Do you read and study the Word of God? Do you know the Word and the will of God ? And are you bold enough to speak the Word of God or do you remain silent so that you won’t offend people?
The Word of God is quick, and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword

This part in the Bible refers to entering God’s rest. Kuphela, who are born again in Jesus Christ and belong to God’s people and walk in faith after His Word, shall enter into God’s rest. NguYesu liLizwi likaThixo eliphilayo, Who was made flesh and lived among us, and was the expression of the Father. Jesus represented the Father and every word, that Jesus spoke derived from His Father, and contained life and power (Yoh 6:63).
Nangona, the words that Jesus spoke contained life and power, not every one was willing to listen and accept His words. There were many people, who rejected Him. Ngoba? Because the words of Jesus were often hard and confronting and called man to repentance, the removing of sins and a change of life. Ngoko ke, ayinguye wonke umntu, ababengabantu bakaThixo benyama, was willing to give up his own life. Many loved their own life too much to give it up. And that’s why many hearts stayed hardened, when they heard the voice of Jesus and the words He spoke. The people didn’t see, that although His words were hard and confronting, His words were the truth and contained life, and would bring forth life instead of death.
Jesus was appointed by God and stood in the service of His Father
Jesus lost many followers, Ngokushumayela ngenyaniso. UYesu wavumela wonke umntu, ukuza kuYe, waza uYesu wabanika iintswelo zabo. UYesu akazange anyanzele nabani na ukuba amlandele okanye ahlale naye, kwaye mabayeke abo, abamshiyayo bemka.
UYesu akazange alungelelanise isigidimi sakhe kubomi okanye iminqweno yabantu. Ngaphandle ko, xa amawaka abalandeli amshiyayo waza uYesu wasala nabafundi bakhe abalishumi elinambini kuphela.
Ngenxa yenyani, ukuba uYesu wabuncama ubomi bakhe nenyama yakhe wayemthanda uThixo ngaphezu kwabo bonke kunye nomntu wonke, waza wayama ngaye, endaweni yabantu, UYesu waqhubeka eshumayela isigidimi sikaYise; umyalezo wenguquko. Wayeyazi indlela uYise abathanda ngayo abantu, Yiyo loo nto wanikela ngobomi Bakhe ukuxolelanisa umntu noThixo.
UYesu wayenamandla okusindisa ubomi bakhe, ngokushumayela oko babefuna ukukuva abantu. Ewe, naxa wayesiwe entlanganisweni yamatyala, Wayenamandla okuzimela nokuzikhusela, kwaye uhambe ngendlela elula, nokungabethwa nokubethelelwa emnqamlezweni ngenxa yoluntu. Kodwa uYesu wahlala ethobela ukuthanda kukaYise, ndathula ndakhetha ukuhamba ngendlela enzima, oko kwaMlahlekisela ubomi baKhe.
ILizwi likaThixo lithetha ukufa kwindoda endala yasenyameni,
kodwa ubomi kumntu omtsha womoya
Amazwi kaThixo ahlala enzima kwaye ejongene nendoda endala, ohlala emva kwenyama. Nangona amazwi kaThixo equlethe ubomi namandla, bahlula umphefumlo nomoya. Amazwi kaThixo; amazwi oMoya achasene ngokupheleleyo namazwi ehlabathi; amazwi enyama kwaye yiyo loo nto wonke umntu kufuneka athathe isigqibo sokukholelwa kumazwi kaThixo kwaye aphile emva kwamazwi akhe kwaye ondle umoya womntu okanye akholelwe kumazwi ehlabathi kwaye aphile ngokwamazwi ehlabathi kwaye ondle inyama..
Amazwi ehlabathi ayakhuthaza, ethembisayo, unethemba kwaye ube namandla kumntu wenyama, kwaye nidlise inyama yomntu. Amazwi ehlabathi awasayi kukhuthaza nje okwexeshana umntu wenyama, kodwa uya kukhathalela i-ego yomntu kwaye enze umntu aphile ngendlela yabo (s)ufuna ukuphila. The words of the world pleases and strengthens the feelings and emotions of man. They don’t call to repentance, but respect, accept and tolerate the works of the old man. The words of the world are not based upon truths, but on lies of the devil, and therefore the temporary gain in the flesh, shall eventually be changed into an eternal loss.
The words of God are diametrically opposed to the words of the world and shall do the exact opposite. The words of God shall be hard and confronting for the old man, ohamba ngokwenyama. Because the words of God shall bring people to repentance, the removing of sins and demand a change of life. By living in obedience to the Word of God, the flesh shall become weaker and weaker and eventually die. The words of God shall give the Indoda entsha, what he longs for and shall cause the spirit to mature.
Christians should be valiant sons of God
Jesus was the first Son of God, Who walked on the earth, and spoke in boldness the truth of God. After His death and resurrection and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, many sons of God, who were born in Him, followed His example.
UPeter wayengowokuqala, who stood up with confidence and boldness, after he had become a son of God, ngokubhaptizwa ngoMoya oyiNgcwele. Peter spoke in boldness to the thousands of men, who were present in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost. He preached Jesus the Christ and called man to repentance. UStephan ngewayebusindise ubomi bakhe, ngokuvala umlomo wakhe, nangokuthetha amazwi, ukuba abantu babefuna ukuva, kwaye mhlawumbi wafumana imbeko nembeko ebantwini. Ngewayebusindise ubomi bakhe, ngokuzithethelela kumbingeleli omkhulu, baze bamkhanyele uYesu Kristu okwethutyana. Ukuba ke umbingeleli omkhulu uthe wamkhulula, ngewayebonakalise ukuzisola kuThixo aze acele ukuxolelwa aze abuyele kuYe, njengoko amakholwa amaninzi esenza namhlanje.
Kodwa uStephan akazange ayenze loo nto. UStefano wayenjalo uzelwe ngokutsha kwaye ezaliswe nguMoya oyiNgcwele. Ubomi bakhe obutsha baba nguYesu Kristu. UYesu wayehlala ngaphakathi kuye kwaye yiyo loo nto wayengenakuthula kwaye agcine umlomo wakhe, kodwa kwakufuneka athethe inyaniso. Kunokuba aziphendulele phambi kombingeleli omkhulu, wangqina ngoThixo uSomandla kwaye idinga likaYesu Kristu uMesiya kwaye wajongana nabaphulaphuli ngehambo nezenzo zabo zesono, babamangalela ngokuchasa kwabo uMoya oyiNgcwele, njengokuba benzayo ooyise. UStephan wangqina ngoYesu Krestu nangenxa yobungqina bakhe, wabulawa. Kwanaxa wayexulutywa ngamatye waza wabona amazulu evulekile waza wabona ubuqaqawuli bukaThixo noYesu emi ngasekunene kukaThixo, akazange athethe kuphela: “Nkosi uYesu, wamkele umoya wam”, kodwa naye wadanduluka ngelizwi elikhulu, ngaphambi nje kokuba afe: "Nkosi, uze ungasibaleli kubo esi sono.
Kwakhona uPawulos waqhubeka eshumayela yaye esisa iindaba ezilungileyo zikaYesu Kristu nenyaniso yeLizwi likaThixo, phezu kwazo nje iinkcaso neentshutshiso zabantu. UPawulos walumkisa waza wajongana nabangcwele ngendlela ababephila ngayo, kwaye wabalungisa kwaye babize ukuba baguquke nokususwa kwezono. UPawulos wayengoyiki ukuphulukana nabantu, ngokuba wayesazi, Ngaye wabizwa waza wamiselwa yaye wema enkonzweni yakhe.
Kwaye babebaninzi ngakumbi oonyana bakaThixo, owahlala ethembekile kuYesu, ngokuma eLizwini nangokushumayela iindaba ezilungileyo zikaYesu Kristu namazwi kaThixo. Abazange baphambuke eLizwini, kodwa wahlala ethetha iLizwi likaThixo, nangenxa yobungqina babo, abaninzi babulawa (Heb 11:32-40).
AmaKristu amaninzi ayalalanisa aze alungelelanise amazwi kaThixo
Ngelishwa, le ngqondo kunye nesimo sengqondo sinqongophele kubomi bamakholwa amaninzi. Amakholwa amaninzi akazaliswanga nguMoya oyiNgcwele, musa’ babe nolwazi lweLizwi, kwaye ungaphili ngeLizwi, njengoko ayesenza amakholwa amandulo. Bayakoyika ukuma ngeLizwi kwaye baneentloni zokuthetha inyaniso yeendaba ezilungileyo zikaYesu Kristu nenyaniso kaThixo ebantwini., kwaye ke ngoko benza izivumelwano nehlabathi.
Endaweni yokoyika uThixo, bayaboyika abantu. Boyika ukuba abantu ababangqongileyo banokucinga ntoni ngabo kunye noko basenokuthi bakuthethe, kwaye bayazoyika izimvo zabo. Boyika ukwaliwa kunye nokwenzakalisa kunye/okanye nokuphulukana nabantu, ngokuthetha inyaniso kaThixo. Kwaye ayisiyiyo le nto bayifunayo. Hayi, bafuna ukuthandwa nokuthandwa nokwamkelwa ngabantu ababangqongileyo. Ngenxa yokoyika ukwaliwa okanye intshutshiso bawalungisa amazwi kaThixo, kwinto abantu abafuna ukuyiva.
Bathetha kuphela ezintle, izithembiso ezilungileyo ezivela kwiLizwi, ezigxile kwi impumelelo yenyama, kodwa bazishiya kude iimfuno kwaye ke ngoko bayafihla kwaye bathi cwaka malunga neendawo ezijongeneyo kunye namazwi anzima kaThixo, abo babizela enguqukweni umntu, the removing of sins and a change of life.
Ngokuziphatha kwabo kobuntu nangokuqhubeka bethathela ingqalelo iimvakalelo neemvakalelo zabantu, bayawavala amehlo abo kuzo zonke ezo zinto, ezichasene neLizwi likaThixo kwaye Intando yakhe, kwaye ubavumele kwaye ubanyamezele. Bathe cwaka, bayeka abo bahamba ezonweni, hlala ezonweni zabo.
Kodwa le ndlela yokuziphatha iyangqina, ukuba ikholwa alibekanga phantsi ubomi balo kuYesu Kristu, kodwa usekho kwaye uyaphila. Kuba ukuba umntu kukufa, emva koko ukuziphatha kunye nezenzo zabanye azinakumchaphazela umntu kwakhona. Yiyo loo nto uYesu waqhubeka kwaye yiyo loo nto abapostile baqhubeka, ngokushumayela nangokuzisa uBukumkani bukaThixo ebantwini, ngokuba bafile enyameni, kanjalo ababanga nasimilo samntu, kwanezenzo zabo, zazinokubanqanda ekwenzeni oko babebizelwe ukuba bakwenze, and that was to preach the truth and make known the intando kaThixo ebantwini. They only had one purpose and that was to please and exalt God, by walking in righteousness in obedience to His Word and to live after His will and representing, preaching and bringing the Kingdom of God on this earth.
But many modern believers resent being told what to do. They don’t want to yield to the Word and don’t let the Word and the Holy Spirit lead them and dictate them what to do. Ngoko ke, many don’t live after the Word and are not doers of the Word anymore, but they are led by their own feelings, iimvakalelo, findings and experiences and tell others what they think and feel. But if you have laid down your own life kuYesu Kristu, it’s no longer about you and about what you think, feel or want, but it’s all about what the Word; UYesu uthi. Because only the words of Jesus, which are the truth divides spirit and soul and bring people to repentance, and cause believers to likhuphe ixhego kwaye yambathani umntu omtsha, and enter the rest of God and inherit eternal life.

The first apostles and disciples of Jesus Christ were filled with the Holy Spirit and therefore they were able to preach the truth of Jesus Christ and the words of God in boldness. Because of their boldness and preaching the truth, they not always received a warm welcome and they were not always loved by everyone.
Many Christians had to pay for their faith and love for Jesus Christ and were put to death. But they all had one thing in common, oko kukuthi, they loved God above all and stayed faithful to Jesus Christ and stood in the faith. They didn’t compromise and didn’t deviate from the Word of God, because of all the criticism and persecution of people.
