UYesu wayengenazintloni ngoYise, Kungenxa yokuba uYesu wayemthanda uYise ngentliziyo yakhe yonke, umphefumlo, ingqondo, kunye namandla. Nangona uYesu wakhonza umntu, UYesu’ life stood not in the service of man and to please them, but Jesus’ life stood in the service of His Father and to please and glorify the Father. The majority of the (unqulo) leaders of the people tried their best to eliminate Jesus, by silencing Jesus and by trying to kill Him. But despite all the izilingo, ukumelana, Intshutshiso, and rejections Jesus continued with His mission and didn’t give up. Jesus didn’t allow the devil and the people to influence and intimidate Him. Jesus didn’t compromise in order to please the people and the leaders of the people nor did He try to win them for Himself. But Jesus spoke the truth of God, which was often hard to hear for the carnal people. Because His words babize ukuba baguquke and to live a holy life. Jesus wasn’t ashamed of His Father and He wasn’t ashamed of the people. Not even when He was put to shame during the interrogation, kwindawo yokubetha, kwaye emnqamlezweni. UYesu loved His Father and the people so much, that His love withstood and conquered everything.
Jesus wasn’t ashamed of God
I have glorified Thee on the earth: I have finished the work which Thou gavest Me to do. Kwaye ngoku, Owu Bawo, glorify Thou Me with Thine own self with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was. I have manifested Thy name unto the men which Thou gavest me out of the world: Thine they were, and Thou gavest them Me; and they have kept Thy word (UYohane 17:4-6)
For I have given unto them the words which Thou gavest Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from Thee, and they have believed that Thou didst send Me (UYohane 17:8)
Mna ndibanike ilizwi lakho; kwaye umhlaba ubathiyile, kuba abakho emhlabeni, Nokuba andinguye wehlabathi (UYohane 17:14)
Jesus spoke the words of God and gave His words to His disciples and to the Jewish people, who were gathered in the synagogue and the temple.
Jesus taught them daily in the Word in the temple.
Jesus revealed God the Father and His Kingdom to the people, by His doctrine and His works.
Jesus wasn’t ashamed of His Father and His words. He didn’t hide and didn’t teach the Jewish people in secret, but everything He did, He did openly.
UYesu wayesazi, that His obedience and His loyalty to the Father, would cause resistance among the people. Because although Jesus came into the world, UYesu wayengengowasehlabathini.
His Kingdom was another kingdom than the kingdom of the world. The Ruler of His Kingdom was another ruler, then the kingdom of the world. This became visible in Jesus’ life. Not only His words, but also His works testified, that the Father had sent Him and that He was the Christ, uNyana kaThixo ophilileyo.
Through His obedience to the Father and the words He spoke, which the Father had given Him, Jesus was the express image of the Father (IsiHebhere 1:3)
Ngexesha lokuhamba kwakhe emhlabeni, Jesus was never ashamed of His Father, nor was Jesus ashamed of His words.
But Jesus went out in Igama lakhe and represented His Father and His Kingdom and walked in obedience to Him and He did what His Father had commanded Him to speak and do.
Jesus knew that He would be put to shame
INkosi uYehova indivulile indlebe yam, andibanga nemvukelo, akabuya umva. Ndinike umqolo wam kwi-smoter, Kwaye izihlahla zam kubo bafumana iinwele: Andifihli ubuso bam ndineentloni kwaye nditshicela. Ngokuba uYehova uThixo uya kundinceda; Ke andiyi kuba nazintloni, andiyi kuhlazeka: therefore have I set m=My face like a flint, Kwaye ndiyazi ukuba andiyi kuba nazintloni (uIsaya 50:5-7)
Jesus knew what was ahead of Him and that He would be put to shame. But Jesus didn’t run away and didn’t hide His face, but He went through it, together with God.
UYesu wawabeka amehlo akhe kuThixo uYise kwaye Wayesazi ukuba uya kuMnceda kwaye nabagculeli, ukunyeliswa kunye neentloni, iya kuba yeyomzuzwana kuphela.
UYesu waba ze ngenxa yeentloni zabantu
Ukususela oko umntu wonayo waza umtyholi waba ngumlawuli womntu kwaye kwangena ukufa, indoda yaba ze. Ngenxa yenyani, ukuba uYesu wayefanele ukuzazisa ngokupheleleyo emntwini, NoYesu waba ze.
UYesu waba ze ngokomoya nangokwenyama, xa Wabethwayo, wathwala imivumbo emzimbeni Wakhe, ngenxa yobugwenxa bomntu, naxa wabethelelwa emnqamlezweni wathwala isono somntu emzimbeni Wakhe.
Ngalo mzuzu yomibini, bamkhulula iimpahla Zakhe waza uYesu wathwala ubugwenxa nesono somntu owileyo emzimbeni Wakhe (inyama). UYesu waba ze kwaye walithwala ihlazo loluntu emzimbeni wakhe kwaye wahlaziswa.
Although Jesus was mocked and was put to shame, Jesus wasn’t ashamed of man.
Jesus wasn’t ashamed of you, when He took your place at the whipping post and was chastised and ndigculelwe. Jesus wasn’t ashamed of you, when He took your place at the cross and was mocked and took the punishment of sin, oko kukufa, kuye. UYesu wayengenazintloni, but He did everything out of love for you.
The old man is ashamed of Jesus
Jesus was not only left by His people, but also by His own disciples. Kwakungekho mntu, who stayed with Him, not even Peter, who was led by his emotions and feelings and promised Jesus, that although the others would leave Him, he would never leave Jesus.
But Jesus knew the indoda endala and therefore Jesus said, that Peter would also leave Him and would deny Him thrice before the cock crowed twice (UMateyu 26:31-35, Phawula 14:27-31, ULuka 22:31-34)
One of them lied; Jesus or Peter. Since they both prophesied something else. Jesus prophesied by the Spirit and Peter prophesied by the flesh.
But the words of Jesus became reality when the cock crowed twice and Peter had wamkhanyela uYesu thrice out of fear for people. Jesus had spoken the truth and Peter lied.
The new man is not ashamed of Jesus
Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith; owathi, ngenxa yovuyo olwalubekwe phambi kwakhe, wawunyamezela umnqamlezo, edela ihlazo, uhleli ngasekunene kwetrone kaThixo (Hebhere 12:2)
When Peter had become a new creation and had received the power, that Jesus had promised, by the coming and dwelling of the Holy Spirit, Peter wasn’t ashamed of Jesus; His Lord and His Master.
Peter boldly arose and wasn’t ashamed anymore of the gospel of Jesus Christ, but He spoke boldly despite the mockings and all the threats, Intshutshiso, imprisonment and chastisement.
Peter had become a indalo entsha and a son of God. He didn’t belong to the world anymore, but he reproved the world of her sin and called the world to repentance, just like His Redeemer, His Lord, and His Master Jesus Christ.
Just like the eyes of Jesus were focussed upon His Father, uMbhali, Who led Him by His words during His walk on earth and wasn’t influenced and intimidated by the people, intshutshiso, mocking and the shame, but endured the cross for the joy, that was laid in front of Him, Peter also had his eyes focussed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of his faith.
Peter was just like Jesus not influenced and intimidated by the people, intshutshiso, mocking, ihlazo, kodwa took up his cross kwaye died to his flesh bamlandela uYesu, for the joy, which laid in front of him.
Although there was a moment in Peter’s life, that he was intimidated by the Jews and showed hypocritical behavior. But when Paul confronted him openly, he repented and continued to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ (kwabaseGalati 2:11-14).
And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council (Sanhedrin), rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His Name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ (IZenzo 5:40-42)
Just like Peter, the other apostles of Jesus Christ, who had become a new creation in Him represented also the Kingdom of God and boldly preached the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people.
“Kuba andinazintloni ngazo iindaba ezilungileyo zikaKristu,:
kuba ngamandla kaThixo okusindisa wonke umntu okholwayo”
Kuba andinazintloni ngazo iindaba ezilungileyo zikaKristu,: kuba ngamandla kaThixo okusindisa wonke umntu okholwayo; kumYuda kuqala, nakwisiGrike. Kuba kukho ubulungisa bukaThixo butyhilwa ekwelfeni, baye elukholweni: njengoko kubhaliweyo, Ilungisa liya kuphila ngokholo (AmaRoma 1:16)
When Paul was the old creation, Paul persecuted the Church of Jesus Christ. Until Paul met Jesus; uNyana kaThixo ophilileyo, personally and waguquka and became a new creation through regeneration.
Ukususela kuloo mzuzu, Paul didn’t persecute the Church anymore, but Paul became part of the Church; the Body of Christ and a representative of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom.
Paul was not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, because Paul knew that this gospel was the power of God unto salvation.
There is no other message, no other way and there are no other methods or technics for the salvation of man.
Kukho kuphela Indlela enye yaye oko kungoYesu Kristu, Igazi Lakhe, and by becoming born again in Him. That was the message, which Paul preached to the people, without adjusting the words of God and without being ashamed of Jesus Christ.
Jesus wasn’t ashamed to call us brethren
ngokuba yaba nguYe, for Whom are all things, yaye zingaye zonke izinto, ekuziseni oonyana abaninzi eluzukweni, ukwenza uMphathi wosindiso lwabo agqibelele ngeembandezelo. For both He that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren, Ethetha, I will declare Thy name unto My brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto Thee. Kwaye kwakhona, I will put My trust in Him. Kwaye kwakhona, Behold I and the children which God hath given Me (Hebhere 2:10-13)
Wonke umntu, who is born again in Jesus Christ has become one with Him. As the Father, uNyana noMoya oyiNgcwele babanye, the born again believer is also one with the Father, Unyana, noMoya oyiNgcwele.
Ukuba uzalwe ngokutsha, you have been baptized in the Name of the Father, Unyana, and the Holy Spirit and therefore you have identified yourself with Them and have the same identity. Because you are born of God; of His Seed.
Lowo ngulo wezayo ngamanzi negazi, noYesu Kristu; kungengamanzi odwa, kodwa ngamanzi negazi. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, ngokuba uMoya uyinyaniso. For there are three that bear record in heaven, utata, ilizwi, kunye noMoya oyiNgcwele: and these three are one. Kwaye bathathu abo bangqinayo emhlabeni, uMoya, kunye namanzi, kunye negazi: aba bathathu bavana nto-nye (1 UYohane 5:6-8)
There are three in heaven; utata, Unyana, noMoya oyiNgcwele, and there are three on the earth; uMoya, amanzi, kunye negazi. This is the new man, who has been connected with the Father and the Son by the Holy Spirit.
The new man lives in Them and They live in the new man (UYohane 17:9-11; 20-24).
Jesus isn’t ashamed to call the new man His brother. Kodwa ngelishwa, Maninzi amaKristu, who call Jesus their Friend and Brother, but are ashamed of Jesus Christ.
They stay silent about Jesus Christ in the presence of others, especially in the presence of unbelievers. And when they are asked about a specific thing or subject, of which they know that the world thinks differently than what the Word of God says, then they just adjust and change the words of God.
Instead of saying: “It is written…..” And confess the words of God and Jesus to the people, they keep their mouths shut or give them their own opinion about the matter, which is created by their flesh (Iimvakalelo zabo, iimvakalelo, carnal minds, njl.) kunye nehlabathi. And so they deny Jesus Christ and reject Him, ngaphandle kokuqonda.
Ngokucacileyo, UPetros wayengayazi le nyani, ukuba yena wamkhanyela uYesu Kristu. Ngoba ukuba ebeya kuyazi loo nto, mhlawumbi ngewayeguquke kwasekuqaleni. Kodwa lathi lakufika ithuba lesibini, ukuvuma ukuba uYesu uyiNkosi okanye ukukhanyela uYesu, UPetros waphinda wakhetha ukukhanyela uYesu. Kude kube semva kwesihlandlo sesithathu isihlwele samaqhude.
Ukuba uYesu akazange athethe ngokukhala komqhagi, mhlawumbi uPetros wayengayazi into yokuba wayemkhanyele uYesu Krestu ngamazwi akhe. Kodwa ngenxa yokuba uYesu wakhankanya ukukhala kwenkuku, UPetros wakhumbula amazwi kaYesu waza waqonda ukuba wayemkhanyele uThixo wakhe; iNkosi yakhe, neNkosi yakhe bamshiya.
Ngoko ke uThixo ubatyhilele yonke into eseLizwini lakhe oonyana bakhe ngezinto ezizayo.
Ezo, abangaziyo nabangakwaziyo ukuliqonda ixesha, esihlala kuyo kwaye singacaluli okulungileyo kokubi, kodwa vumela kwaye uvume yonke into, baseziintsana, abangalaziyo iLizwi.
Xa uneentloni ngoYesu namazwi akhe, UYesu uya kuba neentloni ngawe
Nabani na, ke ngoko, ndiya kuba neentloni ngam nangamazwi am, kwesi sizukulwana sikrexezayo, sonayo; Kuye uya kuNyana woMntu abe neentloni, Ukufika kwakhe kuzuko loYise kunye neengelosi ezingcwele (Phawula 8:38, ULuka 9:26)
Xa uneentloni ngoYesu namazwi akhe, UYesu uya kuba neentloni ngani, xa athe weza esebuqaqawulini boYise, enezithunywa ezingcwele.
Ukuba uza nazo zonke iintlobo zezizathu zokuthethelela ukuziphatha kwakho, UYesu akayi kuba namfesane kwaye angabi nanceba kuwe kunye nokuzithethelela kwakho.
Kungenxa yokuba uYesu waxela kwangaphambili yonke into kwaye ulungiselele amakholwa ukuchasa, intshutshiso, ukwaliwa, ukuthiya ihlabathi, kwaye nangokunjalo.
Ukuba kukho mntu uza kundilandela, makazincame, kwaye uthathe umnqamlezo wakhe yonke imihla, ndilandele. Kuba othe wathanda ukuwusindisa umphefumlo wakhe, wolahlekelwa nguwo: Kodwa osukuba ephulukana nobomi bakhe ngenxa yam, Kuyafana kuya kuyigcina (ULuka 9:23-24)
UYesu watsho, ukuba umenzele ukhetho kwaye wamkele usindiso lwakhe, emva koko kuya kuba njalo kubiza yonke into. Uye watsho, ukuba xa uthatha isigqibo sokumlandela kuthetha ukuba kufuneka uzincame, kuba akunakwenzeka ukuba kubekho iinkosi ezimbini ebomini bomntu.
Ithatha ukuba, ukuwuthwala yonke imihla umnqamlezo wakho, ngokuba amazwi kaThixo nentando yakhe achasene namazwi ehlabathi nentando yenyama.
Khangela kuYesu, uMbhali, noMgqibelelisi wokholo lwethu
Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith; owathi, ngenxa yovuyo olwalubekwe phambi kwakhe, wawunyamezela umnqamlezo, edela ihlazo, uhleli ngasekunene kwetrone kaThixo (Hebhere 12:2)
UYesu ufuna ukuba amehlo akho ajonge kuye kwaye ukhokelwa liLizwi. Akafuni ukuba ugcine amehlo akho ebantwini, iimeko, iingxaki, ngelixa elizayo, uloyiko, Umhlaba, kwaye nangokunjalo. Akafuni ukuba ukhokelwe ngabo.
Kodwa uYesu ufuna ukuba ujonge kuye kwaye uhlale kuye, ukuze nihlale ninoxolo lwakhe, nigcine uxolo lwakhe. Lo nto, nangona abantu, iimeko, kunye neendawo eziyingqongileyo, ufumana uxolo kunye novuyo luka Yesu Krestu kwaye uyakuhlala useluxolweni novuyo Lwakhe.
Ukuba ugcina amehlo akho kuYesu kwaye uhlale unyanisekile kuye kwaye wenze oko akuyalele ukuba ukwenze, uze uhlale kuye, umdumise yena namazwi akhe ebantwini.
Awuyi kuba neentloni ngoYesu Krestu kunye namazwi akhe kwaye awusayi kukhokelwa ngamehlo kunye noluvo lwabantu, kodwa uya kukhangela kuYesu Krestu kwaye ume kuye kwaye uvume amazwi akhe ebantwini kwaye uphakamise uYesu noYise., endaweni yokuwakhanyela amazwi akhe ebantwini ngamazwi nangezenzo uze uhlaze uYesu ekuhleni.
