To sin or not to sin is the decision you make in life. Every person is responsible for his or her own life and decides to believe God and His Word (बाइबल) and walk in the will of God or not. Just like the Father, Jesus gave a command to sin no more but it was up to the people to give heed to his command or not. Let’s look at the story of the healing of the lame man at the pool of Bethesda and the woman who committed adultery and was caught in the act.
The healing of the lame man at the pool of Bethesda
यूहन्ना मा 5:1-15, येशूले एक जना मानिसलाई निको पार्नुभयो, जसको लागि दुर्बलता थियो 38 वर्ष. यो लङ्गडा मानिस बेथेस्डाको पोखरीमा ओछ्यानमा सुतेको थियो.
When Jesus saw the lame man, He went to him and asked him if he wanted to get well. लङ्गडा मानिसले येशूलाई जवाफ दियो, that he didn’t have anyone to bring him to the water to get healed.
तब येशूले त्यस मानिसलाई उठ्न र आफ्नो ओछ्यान लिएर हिंड्न आज्ञा दिनुभयो. The man obeyed the words of Jesus and stood up and walked. लङ्गडा मानिस येशूद्वारा निको पार्नुभयो! But what did Jesus say to him about the decision to sin or not to sin?
Why did Jesus say to Sin no more?
When Jesus met the man who was healed of his infirmity in the Temple in Jerusalem, येशूले मानिसलाई अब पाप नगर्न आज्ञा दिनुभयो. Why did Jesus say to sin no more? Lest a worse thing would come unto him.
येशूले मानिसलाई उसको रोगबाट निको पार्नुभयो (उनको दुर्बलता). मानिस निको भयो र परमेश्वरको राज्य उहाँकहाँ आएको थियो.
अन्धकारको राज्यले मानिसलाई मोहित बनाएको थियो 38 वर्ष. But when Jesus came and the power of the Kingdom of heaven came upon him, मानिस आफ्नो बन्धनबाट मुक्त भयो.
पछि येशूले उसलाई मन्दिरमा भेट्टाउनुभयो, अनि उसलाई भने, हेर, तिमी निको भएको छौ: अब पाप छैन, नत्रता तिमीलाई नराम्रो कुरा नआओस्
जोन 5:14
येशूले मानिसलाई अन्धकारको आत्मिक जेलबाट मुक्त गर्नुभयो
Jesus released this lame man from this spiritual prison of darkness. Now that this man was released from this spiritual prison of darkness, Jesus commanded the healed man to no violate the spiritual laws by sinning.
अर्को शब्दमा; Jesus told the man to keep the commandments and do the भगवानको इच्छा and stay obedient to God instead of obeying and doing the will of the devil (जसले शरीरमा काम गर्छ) पाप गरेर.
Because if the man decided to reject the commandment of Jesus and disobey God and sin, he would be taken captive again by the forces of darkness and worse things would happen to him.
येशूले मानिसलाई चेतावनी दिनुभयो, because the man was carnal. He didn’t see the spiritual realm and couldn’t discern the spirits. But Jesus was spiritual and knew the spirit realm and the spiritual laws and revealed it to him through His word.
Jesus knew the Kingdom of Heaven and the kingdom of darkness. He wanted this man to stay free and not become a prisoner of the devil and darkness again.
त्यसैले, येशूले मानिसलाई अब पाप नगर्न आज्ञा दिनुभयो.
येशूले भन्नुभयो, Go and sin no more to the woman that committed adultery
यूहन्ना मा 8:1-11, we read about a woman that was caught in the act of adultery. The woman that committed adultery was brought unto Jesus. शास्त्रीहरू र फरिसीहरूले ती स्त्रीलाई व्यभिचारको आरोप लगाए र येशूलाई तिनले गरेको कुरा बताए.
They suggested to stone her according to the मोशाको व्यवस्था. But the words of these men didn’t come from a good conscience. They only wanted to tempt Jesus, so that they could accuse Him.
येशूले आफ्नो औंलाले भुइँमा लेख्नुभयो र तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “He who’s sinless among you, उसलाई ढुङ्गा हान्ने पहिलो व्यक्ति होस्“.
Jesus knew that the people that belonged to the old generation of fallen man were carnal. They were trapped in the sinful nature of the flesh.
Instead of stoning the adultrous woman, the men left one by one until there was no one left except Jesus and the adultrous woman.
त्यो क्षणमा, Jesus had the power to condemn the woman and stone her. Because Jesus walked in the authority of the Kingdom of God (नयाँ सृष्टिको रूपमा) and was sinless.
यद्यपि, Jesus said to the woman that He wouldn’t condemn her either. Since it was not Jesus’ time to judge but to save.
तर… येशू अनुमोदन गरेनन् of her work of adultery. Jesus commanded the woman to go her way and अब पाप छैन.
येशूले उनलाई भन्नुभयो, न त म तिमीलाई निन्दा गर्छु: जानुहोस्, र पाप नगर्नुहोस्

नयाँ सृष्टि संसारबाट अलग छ
When you repent and become born again in Christ and enter the Kingdom of God, you leave the kingdom of darkness and are separated from the world. You have been forgiven, रिडिम गरियो, and made whole and righteous by the blood of Jesus Christ.
You’ve become new creation and as a result of this spiritual transformation, तपाईं हुनेछ आफ्नो बूढो मान्छे छोड आफ्नो पुरानो बानी संग.
तपाईं आफ्नो पश्चात्ताप अघि हिँडेको बाटो अब तपाईं हिंड्नुहुनेछैन, because you repented from that lifestyle and its works (मासु को).
त्यो बुझ्नुपर्छ तपाईं अब पापी हुनुहुन्न. You have become a saint through regeneration in Christ.
If you don’t realize and believe this, you will always think and live as a sinner. You’ll be stuck in your sins and never be freed from your sins.
जब तिमी फेरि जन्मियौ, तपाईं एक आध्यात्मिक राज्यबाट अर्कोमा प्रवेश गर्नुभयो (कलसियनहरू 1:13-14)
In your old life, you thought like the world and walked in sin (sin = disobedience to God. It’s everything that goes against the Word of God that represents the will of God) and you were of the devil.
The nature of the devil will do his will
You had the character and nature of your father the devil. In your fallen state, तपाईं परमेश्वरको अधीनमा बस्न र उहाँको इच्छा गर्न सक्षम हुनुहुन्थ्यो. बदलामा, you lived after the will of the flesh in rebellion.
You were rebellious towards God and His Word and obedient to the words and will of the devil (इच्छा, तीब्र कामवासना, and desire of your flesh), र पापमा बाँचे. बाइबल भन्छ, यदि तपाईं पाप गर्नुहुन्छ भने, you have the devil as father and do the lust thereof (जोन 8:44).
When you decided पश्चात्ताप गर्न, तपाईंले अप्रत्यक्ष रूपमा भन्नुभयो कि तपाईं अब शैतानलाई आफ्नो बुबाको रूपमा लिन चाहनुहुन्न. तपाईंले उहाँका वचनहरू पालन गर्न र उहाँको इच्छामा हिंड्न चाहनुभएन. उहाँको अख्तियारमा रहेको आफ्नो जीवनबाट तिमी दिक्क भयौ.
जब तपाईंले सुसमाचारका शब्दहरू सुन्नुभयो र येशू ख्रीष्टलाई भेट्नुभयो, तपाईंले उहाँमा विश्वास गर्नुभयो र उहाँलाई आफ्नो मुक्तिदाता र प्रभुको रूपमा स्वीकार गर्नुभयो.
तपाईंले शैतानको सट्टा परमेश्वरलाई आफ्नो बुबाको रूपमा चाहनुहुन्छ र उहाँका वचनहरू पालन गर्नुभयो र उहाँको इच्छामा हिँड्नुभयो. तपाईंले शैतानको वचनहरू पालन गर्न र उहाँको इच्छामा हिंड्न चाहनुभएन.
परमेश्वरको प्रकृतिले उहाँको इच्छा पूरा गर्नेछ
From the moment you are born again and receive the nature of your Father God, you will long for Him and the things of His Kingdom. There must be a desire to do the will of God and to walk according to what God says.
A real father knows what is good for his child. A real father wants the best for his child. यदि कुनै पार्थिव बाबुले आफ्ना सन्तानको लागि उत्तम चाहन्छन्, कति धेरै तिम्रो स्वर्गीय पिता.
त्यसैले होला, God revealed His will to us in His Word (बाइबल).
God revealed to us not only what pleases Him and what displeases Him, but He also revealed the way of salvation, कसरी नयाँ सृष्टि हो and how to walk as the new creation in His will.
God revealed it all in the Bible which is His Word. तेसैले, उसको बाटो तिम्रो बाटो बन्छ र His thoughts becomes your thoughts.
Did the people choose to sin or not to sin?
येशूले मानिसलाई भन्नुभयो, जो आफ्नो दुर्बलता र स्त्रीबाट निको थिइन्, जो व्यभिचारमा समातिएको थियो, अब पाप नगर्न. त्यसैले, these people had the power to sin no more. They had the power to say ‘no to sin’. But did they obey the commandment of Jesus and choose to sin no more or not?
येशूले उसलाई भन्नुभयो, तिमीहरूले परमप्रभु आफ्ना परमेश्वरलाई आफ्नो सारा हृदयले प्रेम गर्नू, र आफ्नो सम्पूर्ण आत्मा संग, र आफ्नो सबै दिमाग संग. यो पहिलो र ठूलो आज्ञा हो. र दोस्रो यो जस्तै छ, तिमीले आफ्नो छिमेकीलाई आफूलाई जस्तै प्रेम गर्नुपर्छ. यी दुई आज्ञाहरूमा सबै व्यवस्था र अगमवक्ताहरू झुण्डिएका छन् (म्याथ्यू 22:37-40)

Did the adulterous woman obey the commandment of Jesus or did she let her feelings, उनको अभिलाषा, and her desire rule over the words of Jesus and give in to her feelings of lust and desire?
याद गर्नु, जब येशूले पाप नगर्न आज्ञा दिनुभयो, His crucifixion and the पवित्र आत्माको खनाइ had not taken place yet.
So these people were not born again. तिनीहरू अझै पुरानो सृष्टि थिए. However the old creation had the power to say ‘no’ पाप गर्न र पाप नगर्न.
तिमीमा पनि अब पाप नगर्ने शक्ति छ. तपाईंले पाप गर्ने कि नगर्ने निर्णय गर्नुहोस्.
मार्फत येशू ख्रीष्टको छुटकाराको काम, तिमीलाई पवित्र र धर्मी बनाइएको छ. अब तिमीलाई पवित्र र धर्मी बनाइएको छ, तिमीलाई पवित्रता र धार्मिकतामा बाँच्न पनि बोलाइएको छ (2 धर्मघरको 5:21).
अनुग्रहद्वारा बचाइयो र आत्माको कामहरू गर्दै
तपाईं काम द्वारा मुक्ति छैन, but by grace. तर अनुग्रहको अधीनमा हुनुको मतलब यो होइन कि तपाईलाई पाप गरिरहने अनुमति छ. किनभने यदि तपाईंको शरीर ख्रीष्टमा मरेको छ जब तपाईं नयाँ जन्मनुभयो, तिमीले शरीरको काम कसरी गर्न सक्छौ?
तिमीहरूले परमप्रभु आफ्ना परमेश्वरलाई आफ्नो सारा हृदयले प्रेम गर्नू, र आफ्नो सम्पूर्ण आत्मा र आफ्नो सम्पूर्ण दिमागले र आफ्नो छिमेकीलाई आफैलाई जस्तै प्रेम गर्न (म्याथ्यू 22:37-40)
When you are saved and born again, you see the nature and effect of sin, जुन मृत्युको फल हो. You will hate sin, भगवान जस्तै. तपाईंले आफ्नो पहिलेको जीवनलाई पापीको रूपमा घृणा गर्नुहुनेछ र त्यसमा फर्कनुहुनेछैन. (यो पनि पढ्नुहोस्: तपाईं अनुग्रह अन्तर्गत पाप गर्न सक्नुहुन्छ??)
जब तपाईं भगवानलाई प्रेम गर्नुहोस् आफ्नो सम्पूर्ण हृदय संग, आत्मा, मन, र शक्ति तपाईंले उहाँको इच्छा गर्न मनपर्छ.
You shall spend time with God and renew your mind with the Word of God (बाइबल) and apply His words into your life, ताकि तपाईं परमेश्वरका वचनहरू पालन गर्ने र आत्माका कामहरू गर्नुहुनेछ. तपाईं छैन, तर तपाईं चाहनुहुन्छ, किनभने तिमीहरू उहाँको प्रतिरूपमा बनाइएका छौ र तिमीहरूले परमेश्वरलाई प्रेम गर्छौ.
जब वचन र पवित्र आत्मा तपाईं भित्र वास गर्नुहुन्छ, तपाईं वचनको आज्ञापालनमा आत्माको पछि लाग्नुहुनेछ. तिमी मायामा हिड्नेछौ, श्रीमान, र तिमीहरु, पिताको इच्छा गर्न र उहाँलाई उच्च र महिमा गर्दै.
