How come the faith of many suffer shipwreck? Many Christians start right, but during their walk, something happens that causes them to change and depart from the living God and become apostate and enter the broad way of the world.
Jesus preached the truth of God and His words were spirit and life
Ny fanahy no mahavelona; Ny nofo tsy mahasoa na inona na inona: ny teny izay lazaiko aminao, Fanahy izy ireo, ary fiainana izy ireo (John 6:63)
Jesosy namaly azy ireo, ary hoy izy, Tsy Ahy ny fotopampianarako, fa ny Izay naniraka Ahy. Raha misy olona te hanao ny sitrapony, hahalala ny amin’ ny fampianarana izy, na avy amin'Andriamanitra izany, na ny momba ny tenako no lazaiko. Izay miteny ho azy dia mitady ny voninahitry ny tenany: fa izay mitady ny voninahiny izay naniraka Azy, toy izany koa, ary tsy misy tsy fahamarinana ao aminy (John 7:16-18)
Then said they unto Him, Who art Thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of Him. They understood not that He spake to them of the Father. Dia hoy Jesosy taminy, Rehefa nasandratrareo ny Zanak’olona, then shall ye know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; fa tahaka ny nampianarin'ny Raiko ahy, Miteny ireo zavatra ireo aho. Ary izay naniraka Ahy dia eto amiko: ny Ray tsy namela Ahy ho irery; fa manao izay sitrany mandrakariva aho (John 8:25-29)
Fa tsy ny tenako no nolazaiko; fa ny Ray izay naniraka ahy, Nomeny didy aho, Izay tokony holazaiko, ary izay tokony holazaiko. Ary fantatro fa ny didiny dia fiainana mandrakizay: na inona na inona lazaiko, dia tahaka ny nolazain'ny Ray tamiko, Ka miteny aho (John 12:49-50)
Tsy mino va ianao fa Izaho ao amin'ny Ray?, ary ny Ray ato amiko? ny teny izay lazaiko aminareo dia tsy lazaiko ho Ahy: fa ny Ray izay mitoetra ato amiko, Izy no manao ny asa (John 14:10)
Jesosy dia tsy niteny ny teniny manokana, but Jesus spoke the words of His Father, which were spirit and life. The words that Jesus spoke were confrontational and called the people to repentance and the removal of sin and to do the will of the Father.
Jesus had a personal relationship with His Father and spend much quiet time with Him. Everything Jesus said and did, Jesus said and did from the union with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.
Jesus didn’t adjust His words to the feelings, fihetseham-po, and the will of the people.
Jesus wasn’t influenced and intimidated by people, toe-javatra, and the natural elements of the world.
But Jesus kept walking after the Spirit in obedience to His Father in His will and kept preaching His Kingdom, ny marina, sy ny fiainana, despite all the angriness, fankahalana, fanoherana, fanenjehana, and rejection of people.
Jesus had taught His disciples in word and deed. Jesus had taught them the truth and revealed the will of God and His Kingdom.
ENY, Jesus had taught His disciples the truth in such a way, that when Jesus ascended to heaven and the Holy Spirit descended from heaven and His disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and became the new creation, they were spiritually mature to continue the work of Jesus on earth.
The disciples preached the gospel of Jesus Christ and called the people to repentance
Mbola manana zavatra maro holazaina aminareo Aho, nefa tsy zakanareo ankehitriny. Kanefa rehefa Izy, Ny Fanahin'ny fahamarinana, dia tonga, Hitarika anao ho amin’ny fahamarinana rehetra Izy: fa tsy hiteny ho Azy Izy; fa izay ho reny, izany no holazainy: ary ny zavatra ho avy dia hambarany aminareo. Izy no hanome voninahitra Ahy: fa handray avy amin’ ny Ahy Izy, ary hanambara izany aminareo. Izay rehetra ananan'ny Ray dia Ahy avokoa: noho izany hoy aho, that He shall take of Mine, ary hanambara izany aminareo (John 16:12-15)
And so His disciples went in obedience to the Word in the power of the Holy Spirit and listened to Him, who guided them into all truth, and preached the gospel of Jesus Christ and called the people to repentance and the removal of sin.
Tahaka an’i Jesosy, the disciples didn’t adjust the words of God to the feelings, fihetseham-po, and the will of people, but they kept preaching the truth of God and making disciples of Jesus Christ. And because of that many sons of God (na lahy sy vavy) were born and raised, who were not intimidated and didn’t compromise, but were able to resist the lies and temptations of the devil and endure difficult situations, fahombiazana, and the hatred, fanoherana, and persecution of people in their lives.
They were able to endure the storms in life and their faith didn’t suffer shipwreck, because their faith was founded on the Word.
They had put all their trust in Jesus Christ and were crafted in Christ and grew up in Him and were obedient to His words and lived from His words.
They were not spared by God for the lies, fakam-panahy, difficult situations, fahombiazana, fankahalana, fanoherana, ary fanenjehana ny olona. No, God allowed everything and let them go through it, because God knew that His sons (na lahy sy vavy) would be spiritually strong enough and able to go through it (Vakio koa: 'The hearers vs the doers’ SY)
And that was indeed the case, and that should still be the case. na izany aza, the practice shows something else.
Amin'ny fomba ahoana koa? Because many believers reject the words and the truth of God and consider and accept the lies of the world as the truth. Therefore instead of growing up in the truth, they grow up in the lie.
They have not put their trust in Jesus Christ and don’t live in Him; Ao amin'ny Teny, but they have put their trust in the world and rely on the words and ability of people.
Many people have the spirit of the world instead of the Holy Spirit and don’t war a good warfare, holding faith and a good conscience, but they have put it away. Noho izany antony izany, the faith of many suffer shipwreck
Nahoana no vaky sambo ny finoan’ny maro?
Izany didy izany no apetrako aminao, zanak’i Timoty, araka ny faminaniana mialoha ny aminao, mba hamelezanao ady tsara ireny; Mino ny finoana, ary feon'ny fieritreretana tsara; izay efa nesorin'ny sasany ny finoana nanamboatra sambo: Iza no hymenaeus sy alexander; izay natolotro an'i Satana, mba hianaran'izy ireo tsy hiteny ratsy (1 TIMOTY 1:18-20)
Paul wrote to Timothy about some, whose faith had made shipwreck. Two of them were Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom Paul had delivered unto satan, so that they might learn not to blaspheme.
This was the second time, that Paul wrote about someone, whom he had delivered unto satan.
Ny voalohany, was in the church at Corinth where Paul had delivered a man unto satan from a distance, because this man had a sexual relationship with his father’s wife.
The church didn’t do anything and left the man alone and allowed fornication and ensured by this behavior that the church became defiled.
Fa i Paoly, who was spiritually mature and stood in the service of God instead of the service of man, didn’t leave the man alone but intervened immediately and addressed this great sin of fornication, after the Holy Spirit had revealed this sin to him (Vakio koa: ‘Inona no dikan'ny hoe manolotra olona iray ho an'i Satana?’).
Paul did the same thing with Hymenaeus and Alexander. Notice, that Paul wrote openly about the behavior and works of people and judged it, and even called two people by their names.
Paul didn’t leave Hymenaeus and Alexander alone and didn’t allow their profane and vain babblings, who led the people astray, but Paul confronted them with their words and deeds and put them out of the office and the church and informed Timothy. Not to gossip, but to warn Timothy and to reveal the cunning method of the devil, who worked through these people and increased the ungodliness and overthrew the faith of some.
The words of Hymenaeus and Philetus were profane and vain babblings, which increased unto more ungodliness
Halalino ny hampiseho ny tenanao amin'Andriamanitra, mpiasa izay mila tsy ho menatra, Mizara tsara ny Tenin'ny fahamarinana. Fa ny hazandrano tsy misy dikany sy ny baoty: fa hitombo ho tsy simulant kokoa izy ireo. Ary ny teniny dia hihinana toy ny kankana: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, manana io tombo-kase io, The Lord knoweth them that are his. ary, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity (2 TIMOTY 2:15-19)
Paulus wrote about Hymenaeus and Philetus that their words were profane and vain babblings that increased the ungodliness. Their words ate as doth a canker and defiled the body (Ny Fiangonana) with evil and caused the body to die and to become dead to God.
They did err concerning the truth by saying that the resurrection was already past, and caused to overthrow the faith of some.
Alexander the coppersmith had greatly withstood the words of Paul and others
Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words (2 TIMOTY 4:14)
Paul wrote about Alexander the Coppersmith that he did Paul much evil and that the Lord would reward him according to his works. Paul warned Timothy and commanded Timothy to be observant and to be aware, because Alexander had greatly withstood their words. Ary mbola mitranga izany.
Betsaka ny olona, who are carnal and speak from the imagination and vanity of their carnal mind and withstand the words of God and preach villany, whereby wickedness (Toetra tsy araka an'Andriamanitra) increases and the faith of many suffer shipwreck.
Preaching villany (fahadalana, immorality)
For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the Lord, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail (Isaia 32:6)
Very slowly the Word has been replaced by the words of carnal man, who don’t speak the words of God but the words of the world.
Most preachers are not spiritual preachers anymore, who belong to God and walk after the Spirit in obedience and submission to Jesus Christ; the Living Word and speak the truth of the Word and live holy lives and bear the fruit of the Spirit, but most preachers belong to the world and are unspiritual motivational speakers, who are charismatic and eloquent and have the spirit of this world and speak from their own experience and speak their own words from their own imagination and vanity of their carnal mind and search their own glory and bear the fruit of the flesh (Vakio koa: 'The armor of darkness’ en ‘Ilay antitra’.
They are led by seducing spirits and speak words, which may seem godly, because they are mixed with scriptures from the Bible, but these scriptures have been taken out of context and their words speak against the will of God and His righteousness and holiness and don’t call to repentance and the removal of sin and living a holy life, but increase ungodliness and ensure that the old man stays alive and perseveres in sin and the people keep walking after the flesh in disobedience to God and live like the world.
And so the truth of God is no longer preached and the will of God is not made known, fa kosa, the lies of apostate people are preached that represent the will of man and please the flesh and ensure that the people keep doing the works of the flesh, so that they can also keep doing the works of the flesh (Vakio koa: 'Ny fotopampianaran'ny demonia dia mamono ny fiangonana’).
If the faith is not built upon the Word; ny Fahamarinan’Andriamanitra, but on the words and experiences of man, who speak lies in hypocrisy that increase ungodliness and sear the conscience, the faith shall not stand, but the faith shall suffer shipwreck. The faith shall not be able to withstand the lies, fakam-panahy, and storms in life, but the storms shall overpower the faith and destroy the faith.
Depart from the living God
Mitandrema, RAHALAHY, fandrao ao anatin'izany ny fon'ny tsy mino, Mandritra ny andriamanitra velona. Fa mifampiresaka isan'andro, Na dia antsoina aza izany andro izany; fandrao hisy aminareo ho mafy orina amin'ny fitaky ny ota. Fa mpanapaka an'i Kristy isika, Raha mitazona ny fiandohan'ny fahatokisanay hatramin'ny farany isika (Hebreo 3:12-14)
Ary noho izany, it’s not surprising that by preaching lies in hypocrisy, many people become apostates and the faith of many suffer shipwreck.
There is no correction and chastisement and people are not called to repentance and the removal of sin and to live holy lives. No, instead of a holy life, sin is served and promoted (Vakio koa: 'Moa ve i Jesosy no mampiroborobo ny ota?’).
But God is horrified by all of this, and has turned away from many churches and taken the lamp and extinguished their light. Since God can’t have communion with sin, because it is rebellion towards God the Father, disobedience to God the son; Ny Teny velona, ary Andriamanitra Fanahy Masina.
