X’tgħid il-​Bibbja dwar it-​triq tal-​ġust?

Meta temmen f’Ġesù Kristu, l-Iben ta’ Alla l-ħaj, and repent and become a new creation, by becoming born again in Christ (Imwieled mill-ilma u l-ispirtu), you will become the righteousness of God; the just. Permezz tar-riġenerazzjoni, your heart and nature will change and therefore your life will change. You no longer belong to the darkness, iżda permezz tar-riġenerazzjoni fi Kristu, you have been transferred from the darkness into the Kingdom of God and you shall walk on the way of the just. X’tgħid il-​Bibbja dwar it-​triq tal-​ġust?

The way of the just is uprightness:
int, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

Għax ir-retti jgħammru fl-art, u l-perfett jibqa’ fih.

The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

The integrity of the upright shall guide them:
but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them:
but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.

By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted:
but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.

They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord:
but such as are upright in their way are his delight.

The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood:
but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.

Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way:
but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.

The house of the wicked shall be overthrown:
but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.

Is-sagrifiċċju tal-ħżiena huwa mistkerra għall-Mulej:
imma t-talb tar-retti huwa l-ferħ tiegħu.

The highway of the upright is to depart from evil:
he that keepeth His way preserveth his soul.

A wicked man hardeneth his face:
but as for the upright, he directeth his way.

Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit:
but the upright shall have good things in possession.

The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.

Bniedem inġust huwa abomination għall-ġust:
u min hu rett fit-triq huwa mistkerra għall-ħżiena.
