መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ የእግዚአብሔር ቃል እውነት እንደሆነ ይናገራል. የጌታ ቃል መንፈስና ሕይወት ነው፤ ሁለቱም ውኃና እሳት ናቸው።. የእግዚአብሔር ቃል መብራትና ብርሃን ነው ፈጣንም ነው።, ኃይለኛ, ሁለትም አፍ ካለው ሰይፍ ሁሉ ይልቅ የተሳለ ነው።, and delivers, heals, and gives life to everyone, who believes. The whole creation is created by the Word of God and testifies of God. The words of the Lord cause sinners to repent and turn from their wicked ways. እነዚያ, who have found the Word have found the Way, እውነት እና ሕይወት. To them the words of God are precious, since they are the truth and contain the knowledge, wisdom and life of God. They listen to the words of God and believe and obey them. They that love God’s words love Jesus and the Father and keep His words and commandments in their heart and do them, so that they stay in Him. They obey His words and follow after righteousness because they love righteousness and hate sin and iniquity, just as their Lord and Father of Whom they are born. The words of the Father will be in the mouths and hearts of His sons (ይህ ለወንዶችም ለሴቶችም ይሠራል) forever.
መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ስለ እግዚአብሔር ቃል ምን ይላል??
The Bible is the Word of God, but what does the Bible say about the words of God? Below are some of the many Scriptures about the words of God.
The words of God are the truth
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of Thy righteous judgments endures for ever (መዝሙር 119:160)
Thou art near, ጌታ ሆይ; and all Thy commandments are truth (መዝሙር 119:151).
የጌታ ቃል ትክክል ነውና።; ሥራውም ሁሉ በእውነት ተፈጽሟል (መዝሙር 33:4).
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy law is the truth (መዝሙር 119:142)
Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth (ዮሐንስ 17:17-19)
The words of God are knowledge, wisdom and understanding
For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: He is a buckler to them that walk uprightly (ምሳሌ 2:6-7)
The worlds are framed by the word of God
By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth (መዝሙር 33:6)
በእምነት ዓለማት በእግዚአብሔር ቃል እንደተፈጠሩ እንረዳለን።, ስለዚህም የሚታየው ነገር ከሚታዩት አይደለም። (ዕብራውያን 11:3 (እንዲሁም አንብብ: እግዚአብሔር ሰማይንና ምድርን በስድስት ቀናት ውስጥ ፈጠረ?))
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men (2 ጴጥሮስ 3:5-7)
The words of God are spirit and life
ወንድ ልጄ, attend to My words; ወደ ቃሌ ጆሮህን አዘንብል።. ከዓይኖችህ አይራቁ; በልብህ ውስጥ አስቀምጣቸው. ለሚያገኙአቸው ሕይወት ናቸውና።, ለሥጋቸውም ሁሉ ጤና (ምሳሌ 4:20-21)
And I will walk at liberty: for I seek Thy precepts (መዝሙር 119:45)
And Jesus answered him, እያለ ነው።, ተብሎ ተጽፏል, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God (ሉቃ 4:4)
ሕይወትን የሚሰጥ መንፈስ ነው።; ሥጋ ምንም አይጠቅምም።: የምነግራችሁን ቃል, መንፈስ ናቸው።, ሕይወትም ናቸው። (ዮሐንስ 6:63)
The words of God are quick and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. የእግዚአብሔር ቃል ፈጣን ነውና።, እና ኃይለኛ, ሁለትም አፍ ካለው ሰይፍ ሁሉ ይልቅ የተሳለ ነው።, ነፍስንና መንፈስን እስከ መከፋፈል ድረስ መበሳት, እና የመገጣጠሚያዎች እና መቅኒዎች, እና የልብ ሃሳቦችን እና ሀሳቦችን የሚያውቅ ነው. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do (ዕብራውያን 4:11-13)
The words of God are righteousness
My tongue shall speak of Thy word: for all Thy commandments are righteousness (መዝሙር 119:172)
The words of God are a lamp and a light
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep Thy righteous judgments (መዝሙር 119:105-106)
The entrance of Thy words give light; it gives understanding unto the simple (መዝሙር 119:130)
The words of God are like fire
Wherefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, እነሆ, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them (ኤርምያስ 5:14 (እንዲሁም አንብብ: የእግዚአብሔር ቃል የሚያጠፋ እሳት ነው።)
Is not My word like as a fire? ይላል ጌታ; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? (ኤርምያስ 23:29)
The words of God are like water
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in Me, and I in you (ዮሐንስ 15:3)
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the Church, and gave Himself for it; That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That He might present it to Himself a glorious Church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (ኤፌሶን 5:25-27 እንዲሁም አንብብ: የቃሉን ማጠቢያ ውሃ))
The words of God are pure and keeps the way of the believer pure
The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times (መዝሙር 12:6)
As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: He is a buckler to all them that trust in Him (2 ሳሙኤል 22:31, መዝሙር 18:30)
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to Thy word (መዝሙር 119:9)
I have refrained (restrained) my feet from every evil way, that I might keep Thy word. I have not departed from Thy judgments: for Thou hast taught me. How sweet are Thy words unto my taste! አዎን, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through Thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way (መዝሙር 119:101-104)
Thy word is very pure: therefore Thy servant loves it (መዝሙር 119:140)
The words of God turn sinners from their wicked ways (if the sinner wants to)
እነዚህን ነቢያት አልላክኩም, ገና ሮጡ: አላናግራቸውም።, እነርሱ ግን ትንቢት ተናገሩ. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, ከዚያም ከመጥፎ መንገዳቸው ሊመልሷቸው በተገባ ነበር።, ከሥራቸውም ክፋት (ኤርምያስ 23:21-22)
The words of God deliver and save
ቃሉን ላከ, ፈውሳቸውም።, ከጥፋታቸውም አዳናቸው (መዝሙር 107:20 (እንዲሁም አንብብ: What does it mean God send His Word and healed them?))
Let Thy mercies come also unto me, ጌታ ሆይ, even Thy salvation, according to Thy word (መዝሙር 119:41)
Turn you at My reproof: እነሆ, I will pour out My Spirit unto you, I will make known My words unto you (ምሳሌ 1:23)
በእውነት, በእውነት, እላችኋለሁ, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, ወደ ፍርድም አይገባም; ከሞት ወደ ሕይወት ተሻገረ እንጂ (ዮሐንስ 5:24 (እንዲሁም አንብብ: የእግዚአብሔር ቃል መዳንን ያመጣል).
The words of God comfort and quicken
Remember the word unto Thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me (given me live (መዝሙር 119:49-50)
Unless Thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. I will never forget Thy precepts: for with them Thou has quickened me (given me life (መዝሙር 119:92-93)
What will happen to those, who don’t believe the words of God?
ኢየሱስም አለቀሰ, በእኔ የሚያምን, believes not on Me, የላከኝን እንጂ. የሚያየኝም የላከኝን ያያል።. እኔ ወደ ዓለም ብርሃን ሆኛለሁ።, that whosoever believes on Me should not abide in darkness. ቃሌንም የሚሰማ ማንም ቢኖር, አትመኑም።, አልፈርድበትም።: እኔ በዓለም ልፈርድ አልመጣሁምና።, ዓለምን ለማዳን እንጂ.
He that rejects Me, and receives not My words, የሚፈርድበት አለው።: እኔ የተናገርኩት ቃል, እርሱ በመጨረሻው ቀን ይፈርድበታል።.
ከራሴ አልተናገርኩምና።; የላከኝ አብ እንጂ, ትእዛዝ ሰጠኝ።, ምን ማለት እንዳለብኝ, እና ምን መናገር እንዳለብኝ. ትእዛዙም የዘላለም ሕይወት እንደ ሆነች አውቃለሁ: ስለዚህ የምናገረውን ሁሉ, አብም እንደ ነገረኝ።, ስለዚህ እናገራለሁ (ዮሐንስ 12:44-50 (እንዲሁም አንብብ: God’s Word has the final word on the Day of Judgment))
Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not Thy statutes (መዝሙር 119:155)
ይህ ክፉ ህዝብ, ቃሎቼን ለመስማት የማይፈልጉ, በልባቸው አሳብ የሚሄዱ, እና ሌሎች አማልክትን ይከተሉ, እነሱን ለማገልገል, እና እነሱን ማምለክ, እንደዚች መታጠቂያ ይሆናል።, ለምንም የማይጠቅም ነው።. መታጠቂያ በሰው ወገብ ላይ እንደሚጣበቅ, የእስራኤልንም ቤት ሁሉ የይሁዳንም ቤት ሁሉ ከእኔ ጋር አጣብቄአለሁ።, ይላል ጌታ; ለእኔ ሕዝብ ይሆኑ ዘንድ, እና ለስም, እና ለሙገሳ, እና ለክብር: እነርሱ ግን አልሰሙም። (ኤርምያስ 13:10-11 (እንዲሁም አንብብ: God’s Word brings division))
What will happen to those, who are ashamed of the words of God?
እንግዲህ በዚህ አመንዝራና ኃጢአተኛ ትውልድ መካከል በእኔና በቃሌ የሚያፍር ሁሉ; በእርሱ ደግሞ የሰው ልጅ ያፍርበታል።, when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels (ምልክት ያድርጉ 8:38, ሉቃ 9:26 (እንዲሁም አንብብ: ኢየሱስ አላፈረም።))
The sons of God listen to the words of God
Hearken to Me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the Rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged (ኢሳያስ 51:1)
Hearken unto Me, My people; and give ear unto Me, O My nation: for a law shall proceed from Me, and I will make My judgment to rest for a light of the people. My righteousness is near; My salvation is gone forth, and Mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon Me and on Mine arm shall they trust (ኢሳያስ 51:4-5)
እንግዲያስ እምነት ከመስማት ነው።, መስማትም በእግዚአብሔር ቃል ነው። (ሮማውያን 10:17)
The sons of God believe and trust in the words of God
So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproaches me: for I trust in Thy word (መዝሙር 119:42)
Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believe Thy commandments (መዝሙር 119:66)
The words of God abides in His sons
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one (1 ዮሐንስ 2:14)
If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is My Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be My disciples (ዮሐንስ 15:7-8)
The sons of God love the words of God and keep His words
I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways. I will delight myself in Thy statutes: I will not forget Thy word. Deal bountifully with Thy servant, that I may live, and keep Thy word (መዝሙር 119:16-17 (እንዲሁም አንብብ: The sons of God walk in the truth of God’s Word))
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee (መዝሙር 119:11)
I will delight myself in Thy commandments, which I have loved. My hands also will I lift up unto Thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in Thy statutes (መዝሙር 119:47-48)
Thou art my portion, ጌታ ሆይ: I have said that I would keep Thy words (መዝሙር 119:57)
Quicken me after Thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of Thy mouth (መዝሙር 119:88)
I hate vain thoughts: but Thy law do I love (መዝሙር 119:113)
ወንድ ልጄ, keep My words, and lay up My commandments with thee. Keep My commandments, እና መኖር; and My law as the apple of thine eye (ምሳሌ 7:1-2 (እንዲሁም አንብብ: God’s Word is a mirror))

The sons of God speak the words of God and shall not be ashamed
Blessed art Thou, o Lord: teach me Thy statutes. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of Thy mouth (መዝሙር 119:12-13)
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in Thy judgments. So shall I keep Thy law continually for ever and ever (መዝሙር 119:43-44)
I believed, therefore have I spoken (መዝሙር 116:10)

He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him (ዮሐንስ 3:33-34)

I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches (መዝሙር 119:14)
Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors (መዝሙር 119:24)
All the words of God shall come to pass
ለ, as come down doth the shower, And the snow from the heavens, And thither returneth not, But hath watered the earth, And hath caused it to yield, and to spring up, And hath given seed to the sower, and bread to the eater, So is My word that goeth out of My mouth, It turneth not back unto Me empty, But hath done that which I desired, And prosperously effected that [for] which I sent it (ኢሳያስ 55:10-11)
Therefore say unto them, ጌታ እግዚአብሔር እንዲህ ይላል።; There shall none of My words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, ይላል ጌታ እግዚአብሔር (ሕዝቅኤል 12:28)
The words of God stand forever
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of Thy righteous judgments endures for ever (መዝሙር 119:160)
Concerning Thy testimonies, I have known of old that Thou hast founded them forever (መዝሙር 119:151)
Forever, ጌታ ሆይ, Thy word is settled in heaven (መዝሙር 119:89)
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (ማቴዎስ 24:35 ምልክት ያድርጉ 13:31, ሉቃ 21:33 (እንዲሁም አንብብ: የእግዚአብሔር ቃል ለዘላለም ጸንቶ ይኖራል))
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: ዳግም መወለድ, ከሚበላሽ ዘር አይደለም, ነገር ግን የማይበሰብስ, በእግዚአብሔር ቃል, which liveth and abides for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away: But the word of the Lord endures for ever (1 ጴጥሮስ 1:22-25)
