problema tad-dnub, jiġifieri l-kawża tad-dnub: il-laħam midneb, they try to deal with their sins out of their flesh by using all kinds of natural means and methods
Ġesù miet minħabba d-dnub tax-xjuħ
Jesus didn’t die for your sins so that you can keep walking in sins. But Jesus died because of your sins that derive from the sinful nature of the flesh of the old man.
Jesus died for the old man, il-midneb. Biex b'hekk, fiH, il-ġuvni (laħam) imut u l-bniedem il-ġdid (spirtu) jitqajjem mill-mewt.
Jesus not only dealt with the sins and iniquities of fallen man at the cross. But Jesus also dealt with the sinful nature of fallen man, li huwa preżenti fil-laħam. Huwa għalhekk li, meta persuna, li huwa ħolqien antik (midneb), jerġa’ jitwieled, m’għadux midneb.
F’Min ukoll intom ċirkonċiżi biċ-ċirkonċiżjoni magħmula mingħajr idejn, Fit-tkeċċija tal-ġisem tad-dnubiet tal-laħam miċ-ċirkonċiżjoni ta ’Kristu: Midfun miegħu fil-magħmudija, fejn ukoll intom tela 'miegħu permezz tal-fidi tal-operazzjoni ta' Alla, li qajmu mill-imwiet (Kolossin 2:11-12)
The person has become a new creation: il-ġustizzja ta’ Alla fi Kristu. Persuna, li sar ħolqien ġdid, m'għandux jibqa' jipperseveraw fid-dnub. Għax dawk, li huma ta’ Kristu sallbu ġisimhom bl-affezzjonijiet u x-xewqat tagħhom. Għalhekk, m’għandhomx jipperseveraw fid-dnub imma għandhom jagħmlu l-opri tal-ġustizzja.
Dak li l-liġi u d-demm tal-annimali ma setgħux jagħmlu, Ġesù setaʼ! Ġesù, il-kelma ħajja, came in the flesh and became the Substitute of the disobedient, raġel xiħ ribelluż, li d-destinazzjoni finali tiegħu hija l-mewt ta’ dejjem fl-għadira tan-nar.
Dawk li huma ta’ Kristu sallbu l-laħam bl-affezzjonijiet u x-xewqat
Galatin 4:24
The true meaning and result of the cross in the lives of believers
Fuq is-salib, Ġesù ttratta n-natura midinba, li huwa preżenti fil-laħam. Biex b'hekk, kulħadd, li jemmen fih u jerġa’ jitwieled, se jiġu mifdija min-natura sinful tal-laħam, li jipproduċi d-dnub u l-mewt.
The believer shall no longer produce sin from the sinful flesh, but righteousness from the Spirit (lill-. Rumani 6-8; Galatin 5:16-26).
Trid teħles mid-dnubiet f’ħajtek? Imbagħad kull ma għandek tagħmel hu: mur għall-kawża tad-dnub. Mur fl-għerq tal-problema tad-dnub, li huwa l-laħam. Sakemm laħamek ma jmutx, l-ispirtu tiegħek ma jistax jitqajjem.
