The grace of God is shown throughout the Bible and is so great!. God loves people so much and doesn’t want any one to perish but that all people be saved. He only wants the best for people and have a relationship with them. God wanted this so much, that He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to this earth, to become a sacrifice for humanity. Jesu o nkile libe tsohle, ka leeme, mafu, and sicknesses of fallen humanity upon Him. Jesus died for everyone, ho kenyeletsa le uena. So that you’ll be delivered from sin and the power of darkness and be reconciled with God. Let’s look at what the Bible says about the grace of God.
Mohau wa Modimo ke eng?
Hobane Molimo o ratile Lefatše, Ha a mo fa Mora oa hae o tsoetsoeng a thabile, eo mang kapa mang ea lumelang ho eena ha ea lokela ho timela, empa o na le bophelo bo sa feleng (Johanne 3:16)
Jesus took the sins of the world and carried our punishment: death and eternal torture in hell. Jesus carried it all, so that we would be freed from sin, ka bokhopo, le lefu. Ka madi a Hae, we’re reconciled with God and can have a relationship with Him and live in freedom on earth.

What a love and grace of God!
And salvation is not all, that He has done. Che! He gave us His Holy Spirit. So that we could live on earth as bara ba Modimo (banna le ba batšehali).
Hona ho bolela, that we can live a life that Jesus lived, because what Jesus had, we have.
The life as a son or daughter of God is for now and not after we die and go to heaven.
The grace of God is that we’re not justified by our works, but by the work of Jesus Christ and His blood. We’re saved by faith in Christ.
Being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life (Baroma 5:9-10)
We could never earn our salvation by works! Only by the grace of God, ho Kreste, we’re restored (fodile), a boelane le Modimo. We have become partakers of the inheritance that God gave us through His Son Jesus Christ.
What is the inheritance of the sons of God?
The inheritance of the sons of God is the gift of the Holy Spirit; Ho ba Moea oa Moea o Halalelang. We are born of God and have His nature and may walk in the spiritual gifts and distribute life to others.
It’s the grace of God that you may have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. What a blessing it is, to be and walk in His presence and communicate with Him. There is nothing you can do to earn this. No work will get you to that place. The only thing you have to do is Lumela ho Jesu Kreste, baka, and be born again in Him.
You have received it freely. How great is God’s love!
But now comes the essential point, Are you allowed to walk in sin after you become born again? Can you walk like you used to walk before your conversion?
Does the grace of God allow you to walk in sin?
Che, the grace of God does not allow you to walk in sin. If you want to remain disobedient to God and keep sinning, u bakile eng? If you don’t turn your back to sin, but keep walking in sin, you are not delivered from your sinful nature.
When you have an encounter with Jesus Christ, His presence and holiness will confront you with your sins, Tlhaho ea Sebe, and your filthy state.
When you are confronted with your sins and sinful nature, you have two options. The first option is, you mourn, baka, and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. The second option is, you walk away, reject Jesus and His sacrifice, 'me u lule u phela sebeng.
If you choose the first option, you repent from your sins and accept Jesus, as your Saviour and Lord and be cleansed by His blood, which was shed on the cross on Calvary. Ho tloha motsotsong oo, hao old life is gone and washed away by the blood of Jesus.
You’ll be baptized in water and baptized with the Holy Spirit and become a new creation; mora wa Modimo (sena se sebetsa ho banna le basali).
2 Korinthe 5:17
What is the power of the blood of Jesus Christ?
The power of the blood of Jesus Christ that it cleanses you from all your sins and iniquities and sanctifies you. All things are passed away and that all things become new. Na hoo ha ho babatsehe! That is the power of the cross and the blood of Jesus Christ.
But when you return to your old sinful life, you will deny the power of His blood and therefore deny Jesus Christ.
When you are taught in the Bible and study the Word of God and keep walking in sin, still doing the things that you did before your repentance, and use ‘the grace of God’ as a license to sin (because you love your old life as a sinner and don’t want to give it up), you deceive yourself.
The devil is a liar and twists the meaning of grace.
He uses a partial truth of God and make you believe that by the blood of Jesus Christ and the grace of God you are allowed to sin, because you will always be a sinner. Empa hoo ke leshano!
If you keep walking in sin and use the grace of God to make it all right, it only means one thing:: you don’t want to ishoele ka bowena and are not really born again. You’re not convicted yet of the evil of sin and your depraved sin nature.
You may think you are, but your actions prove that you are not born again. You still listen to your old father the devil, by walking in sins.
You’re holy and righteous, therefore act holy and righteous
Ha o tsoaloa labobeli, o fetoha mora wa Modimo; popo e ncha. Joaloka Mora oa Molimo, you have His nature dwelling on the inside of you. You have become holy and righteous.
You are seated in Jesus Christ. Your life is hidden in Him, you have become one with Him. Joale ho ho uena, if you want to stay in Him.
If you stay in Him; Lentswe la Modimo, you obey His words and walk in His commandments. You will do His will instead of your will. When you obey Him and walk in His will, you walk holy and righteousness.
“Be holy, for I am holy”
How can you become one with Him and become a partaker of His nature, when you keep obeying and serving the devil, by walking in sins? Seo ha se khonehe!
You can either do the will of the Father and walk in His commandments or do the will of the devil and keep walking in sins and iniquities, fulfilling the will, ditakatso, le litakatso tsa nama.
Do you know that every time you sin, you serve and exalt the devil?
Sebe ke eng?
Sin is rebellion and disobedience to God. Sin is everything, that oppose the words and will of God and therefore trespasses His commandments of the Law of the Spirit of life (The Law of His Kingdom).
Paul wrote in Romans 6:1-23 the following about sin;
Re tla reng he? Ha le tsebe, that so many of us as were baptised into Jesus Christ were baptised into his death? Ka hona, re patoa le eena ka kolobetso: hore jwalokaha Kreste a tsositswe bafung ka kganya ya Ntate, ka mokgwa o jwalo le rona re tsamaye bophelong bo botjha.
Hobane haeba re lenngoe hammoho ka sebopeho sa lefu la hae, we shall be also in the likenessof his resurrection: Ho tseba sena, hore monna oa rona ea tsofetseng o tšoaneloa ke eena, hore 'mele oa sebe o ka felisoa, ho tloha moo re ne re sa lokela ho sebeletsa sebe. Hobane ea shoeleng o lokollotsoe sebeng sebeng.
Baroma 6:1-23
“Ka hona ho se sebe ka nako eo 'meleng oa hau ea shoang”
Ka hona ho se sebe ka nako eo 'meleng oa hau ea shoang, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.U se ke ua o laela litho tsa hao e le lisebelisoa tsa ho se loke?: I IURELA HO IGOELO MOLIMO, joalo ka tse ntseng li phela ho tloha bafung, 'Me litho tsa hao li le liletsa tsa ho loka ho Molimo.
Ka nako eo o lokolohile sebeng, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: etsoe joalo ka ha le hlahisitse bahlanka ba hao ho sa hloeka le ho ba hlokolosi ho isa bokhopo; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, Le lokollotsoe ho Loka.
“Moputso wa sebe ke lefu”
Le tholoana efe e ne e kolobisitsoe ke litholoana life tseo le hlajoa ke lihlong hona joale? For the end of those things is death.Empa joale e se e lokolotsoe sebeng, u be bahlanka ho Molimo, le na le tholoana ea hao ho ea khalalelo, and the end everlasting life.
Bakeng sa moputso oa sebe ke lefu; empa mpho ea Molimo ke bophelo bo sa feleng ka Morena Morena oa rona.
Why the grace of God is not a license to sin?
When you’re born of God and get to know the Word, you turn your back to sin, and do what pleases God.
The grace of God is the unending love of the Father, that through His Son Jesus Christ, you may become a partaker of the inheritance for His people. His grace is the ability and the privilege to become sons and daughters of the most High God, by faith in Jesus Christ and by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
Mohau wa Modimo, is the sanctification period. It is the time God gives you, ho tlosa monnamoholo, le aparang motho e motjha. So that you’ll walk as a son of God in the Light and the dominion that Jesus walked in.
Walk as the new creation
You will walk as Jesus walked and reveal and destroy the works of the devil. You’ll preach the gospel, set the captives free, and heal those who are sick in the Name of Jesus.
You will no longer walk after the flesh in sin (in rebellion and disobedience to God and His Word), but after the Spirit in obedience to the Word in the wisdom and knowledge of God, doing the works of righteousness. Jwale, that is grace!
Therefore separate yourself and live like Jesus lived. Renew your mind with the words of God and be courageous. Don’t let anyone discourage you! Continue, even when people around you think you are a fool.
Keep your eyes on Jesus Christ, Lentswe le phelang la Modimo. He is the One you need to follow!
