Kukangaphi amaKristu amcaphula uIsaya 55:8, ukuba bazikhulule kwiimbopheleleko zabo njengoonyana bakaThixo kwaye bakhule bafane noYesu Krestu benze imisebenzi yaKhe? Many times they say: “We can never become like Him, because God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts and God’s ways are higher than our ways.” But is that true? Kukweyiphi imeko apho uThixo wawathetha la mazwi? What does the Bible say about God’s thoughts and our thoughts? What are God’s thoughts?
God has given power to become sons of God
Kodwa baninzi nje abamkelekileyo, kubo banika amandla okuba ngoonyana bakaThixo, kwanabo bakholwayo kwiGama laKhe: Ezazalwa, hayi ngegazi, nangasekuthandweni lwenyama, nangasemoyeni womntu, kodwa nguThixo (UYohane 1:12-13)
Ofcourse God is God and He always remains God and we can never take God’s place, but God has given us power to become His sons in Jesus Christ and to walk as His sons on this earth. Wathi uYesu, that we can never be above Him, but that we can become like Him.
Akukho mfundi mkhulu kunomfundisi wakhe, Okwenziweyo ngaphezu kwenkosi yakhe. Kwanele ukuba umfundi abe njengenkosi yakhe, nomkhonzi njengenkosi yakhe (UMateyu 10:24-25, ULuka 6:40)
If Jesus is your Lord and Master, then He has promised you, that you can become like Jesus and walk, just as Jesus walked on this earth as son of God. But you have to look for the things, engaphezulu nangaphantsi komhlaba.
The thoughts of the old man are not God’s thoughts
Kuba iingcinga zam azizizo iingcinga zakho, nawam nandlela azihambi, utsho uYehova. Kuba njengoko amazulu ephakamile kunomhlaba, Ke iindlela zam ziphakame ngaphezu kweendlela zakho, kunye neengcinga zam kuneengcinga zakho (uIsaya 55:8)
uIsaya 55:8 refers to the ungodly in verse 7. It was also related to the mercy and goodness of God, to God’s redemptive work, and to the thoughts of the indoda endala yenyama, who is spiritually dead and is led by his flesh.
That’s why the carnal mind and carnal thoughts of the old man, which are dominated by the flesh will never become equal to the mind of God, but will always strive against God’s mind, Iingcinga zikaThixo, kwaye Intando kaThixo. Because the flesh and the spirit always strive against each other.
The flesh and the spirit can never become a unity. That’s because evil is present in the flesh and in the unrepented heart of the old carnal man. And we all know that an unrepented heart produces evil thoughts and evil works.
Intliziyo engaguqukiyo iyazingca, ezele likratshi, nemvukelo, kwaye akanakuze akwazi ukuzithoba kuThixo, UYesu, noMoya oyiNgcwele.
Kwaye yena (UYesu) watsho, Oko kuphumayo emntwini, oko kumenza inqambi umntu. Kuba ngaphakathi, eziphuma entliziyweni yomntu, phumani iingcinga ezimbi, ukukrexeza, uhenyuzo, ukubulala, Ubusela, ukubawa, ubungendawo, inkohliso, I-Lascivied, iliso elibi, ukunyelisa, ikratshi, ubudenge: zonke ezi zinto zingendawo ziphuma ngaphakathi, amenze inqambi umntu (Phawula 7:20:23).
Umoya wendoda ewileyo ufile
Kodwa indoda yendalo ayisamkeli izinto zoMoya kaThixo: Kuba bubudenge kuye: kananjalo abawazi, Kuba baqondwe ngokomoya (1 KwabaseKorinte 2:14)
Ngenxa yenyani, ukuba umoya womntu owileyo ufile, umntu owileyo (ixhego) Asinako ukwamkela, nokuqiqa, nokuziqonda izinto zoMoya, nezobukumkani bukaThixo. Izinto zomoya zobukumkani bukaThixo zibubudenge kumntu owileyo, kwaye yiyo loo nto umntu owileyo esoloko evukela imiyalelo kaThixo.
KwiTestamente eNdala, izinto zokomoya zaqondakala kuphela, xa uMoya kaThixo wehla phezu komntu, njengomzekelo kubaprofeti.
Umoya womntu omtsha
Kodwa ngokugqibeleleyo umsebenzi wokuhlangula KuYesu Krestu, wonke umntu othe wakholwa kuYesu Krestu wamenza iNkosi uYesu phezu kobomi bakhe unikiwe amandla okuba kuYe isidalwa esitsha; unyana kaThixo. Wonke umntu, who will believe and be ubhaptiziwe kuye, will die in Him and lay down the flesh of the fallen man (Indoda endala yenyama), and the spirit of the new man will be raised in Him from the dead. The spirit cannot be raised from the dead, until the flesh has died.
The baptism with the Holy Spirit doesn’t mean that the Spirit of God will come occasionally upon man, as with the old carnal fallen man.
The Holy Spirit will not come and go, but the Holy Spirit will come and abide in the new man.
The new man is the habitation of the Holy Spirit.
The spirit of the new man has become alive and through the abiding of the Word and the Holy Spirit, the new man is able to get to know God’s will and God’s thoughts and walk according to God’s will and God’s thoughts, njengoYesu, Yayingubani owazalwa kwindalo entsha.
By doing God’s will, the new man shall walk as a son of God after Intando kaThixo.
Iingcinga zikaThixo ziba ziingcinga zakho
Kodwa njengoko kubhaliwe, Akukaboni, okanye indlebe iva, ayingenisi entliziyweni yomntu, Izinto azilungiselele uThixo abamthandayo. Kodwa uThixo ubatyhisisile kuthi ngoMoya wakhe: Kuba uMoya uphenguluza zonke izinto, ewe, Izinto Ezinzulu zikaThixo zikaThixo. Kuba umphefumlo uyazazi izinto zendoda, Yonga umoya womntu oke kuye? Ngokunjalo nezinto zikaThixo azikazi mntu, Kodwa uMoya kaThixo. Ngoku sifumene, hayi umoya wehlabathi, Ke uMoya onguThixo; Ukuze sizazi izinto ezisinikwa nguThixo ngokukhululekileyo (1 KwabaseKorinte 2:9-12)
Kuba ngubani na oyaziyo ingqiqo yeNkosi?, ukuze amyale? Ke thina sinayo ingqiqo kaKristu (1 KwabaseKorinte 2:16)
The more time you spend in the Word and abide in Him and be occupied with the things, that are above, apho uYesu Kristu uhleli khona, the more your mind and your thoughts will be renewed and will become like God’s way of thinking.
You shall get the mind of Christ and shall walk after the intando kaThixo, eyiyeyona Intando kaYesu. Kuphela ngegama, you shall get to know the Father and will God’s thoughts become your thoughts and God’s ways become your ways.
