Xi jfisser midfun ma Kristu fil-magħmudija u Rxoxt miegħu?

Fil-Kolossin 2:11-12 naqraw dwar iċ-ċirkonċiżjoni fi Kristu u li nkunu midfuna ma’ Kristu fil-magħmudija u rxoxt miegħu permezz tal-fidi tal-ħidma ta’ Alla. But what does buried with Christ in baptism and risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God mean according to the Bible?

The circumcision in Christ

Li fihom ukoll int ċirkonċiż biċ-ċirkonċiżjoni magħmula mingħajr idejn, Fit-tkeċċija tal-ġisem tad-dnubiet tal-laħam miċ-ċirkonċiżjoni ta ’Kristu: Midfun miegħu fil-magħmudija, fejn ukoll intom tela 'miegħu permezz tal-fidi tal-operazzjoni ta' Alla, li qajmu mill-imwiet (Kolossin 2:11-12)

The new creation is circumcised in the circumcision of Jesus Christ. This circumcision is not made with hands, a natural circumcision of the foreskin of a male. But this circumcision is a work of the Spirit and takes place by putting off the body of the sinful flesh of males and females. The circumcision in Christ; the putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, takes place by baptism, when the old man (laħam) is buried with Christ and becomes a partaker of His death and the new man (spirtu) has risen from the dead through the faith of the operation of God, who has raised Him from the dead.

The old man is buried with Christ in baptism

X’għandna ngħidu mela? Ħa nkomplu fid-dnub, li l-grazzja tkun kbira? Alla ħares. Kif għandna, li huma mejta għad-dnub, tgħix aktar hemmhekk? Tafu li le, li ħafna minna li tgħammdin f’Ġesù Kristu tgħammdu fil-mewt tiegħu? Għalhekk aħna midfuna miegħu bil-magħmudija fil-mewt: li bħalma Kristu qam mill-imwiet bil-glorja tal-Missier, anke hekk aħna wkoll għandna nimxu f'ħajja ġdida.

Għax jekk ġejna mħawla flimkien fix-xebh tal-mewt Tiegħu, inkunu wkoll fix-xebh tal-qawmien Tiegħu: Jafu dan, li l-anzjan tagħna huwa msallab miegħu, biex il-ġisem tad-dnub ikun meqrud, li minn issa 'l quddiem m'għandniex naqdu d-dnub. Għax min hu mejjet jinħeles mid-dnub (Rumani 6:1-7)

Baptism in water

Meta kont mgħammdin, you were circumcised in the circumcision of Christ and you have buried your old former life.

L-anzjan, who is carnal and sense-ruled and is dominated by the sinful nature, no longer exists.

L-anzjan, il-bniedem karnali, has died in Christ and the new man, il-bniedem spiritwali, has been risen in Christ from the dead.

Old things have passed away, l-affarijiet kollha saru ġodda!

You believed in Jesus Christ and decided to imxi wara Ġesù and entered a covenant with Him and as a sign of the covenant is the circumcision in Christ.

Just like in the Old Covenant the natural circumcision of the foreskin was a sign of the covenant between God, Abraham, U his Seed, fil-Patt il-Ġdid, the circumcision by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh through baptism, is a sign of the New Covenant in Christ.

The new man is risen with Christ from the dead

Issa jekk inkunu mejta ma Kristu, nemmnu li aħna wkoll se ngħixu miegħu: Billi nafu li Kristu qam mill-imwiet ma jmutx aktar; il-mewt m'għandiex aktar ħakma fuqu. Għax f’dan miet, Miet għad-dnub darba: imma f’dan jgħix, Jgħix għal Alla. Bl-istess mod intom ukoll intom tabilħaqq mejta għad-dnub, imma ħaj għal Alla permezz ta’ Ġesù Kristu Sidna.

Ħallix id-dnub għalhekk isaltan fil-ġisem mortali tiegħek, biex tobduha fix-xewqat tagħha. La tagħtux il-membri tagħkom bħala strumenti ta’ inġustizzja għad-dnub: imma ċedu lil Alla, bħal dawk li huma ħajjin mill-imwiet, u l-membri tiegħek bħala strumenti ta’ tjieba għal Alla. Għax id-dnub m’għandux jaħkem fuqek: għax intom m’intix taħt il-liġi, imma taħt il-grazzja.

Fih m'hemm l-ebda dnub, li joqgħod fih id-dnub le

X'inhu allura? nidinbu, għax m’aħniex taħt il-liġi, imma taħt il-grazzja? Alla ħares. Tafu li le, dak li lilu intom agħtikom infuskom qaddejja biex tobdu, qaddejja tiegħu intom li lilhom tobdu; kemm jekk tad-dnub sal-mewt, jew ta’ ubbidjenza lejn is-sewwa? (Rumani 6:8-16)

U jekk Kristu jkun fik, il-ġisem huwa mejjet minħabba d-dnub; imma l-Ispirtu hu ħajja minħabba t-tjieba (Rumani 8:10)

Għax jekk tgħix wara l-laħam, int tmut: Imma jekk tgħaddi mill-Ispirtu mortifika l-għemejjel tal-ġisem, int tgħix. Għax daqskemm huma mmexxija mill-Ispirtu ta ’Alla, Huma wlied Alla (Rumani 8:13-14)

Jesus Christ has conquered the death! If you have become a new creation in Him, you have been redeemed from the power of sin and death by the putting of the body of the sins of the flesh and you have been given power in Christ to reign over sin and death.

You shall no longer listen to the flesh and be led by the sinful nature of the flesh and fulfill the lusts and desires of the flesh, since the flesh with its sinful nature has died in Christ.

The proof that the flesh has died in Christ

If the flesh with the sinful nature has died in Christ, the flesh shall no longer produce the unrighteous works of the flesh, which are a.o. adulterju, fornication, divorzju, (sesswali) indafa, effeminacy, affezzjoni eċċessiva (Lust), konkuxxenza ħażina, covetousness, rabja, rabja, malizzja, dagħa, komunikazzjoni maħmuġa, gideb, lasciviousness, idolatrija, sħaħar, mibegħda, varjanza, emulazzjonijiet, ġlied, sedizzjonijiet, ereżiji, għira, serq, qtil, sokor, revellings (1 Korintin 6:9- 6, Galatin 5:19-21, Kolossin 3:5-10).

If you still do the works of the flesh, you are not circumcised in Christ, because the body of the sins of the flesh has not been put off and is not buried in Christ but is still alive.

Il-ħolqien antik, who belongs to the world and lives in the kingdom of darkness, does these unrighteous works. But if you are born again and you are circumcised in the iċ-ċirkonċiżjoni ta’ Kristu by the putting off the body of sins of the flesh, you shall not do those works anymore, but you shall do righteous works according to the will of God.

You shall listen to the Father and submit yourself to His Word and obey the words of God and apply them into your life, since the Word of God is the truth. You shall walk after the Spirit in the will of God and the Spirit shall reign in your life. Bħala riżultat, you shall live a holy life unto God and bear the frott tal-Ispirtu.
