Ngaba uhlala uhlala enesono?

Is once a sinner always a sinner true? If once a sinner always a sinner is true, why did Jesus have to come to this earth and be sacrificed for humanity if we would remain sinners? If we would always remain a sinner, then why couldn’t we keep the sacrificial laws and sacrifice lambs, goats, and bulls and use their blood for the atonement of sins? Let’s look at what the Bible says about sinners and whether you always remain a sinner or not.

Is once a sinner always a sinner true?

Once a sinner always a sinner is nothing more than an excuse that many Christians use to keep walking in sin and iniquity. They use these words as an excuse to stay carnal, walk after their flesh, and fulfill the will, iinkanuko, nenkanuko yenyama.

AmaKristu, who say that they always remain a sinner are not willing to repent of their lifestyle and their sinful walk. Hayi, they enjoy their lives as a sinner and don’t want to change anything.

image fence and aticle title do you always remain a sinner

They don’t want to die to the flesh and put off the old man. But they want to obey and serve the will of their flesh instead of the Spirit.

AmaKristu, who say that they are sinners and will always remain sinners, don’t have a clue what the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, Igazi Lakhe, and His resurrection really means.(Funda kwakhona: Intsingiselo yokwenyani yomnqamlezo).

Many Christians continue to walk as sinners and live like the world. All because they don’t want to give up their flesh and don’t want to walk as righteous people after the will of God in His Truth. They love their sins and therefore they keep doing them.

They don’t want to change their lifestyle. Ngenxa yoko, basebenzisa Ukuthobeka kobuxoki, ngokuthi: Oh Kulungile, we are all just sinners”.

It sounds so pious, uthobekile, kunye nokuhlonela uThixo, but it’s one big lie of the devil!

Why did Jesus have to come and die?

Jesus had to come to the earth and die, because of Adam’s disobedience to God. Jesus came to restore (hlala) what was broken in the Garden of Eden.

In the Garden of Eden, Adam sinned and by sinning, the whole human race was affected by sin and death. Xa uAdam wonayo, he fell from his position. His spirit died and he was no longer a son of God.

Adam disobeyed God and believed and obeyed the words of the devil instead. Therefore the devil became his new father. The devil had robbed Adam, who was the son of God, from God and took him captive. (Funda kwakhona: UAdam waphulukana nonyana wakhe, njengoThixo).

Wonke umntu, who would be born of the corrupt seed of man (seed of Adam), would be his son or daughter. The devil would be the father of every human being, that would be born of the seed of fallen man.

The spirit died and the flesh (umphefumlo nomzimba), which has the evil character and nature of the devil lived and reigned in every person. Tvery person is born as a sinner (born in sin) and has the evil nature and characteristics of the devil.

No one would be righteous before God

Ngenxa yenyani, that evil is present in the seed of man, evil would be present in every human being. Ngoko ke, no one would be righteous before God.

For in Thy sight shall no man living be justified (Iindumiso 143:2)

Njengoko kubhaliwe, Akukho lungisa, Hayi, hayi enye: Akukho namnye oqondayo, Akukho namnye ofuna uThixo. Zonke ziphumile endleleni, zidibene; Akukho namnye wenza okuhle, Hayi, hayi enye (AmaRoma 3:10)

Ngako oko, Njengomntu omnye isono wangena kwihlabathi, nokufa sisono; Kwaye ngenxa yoko ukufa kudlula kubo bonke abantu, Ngenxa yoko bona bonke bonile (AmaRoma 5:12)

God’s plan of redemption for humanity

When Adam sinned and fell, Adam was separated from God. But God had already a new plan to buyisela indawo yomntu owileyo. Through God’s plan of redemption, man would have the ability to be reconciled with God and become sons of God again (oku kusebenza kuzo zombini iinkunzi nemazi).

God promised that He would put enmity between the devil, kunye nomfazi.

image grain field and bible verse genesis 3:15 ndiya kubeka ubutshaba phakathi kwakho nomfazi, between thy seed and her seed it shall bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise his heel

God would put enmity between the seed of the devil (every person that would be born; born of the seed of man), nembewu yakhe (UYESU khristu, Uzelwe nguMoya oyiNgcwele).

He promised that the Seed would bruise the head of the devil (the dominion and authority of the devil), and the devil would bruise His heel. (IGenesis 3:15. Funda kwakhona: 'Intloko kaMtyholi Etyumkileyo, ngokuba isithende sikaYesu satyunyuzwa‘)

Musa ukucinga ukuba ndiza kutshabalalisa umthetho, okanye abaprofeti: Andizukutshabalalisa, kodwa ukuzalisekisa (UMateyu 5:17)

UYesu, uNyana kaThixo, had to come to earth and become fully human to fulfill the Law, become the Substitute for fallen man, and take all the sins and iniquities of humanity upon Himself.

The Son of God had to come to be sacrificed as a sin offering kuThixo.

Jesus was born of the holy Seed of God

UYesu, uNyana kaThixo, came into the flesh and became a son of man. He was not born of the (yonakele) seed of man and affected by evil. But He was born of the holy Seed of God, UMoya oyiNgcwele.

When Jesus was born, He was holy and righteous. Jesus lived in a human body and was umntu ngokupheleleyo. Although Jesus was holy and righteous, Wayenokwazi ukona.

For we have not an High Priest (UYESU khristu, uNyana kaThixo) which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; ke, walingwa ngeendlela zonke, kwanjengathi, kanti akanasono (Hebhere 4:15)

Therefore let no man ever say or use as an excuse: Ewe, but Jesus was the Son of God”. So???

Ngaba uYesu akanakona?

Jesus could sin. Jesus had the ability to disobey His Father and sin. If that would have happened, the only holy Man on earth (except for Adam, phambi kokuba one), would have been affected by sin, become unclean, and be separated from God. Just like the devil did with Adam, who was also a son of God (ULuka 3:38)

I think no man has ever been tempted so much as Jesus. The devil tried to seduce and tempt Jesus all the time. He tempted Jesus almost daily.

The devil tried so hard to make Jesus sin, but he didn’t succeed in separating Jesus from God, Utata wakhe.

Jesus didn’t sin because He loved His Father

The devil wanted Jesus to become disobedient to His Father, just like Adam became disobedient to God, utata wakhe. Kodwa uYesu wayemthanda uYise. Ngoko ke, Jesus stayed faithful and obedient to His Father.

UYesu wahamba ngokoMoya kungekhona ngokwenyama. He could have walked after the flesh, Kodwa akazange. Jesus honored and glorified His Father by staying obedient to Him and fulfilling His will.

image cross and bible verse 2 corinthians 3-21 for he hath made him to be sin for us who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in him

Before the whipping post and the cross, UYesu wayekhona ngaphandle Isono Nonuti. He was a pure spotless Lamb, Who would be sacrificed for the whole of humanity.

Kwiposti yokutsiba, Jesus took and carried all iniquities, izifo, and diseases of man through scourges. By the stripes that Jesus sustained and the blood that was shed, we were healed.

Inene, uzithwele umvandedwa wethu, wazithwala iintsizi zethu: kanti besiba Ubethiweyo, obethwa nguThixo, nabaxhwalekileyo. Kodwa uhlatywe ngenxa yezikreqo zethu, Watyunyuzwa ngenxa yezenzo zethu ezigwenxa: ubetho lokuba sibe noxolo thina lube phezu kwakhe; and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to His own wayand the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, Wabandezeleka, kodwa wayivula umlomo wakhe: Njengemvana esiwa ekuxhelweni, nanjengegusha esisidenge phambi kwabachebi bayo, ke ayisebenzile umlomo wakhe (uIsaya 53:4-7).

Umntu oza kubazongela izono zethu emzimbeni wakhe emthini, ukuba thina, Ukufa izono, kufuneka uphile ubulungisa: Imivumbo yakhe naphilisiwe(1 UPetros 2:24).

But the work wasn’t finished at the whipping post. Jesus had to go to Calvary, to complete the great work of redemption.

Kuba ukungathobeli komntu omnye abaninzi kwenziwa kwaboni

By one act of disobedience by the first son of God; UAdam, many were made sinners. This one act of disobedience ensured that the second Son of God; UYesu, had to suffer. So that by His act of obedience, many would be made righteous.

On Calvary, Jesus was crucified; He was pierced, in His hands and feet, and took all the sins of the world upon Himself. Ewe, He carried all sins, there was not one sin, that He didn’t carry(uIsaya 54:5-7)

I-wire wire mesh fence ngeevesi zebhayibhile 5-19 Kuba njengabalingeneyo nje ngokungathobeli komntu omnye abaninzi,

The cross would be the punishment for every sinner. But Jesus became our Substitute and took our punishment upon Himself.

Jesus didn’t grumble and complain, but Jesus stayed obedient to His Father.

Even at the cross, when Jesus was separated from His Father, what must have been the most difficult moment for Jesus, He didn’t give up but stayed obedient.

Xa uYesu Efile, Yena descended to hell. Because the death and hell had taken legal possession of Him (because He had taken all the sins and iniquities of the world upon Himself). Nangona kunjalo, hell and death couldn’t keep Jesus there.

Esihogweni, Jesus conquered death and took back the keys of authority awathi uMtyholi wathabatha kuAdam. With those keys of hell and death, UYesu wavuka ekufeni.

NdinguLowo udla ubomi, waye efile; kwaye, khangela, ndidla ubomi ngonaphakade, Amen; Ndinezitshixo zelabafileyo nezokufa (ISityhilelo 1:18)

What does the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus mean ngenxa yaboni?

The crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus means for sinners salvation. It means the end of a life as a sinner (indoda endala) and the beginning of a life as a saint (Indoda entsha) and the reconciliation with God. Because Jesus took and carried the sinful nature of humanity and the punishment of sin, oko kukufa, in His flesh and became the Substitute for sinners.

Ezo, abakholwayo kuYesu Kristu, guqukani, and are born again in Him die in Him. They lay down their sinful nature, and are raised in Him in newness of life.

UYesu watyhoboza intloko yedemon, just as God promised. He legally took back the dominion and authority, which God had given to His son(s).

UYesu wayeliZibulo lendalo entsha

UYesu wayeliZibulo lendalo entsha; Oonyana bakaThixo. The new sons of God died to ‘self’ and the sinful nature (through the water baptism) and are born of the Seed of God; UMoya oyiNgcwele.

God’s UMnqophiso Omtsha came into being and a new era started. Kwaye ngomhla wePentekoste, many more sons of God were born.

image cross under water and bible verse galatians 2-20 i am crucified with christ nevertheless i live yet not i but christ lives in me

The followers of Jesus were already baptized into the baptism of repentance. They repented and laid down their lives as a sinner through the ubhaptizo lwamanzi.

The followers of Jesus had become new barrels, waiting to be filled and that’s what happened on the day of IPentekoste. They received the promise of God and were filled with the Holy Spirit (Owu. UMateyu 9:17, ULuka 24:49, IZenzo 2, AmaRoma 4:16).

It was not a temporary manifestation. Hayi, Babengoonyana bakaThixo.

Their spirits were raised from the dead, ngamandla kaMoya oyiNgcwele. Umthuthuzeli; the Holy Spirit would dwell in the new man.

The spirit of Adam died due to His disobedience. But the spirit of man was resurrected on the day of Pentecost and became alive again.

God was reconciled with His sons and daughters and was able to commune with them. Just like God had initially intended when He created man.

UThixo wadala indalo entsha, Ngubani ozelwe ngamanzi nomoya. Ukususela ngaloo mzuzu ukuya phambili, many more sons of God were and are created.

Ngaba indalo entsha ingumoni?

The new creation is not a sinner anymore. Isidalwa esitsha sasingumoni, before he or she believed in Christ and were born again in Him. Because everyone is born as a sinner, no one is born righteous. Nangona kunjalo, through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and by His blood the sinners, who repent and become born again in Christ are made holy and righteous and receive the Holy Spirit and shall walk from their new nature in obedience to God.

Sinners are not made holy and righteously by their works and by keeping the Law of Moses, but by the perfect work of Jesus Christ, ngegazi laKhe.

Through faith in Christ, sinners lay down their sinful carnal lives and trade them for holy and righteous lives.

By His knowledge shall My righteous servant justify many; Uya kubuthwala ubugwenxa babo(uIsaya 53:11)

The new creation renews the mind, libeka phantsi ixhego, and puts on the new man

It’s by the grace of God that you have become a new creation; a son of God and are saved. Now that you’ve become a new creation your old life after the flesh is gone and your new life after the Spirit begins. You shall renew your mindlikhuphe ixhego and his works, kwaye yambathani umntu omtsha and his works.

Ke ngoko, ukuba ubani uthe wakuKrestu,, Usisidalwa esitsha: izinto ezindala zidlulisiwe; khangela, Zonke izinto zintsha (2 KwabaseKorinte 5:17)

The new creation spiritually matures and walks in righteousness

You have laid down your old life, Njengomoni; you’ve laid down your flesh. Therefore you will no longer walk as a sinner in sin. Your spirit has become alive by the power of the Holy Spirit However, your spirit is still a baby in Christ. So it’s time, that your spirit grows up and spiritually matures. How can your spirit grow up? Ngokondla umoya wakho ngeLizwi likaThixo.

Only by renewing your mind with the Word of God, you shall feed your spirit and get to know the Word and the will of God.

image cross and article title the cross a place to die or a place to keep sinning

When you feed your spirit with the Word and apply the Word to your life, you shall spiritually mature.

During the time that your spirit grows up, you will make errors, just like a child. But when you repent and ask for forgiveness, you shall be forgiven.

That is the love and grace of God, that even when you become a new creation, He forgives you for your error.

Kodwa….. What you shouldn’t do is deliberately sinning and keep making the same mistakes over and over again and don’t turn away from them.

Khumbula, that the grace of God is not a permit to live in sin. If you want to do the will of the flesh and keep sinning, it proves that your flesh has not died yet. (Funda kwakhona: Ngaba unokuqhubeka ukona phantsi kobabalo?).

Siza kuthini emva koko? Siza kuqhubeka esonweni, Olo lubabalo lwaluphele? Makube lee oko. Saya kuthi, abafileyo kwisono, phila nangakumbi (AmaRoma 6:1-2)

A mature spirit reigns in life

When your spirit has become mature, your spirit will reign over the will, iinkanuko, kunye neminqweno yenyama yakho. You shall walk after the Spirit in obedience to the Father, just like Jesus walked after the Spirit in obedience to His Father during His life on earth. You shall walk in holiness and righteousness.

When Jesus was born, Jesus didn’t walk immediately as Son of God. Nangona uYesu wayengunyana kaThixo, Jesus didn’t walk in His Sonship until Jesus was thirty years old. When Jesus was thirty, Jesus was baptized in water and received the Holy Spirit from the Father. After Jesus was baptized, Jesus didn’t minister to the people immediately.

Ekuqaleni, UMoya oyiNgcwele led Jesus to the wilderness, so that His flesh became totally subjected to the Spirit. Iintsuku ezingamashumi amane, Jesus fasted and didn’t feed His flesh.

Ngelixa uYesu izibongo, Jesus was constantly tempted by the devil. But Jesus didn’t give into the temptations of the devil, and the lusts and desires of His flesh. Even at the end, Jesus was tempted three more times: in His body, His soul, kunye nomoya. but Jesus stayed obedient to the will of the Father and the Spirit.

You are not a sinner anymore, but a new creation in Jesus Christ

The reason that Jesus had to come to this earth, and die for humanity was, that through Him, a new creation could be created. So that God would be reunited with His sons and daughters and could have a relationship with them.

God’s sons: Adam and the sons of God (Gen 6:2) didn’t accomplish their purpose. They were tempted by the devil, and through the lust of their eyes, they sinned. Jesus was the only Son of God, who stayed obedient and fulfilled His mission.

Jesus stayed obedient to the Father. He took all sins and iniquities of the world upon Himself and ensured that everyone, Ngubani onokukholelwa kuye, kwaye Umsebenzi wakhe wokukhulula, would be saved and would not see death. He ensured that by His blood, sinners were made holy and righteous, and wouldn’t be sinners anymore but saints.

When you have become holy and righteous by His blood, you receive the Holy Spirit from the Father. He shall be in you and because you have God’s nature you shall walk in holiness and righteousness and not in sin as sinners do.

I can bring up many more proofs, of why a sinner is no longer a sinner, after someone is made righteous in Christ. But for now, I will leave it at this. I will definitely continue with this subject in the next posts. Because it is important for Christians to understand their position in Jesus Christ.

Many Christians walk in darkness, ngenxa yeemfundiso zobuxoki

Many Christians walk in darkness and keep walking in sins and iniquities, due to false doctrines of people. Because of these iimfundiso zobuxoki, they have a wrong mindset. But Jesus wants you to rise in Him, and live according to His commandments and His will

Jesus wants you to take the inheritance that you’ve received in Him. But you cannot walk in His inheritance if you don’t know what this inheritance contains.

Does a sinner always remain a sinner according to the Bible?

Ngoku, coming back to the question of whether a sinner always remains a sinner, the answer is of course “NO”.  When a sinner repents and is born again in Christ, the sinner is justified in Jesus Christ by His word and His blood and reconciled with God and made righteous.

There are many Scriptures in the Bible that confirm that as soon as sinners repent and come to Christ, they become righteous and holy in Jesus Christ. But I would like to end this article, with the following Bible verse:

Kuba ukungathobeli komntu omnye abaninzi kwenziwa kwaboni, ngokunjalo kuya kuthi, nangokuva komnye lo, abaninzi benziwe amalungisa (AmaRoma 5:19)

‘Yiba yityuwa yomhlaba’

    Hi Shelly,

How are you? Please find below the answers to your questions.

I am told that everyone is a sinner no matter how loving and kind they try to live but we should believe in and love Jesus. Is this true?

Hayi, this is not true. If this would be true, then every person, would remain a sinner, and Jesus would have died in vain. Then His work; His death and resurrection would be of no effect. Jesus carried our sins and iniquities; He became sin, so that we would be made holy and righteous through Him.

The only way to escape sin, is by His blood, by believing in Jesus Christ and become born again (pls read: what does it mean to be born again? Why must a person get born again?)

So if by accepting and loving Jesus, one can escape from sin, I do not understand what is sin. It cant be to do with good and bad behaviour can it?.

Sin means disobedience to God (everything that goes against the will of God (Imithetho yakhe), and therefore is not according to the Word of God). Njengomzekelo, Adam sinned because he disobeyed God’s commandment to not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Some people say it is about good and bad in people. This does not make sense as people can be good without Jesus or religion and other people could behave bad until they are really old and then accept jesus and be forgiven by jesus believer people and God? whereas people who are always good but do not know how to accept Jesus or are sceptical about history, stories and religion, are told they wont be forgiven by Jesus believer people or God. Seems like Jesus believers are judgemental and tell bad people that they can be rewarded and good people cant be rewarded if they are not repentent of bad behaviour that they have never committed. Jesus believers go out and make well behaved people feel that there is no hope for them to live forever whereas if they had things to be sorry about, they have a chance to live forever. It is upsetting when some Jesus believers pass on messages of doom to loving kind people.

Wonke umntu ungumoni, there’s no one exclude. Being a good or bad person doesn’t matter. No person will be saved by being good, and doing good works. No person will get eternal life by doing good works. Jesus says that no one is good, Kodwa nguThixo.

The only way to reconcile men back to God, to enter the Kingdom of God, kwaye ube nobomi banaphakade, ngoYesu Kristu, ngegazi laKhe, kwaye ngokuzalelwa ngokutsha (Becoming a new creation; wazalwa ngamanzi nanguMoya oyiNgcwele). Ayikho enye indlela (indalo entsha)

Xa umntu eguquka, the blood of Jesus washes away all the iniquities and sins of the person. The person will become a new creation (by the baptism (emanzini) and baptism with the Holy Ghost), Uzelwe nguMoya kaThixo.

This new creation will have the mind of Jesus Christ, and will walk in the commandments of Jesus, and therefore in the commandments of the Father (funda kwakhona the commandments of God vs the commandments of Jesus).
Jesus didn’t sin because He fully obeyed the commandments of His Father, He walked in His will.

When we say that we love Jesus, than we will keep His Word, kwaye ugcine imiyalelo yakhe, and do what pleases Him, and not ourselves.

People who love Jesus, kwaye ugcine imiyalelo yakhe (Amazwi akhe), are not judgmental but they speak the truth; amazwi kaThixo.
Some people find these words judgmental, and experience these messages as messages of doom, but others will find life in these words and will repent to Jesus Christ (funda kwakhona: UYESU khristu; a Cornerstone or a Stone of stumbling).
UMoya oyiNgcwele, Who lives in the new creation will reprove the world of sin, nobulungisa, kwaye ngomgwebo.

There is always hope for people, and His Name is Jesus. Call unto Him, and He shall answer. He never left a person unanswered.
All you have to do is open the Bible; the Word of God and you will find the Truth.

I hope that answers your question. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
