Gud vill inte att någon ska gå under. Det är därför Gud gav allt till folket för att utföra hans vilja och rädda människor från döden. dock, människor har fått en fri vilja att göra sina egna val i livet. They decide which path to go: the broad way of the world that leads to destruction or the narrow way of life that leads to eternal life. I hela Bibeln, we see the great love of God that doesn’t want anyone to perish. Det är därför Gud genom hela Bibeln kallade folket till omvändelse. Men vad fick folket till omvändelse? The revelation and conviction of sin brought people to repentance. How else can a person repent if a person doesn’t see his sinful state and consider his works evil? Let’s look at the conviction of sin in the three dispensations of the Bible and how sin was revealed in each dispensation.
Övertygelsen om synd i Guds tidsutdelning
Som nämnts i a tidigare blogginlägg, vi kan dela in Bibeln i tre tidsutdelningar: Guds Faders tidsutdelning, sonen Jesus Kristus (det Levande Ordet), och den helige Ande. dock, i alla tre dispenserna, vi ser det kontinuerliga samarbetet mellan den Allsmäktige Guden, Jesus; ordet, och den helige Ande.
I Guds första tidsutdelning, vi ser förhållandet mellan Gud och hans utvalda folk efter köttet; Israel (född av Jakobs säd).
När Gud; El-Elohim skapade människan efter sin egen avbild, människan gjordes perfekt. Tills människan bestämde sig för att gå sin egen väg och göra uppror mot Guds ord och synd.
Anden i människan dog och människan blev en levande själ, som hade kunskap om gott och ont.

De vandrade alla med Gud efter hans vilja, medan Gud ännu inte hade gett dem sin lag. Men de lyssnade till hans ord och trodde på hans ord och gick in lydnad till hans ord.
dock, vi läser också om Kain, Esau, Guds söner, the people that lived in the time of Noah’, invånarna i Sodom och Gomorra, etc. De levde alla sina egna liv efter testamentet, lustar, och begär av deras kött i olydnad mot Guds ord.
Gud gav sin lag
We read about God’s people that lived in Egypt under the oppression of Pharaoh for 400 years and how God saved them. God heard their cry and chose Moses as His representative to redeem His people out of Egypt and from the oppression of Pharaoh.
När Gud förlöste sitt folk genom sin hand och ledde dem ut i öknen, Gud uppenbarade sig genom alla tecken och under.
God wanted a relationship with His people. Han ville vara deras Gud och att de skulle vara hans folk. And so God gave them the Law that revealed His will concerning their lives.
För 400 år, de levde efter faraos vilja och enligt egyptiern kultur, uppförande, och ritualer och dyrkade idoler.
De var orenade och det var därför det var dags, att Guds folk skulle bli renat från all orättfärdighet och skjuta upp sitt gamla liv.
The only way to do that was to renew their mind with God’s will because the mind determined their actions. Genom Lag om rättfärdighet och liv, God made His will known to His people and sin was revealed.
Lagen representerade inte bara Guds vilja utan också Guds natur, rättfärdighet, och helighet.
The holy law of God brought light in the darkness and gave life to those that would submit to the Law (Guds vilja) och lyda lagen.
The law revealed the truth and exposed every sin that leads to death. För Gud ville inte att någon av hans folk skulle gå under. By keeping the law and all the precepts and ordinances that belonged to the law, Hans folk skulle välsignas, sparat, och ha liv. But every person that belonged to His people had a choice to obey the law of God or not.
People decided to obey the Law or disobey the Law
Under hela denna dispens, vi ser att Guds folk var hängivna Gud under en viss tid och sedan vände sig bort från honom. Det är naturen av den gamla mannen that walks after the flesh: devoted to God, turning away from God, crying to God for help, ånger, devoting to God, turning away from God, etc.
Every time God’s people got into trouble by leaving His law and adopting the ulture, tull, and behavior of pagan countries, de ropade till Gud och Ångrat.
Då Gud, Who is faithful and full of mercy, sent His word (through an angel or His prophet(s)) och räddade dem.
But it didn’t take long before His people rebelled again and became disobedient to the law and rejected God. Men vad avslöjade synden i hans folks liv? Guds lag avslöjade den köttsliga människans synd och avfall.

När Guds lag lästes inför folket, Guds helighet blev synlig och synden uppenbarades för dem. The law was their teacher and showed them how far they were driven away from God and His words. Då hade hans folk ett val ångra eller inte.
Utan Guds lag, som representerar rättfärdighetens och livets lag, de var inte medvetna om att deras liv var fulla av synd. Hans folk hade förkastat lagen, Guds ord, och levde precis som alla andra nationer, efter köttets lustar och begär.
They went their own way and did their own will and were led by their flesh instead of the Word of God.
They took strange women from pagan nations, de begick äktenskapsbrott, och avgudadyrkan, det var sexuell orenhet och de tillät styggelser i Herrens hus.
But as soon as the law of Moses appeared and was read, synden uppenbarades och dömdes mannen för synd. Without the law of Moses that came from God and represented His will, det fanns ingen medvetenhet om synd.

I den andra dispensen, vi ser Jesu Kristi ankomst, Guds Son, Hans inlösenarbete, och hans förhållande till Guds folk. Jesus is the Word that became flesh and lived among the people.
Jesus var smord av Gud med den helige Ande och kraft. He went about doing good, helade alla som var förtryckta av djävulen, ty Gud var med honom (Handlingar 10:38).
Jesus was the reflection of God and represented and brought the Kingdom of God, inklusive Guds lag (the law of of righteousness and life), på jorden.
Jesus lived according to the will of God and therefore He established and fulfilled the law. Guds heliga natur levde i Jesus och han konfronterade Guds folk med deras synder.
Övertygelsen om synd genom Ordet
Jesus is the Light that shone in the darkness. He brought all the things that were hidden in darkness into the light. Ljuset konfronterade människor med deras synder. The people of the house of Israel that heard His words and believed and were convicted in their hearts of their sins repented. De döptes i vatten och tog bort synderna från sina liv och följde Jesus.
But the people that were proud and rebellious in their hearts and had the devil as father were not willing to repent.
De förkastade Jesus Kristus; Ordet och förblev levande i synd. De hatade Jesus för att Jesus vittnade om deras onda gärningar.
Världen kan inte hata dig (den gamla mannen) eftersom du är en del av det), men det hatar mig (ny människa fylld av den helige Ande) ty jag fördömer det och vittnar om att dess gärningar är onda (John 7:7)
Om jag inte hade kommit och talat till dem, de hade inte haft synd: men nu har de ingen mantel för sin synd. Den som hatar mig hatar också min Fader. Om jag inte hade gjort bland dem de gärningar som ingen annan människa gjorde, de hade inte haft synd: men nu har de både sett och hatat både mig och min Fader. (John 15:22-24)
The confrontation with the living Word, Som representerar Guds rättfärdighet och helighet, uppenbarade synden hos människor. The living Word convicted the people of sin.
Övertygelsen om synd i den Helige Andes utdelning
I den tredje dispensen, vi ser födelsen av de nya skapelserna och förhållandet till den Helige Ande. What the devil destroyed in the Edens trädgård was restored by Jesus Christ and His blood. Jesus upprättade lagen och tog itu med människans syndproblem.
Genom hans död och uppståndelse från de döda och genom den Helige Andes ankomst, de Nya skapelser föddes.
Through repentance and regeneration in Christ, den gamle mannens kött dog och anden uppväcktes från de döda genom den helige Andes kraft.
Den nya mannen föddes av vatten and Spirit and was no longer a son of the devil. But the new creation had become a son of God.
The new creation was reconciled in Jesus Christ with the Father and received His Holy Spirit.
The new creations didn’t belong to the world but to the Kingdom of God.
The Holy Spirit Who bears witness of Jesus Christ; ordet, and represents the Kingdom of God, och rättfärdighetens och livets lag, lives inside the new creation. Just like God prophesied:

The new creation submits to the Father, Word, and Spirit and does the will of God
God’s will and His nature live in the heart of the new creation through the abiding of the Holy Spirit.
The old evil nature of the devil that is present in the flesh doesn’t exist anymore. The flesh is crucified in Christ. Nu, Guds heliga natur lever inuti den nya skapelsen.
När den nya skapelsen vandrar efter Anden, he shall submit himself to the Word and the Holy Spirit and the will of the Father and do the will of God. Därför ska den nya skapelsen fastställa lagen (romare 3:31).
Den Helige Andes övertygelse om synd
Jesus vittnade om den Helige Ande och sa att den Helige Ande tillrättavisar (dömda, kontusion, förmanar, avslöjar, tillrättavisningar) syndens värld, och om rättfärdighet, och av dom (John 16:8-10)
Den Helige Ande representerar Guds vilja och övertygar människans synder. Just like Jesus convicted the sins of the people and called the people to repentance and to put away sin. Och precis som Gud övertygade människans synder, genom lagen och kallade sitt folk till ånger och att lägga bort synden.
Gud, Jesus, och den Helige Ande är En. Därför, They have the same nature and the same will. De ska aldrig motsäga varandra!
Den Helige Ande är sanningens Ande och avslöjar alla djävulens lögner. Därför allt som händer i mörkret, Han kommer att föra in i ljuset.
He confronts people with their sinful state. He reveals to them their evil works from God’s point of view instead of man’s point of view.
Det är därför vi behöver den Helige Ande. He alone will convict the person of sin and shows him his defiled sinful nature.
Utan övertygelse om synd, en person kan inte omvända sig och lägga ner sitt liv och lägga bort sina synder. Det beror på att personen inte är medveten om sina synder.
Personen ser inte nödvändigheten av att lägga ner sitt kött och bli född på nytt i anden. He shall not consider the works of the flesh as evil. Therefore he shall never put off the carnal works of the flesh. The person will only do that if God reveals to him his spiritual state.
The goodness of God and conviction of sin bring man to repentance
Gud vill inte att någon ska gå under. Det är därför, på grund av hans godhet, Han gav sin lag, Hans Son, och hans helige Ande. Så att världens synder, som är gömda i mörker och är gömda för den gamle mannens naturliga ögon, kommer att avslöjas och människan har möjlighet att omvända sig, ta bort hans synder, räddas, och bli en ny skapelse i Jesus Kristus.
