There was even a moment in the life of John the Baptist that he doubted about Jesus being the Christ. That was during his time in prison, when he heard about the works of Christ.
As a result of his doubt, John sent two of his disciples to Jesus to ask Him if He was the Christ or that they had to expect someone else (馬修 11:1-6).
上帝的王國是一個屬靈的王國

The carnal man considers the commandments of God and the things of the Kingdom of God as a yoke and a heavy burden. Therefore the carnal man rejects them.

The law of God is a yoke and heavy burden for the flesh
The people who belong to the generation of the old carnal man consider the commandments of God as a yoke and heavy burden and don’t see the benefit and the necessity of keeping them. 這不足為奇, since the righteousness of God opposes the will of the flesh

As long as the old man is not born again the evil nature of the devil shall reign in the flesh. The person shall live in rebellion against God and His Word and obey the will of the flesh and its evil nature and keep doing those things, which please the flesh but oppose the will of God and are an abomination to God.
The mind of the old man is blinded

They walk in darkness and don’t see the righteousness of God and don’t understand His words and commandments.

They shall only understand the carnal knowledge and wisdom of this world and listen to it. But they shall reject the knowledge and wisdom of God.
That’s because God’s wisdom and knowledge and His will don’t correspond with the will of their flesh, but condemn the flesh and they don’t like to feel condemned and be judged.
And so many people walk in ignorance in darkness and are led by 科學 and the lies and power of the kingdom of darkness.

Born again Christians see the Kingdom of God

This manmade gospel doesn’t feed the spirit of man and doesn’t lead to salvation, 聖潔的生活, 和永生, but feeds the flesh and strengthens the flesh of the old carnal man and leads to apostasy and bondage of sin and eternal death.
