Por pse Jezusi iu referua mbretëreshës së jugut dhe njerëzve të Ninevisë, what did they have in common? Let’s look at what significant thing the queen of Sheba and the men of Nineveh had done, which was worth mentioning.

Who was the queen of the south?

The queen of the south was the queen of Sheba. The queen of Sheba was the one, who went to Solomon according to the Bible. (1 Mbretërit 10:1-13, 2 Kronikat 9:1-12).

Why did the queen of the south go to Solomon?

The queen of the south went to Solomon to see whether the fame of Solomon concerning the Name of the Lord was true. And so she went to Jerusalem with a great train, with camels that bore spices, i artë, and precious stones, to prove Solomon with hard questions.

image justice scale and judgment hammer and bible verse matthew 12-42 the queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation and shall condemn it for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of solomon and behold a greater than solomon is here

When the queen of Sheba arrived in Jerusalem, she went to Solomon to hear his wisdom.

The queen of Sheba spoke all that was in her heart and Solomon answered all her hard questions. Nothing was too difficult and hidden for King Solomon.

Kjo është sepse, God revealed all things to Solomon, whereby Solomon could explain everything and answer all the hard questions of the queen of Sheba. God kept nothing hidden for Solomon.

When the queen of Sheba heard the words of Solomon that contained the wisdom of God concerning His judgment and justice, and she saw the house that he had built, his staff, and all his possessions, there was no doubt anymore.

She believed that what she heard about Salomon concerning the Name of the Lord was true.

The queen of the south heard the word of Solomon and believed the report of Solomon concerning the Name of the Lord

The queen of the south believed that all the wisdom that Solomon spoke and all that he had done and possessed was from the Lord his God and that God delighted in Solomon to set him as king on the throne of Israel, because the Lord loved Israel forever. Therefore God appointed Solomon to be king to do judgment and justice.

As a result of her faith, the queen of Sheba gave Solomon 120 talents of gold, a very large amount of spices, and precious stones. And Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all that she desired and whatsoever she asked besides what the king gave her of his royal bounty

The men of Nineveh heard and believed the word of Jonah coming from God

When the men of Nineveh heard the words of Jonah concerning God’s judgment over the city of Nineveh, they believed that the word of Jonah was from God and that his word was true.

The men of Nineveh believed that Jonah was sent by God and that he spoke the word of the Lord.

They all believed that God’s judgment would come over the city of Nineveh after 40 ditë.

As a result of their faith in God’s word, they repented of their evil works and agjëroi before the Lord, hoping that the Lord would see their sorrow, përulësi, and repentance, and change His mind and save the city of Nineveh and her inhabitants.

Because the men of Nineveh heard and believed the word of Jonah as the word coming from the Lord and repented of their evil works (mëkat), and God saw their sorrow and works, God showed them grace and repented of the evil and saved the city of Nineveh.

The Pharisees and Sadducees didn’t believe the word of Jesus coming from God

Megjithatë, kur God sent out of love for the world His Son Jesus the Christ to the earth and gave Him His Name, His Spirit, Fjalët e tij, dhe pushtetin, not everyone believed that Jesus was sent by God and spoke His words

Many heard about Jesus of Nazareth and went to see Him and hear His words and see the signs and wonders He did.

image bird flying away and bible verse john 8-47 he that is of God hears God's words ye therefore hear them not because ye are not of God

Megjithatë, after seeing Jesus, hearing His words, and seeing His works, not everyone believed that Jesus was sent by God and that He was the Christ, veçanërisht, të (fetar) leaders of the house of Israel.

The majority of the Pharisees and Sadducees heard His words and doctrines concerning the Kingdom of heaven, God’s justice, dhe gjykimi, and saw the healings and deliverances of evil spirits, but they didn’t believe that Jesus came in the Name of the Lord and spoke His words and did His works

Although the words and works of Jesus testified and proved that Jesus was sent by God and that He spoke the words of His Father and did His works, njerëzit, who were learned in the Scriptures and supposed to see and know God and be acquainted with His will, didn’t recognize His Son Jesus, të Mesia (Krishti), and the Living Word, and didn’t believe in Him. (te.. Gjoni 5, 6:35-40, 8:48-59, 9, 10:24-39).

Instead of believing Jesus, they accused Jesus of being a Samaritan, having a devil, and doing the works in the name of Beelzebub. They even called Him Beelzebub (Oh. Mateu 10:25; 12:24, shenjë 3:22, Luka 11:15, Gjoni 7:20-30, 8:48-59, 10:20).

They tempted Jesus by asking for a sign

And if that wasn’t offending and humiliating enough, they tempted Jesus, Biri i Perëndisë, by asking Him for a sign to prove Himself. While Jesus had spoken so many words and done so many signs and wonders.

But His words, and all the signs and wonders they witnessed, didn’t persuade them and didn’t make them see and believe in the Son, Fjalën e Gjallë, and Bread from heaven, sepse ata (njerëzit) were not of God and were blinded by their blindness.

The words of Jesus testified that God sent Him

The words of Jesus testified that God sent Him and spoke His words, yet they didn’t believe. Why didn’t they believe? They didn’t belong to God and didn’t know Him, but they belonged to the evil and adulterous generation. Because an evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign.

They didn’t believe Jesus. Prandaj, they didn’t repent of their wicked works (mëkatet) and were not i pagëzuar në ujë.

Instead of repenting and being baptized, they rejected the word of God and continued their lascivious lives in pride and rebellion against God and disobedience to His word. Because that was what the desire of their evil hearts, which belong to a wicked and adulterous generation. A heart full of unbelief and iniquity.

Jesus was more than Solomon and Jonah, but not everyone believed in Him

While the words of Solomon persuaded the queen of the south, and as a result she believed in God, and the words of Jonah persuaded the men of Nineveh and his preaching brought them to repentance, Fjalët e Jezusit, the Son and image of the living God, were not believed by everyone and they didn’t repent and were baptized, while Jesus was more than Solomon and Jonah.

Jesus was more than Solomon and Jonah. Megjithatë, the people were so prideful, i verdhë, and evil that they didn’t believe and repent on the preaching of Jesus.

The queen of the south and the men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment and judge the unbelievers

Because they didn’t believe in the Son and didn’t repent of their evil works, but persevered, the queen of the south and the men of Nineveh would rise in judgment with this generation and condemn them, who belonged to the generation of fallen man and didn’t believe the Word but rejected the Word and didn’t repent of their evil works (mëkat) and were not baptized in water, but persevered in sin.

Jesus said indirectly, that the fact that they were born of the seed of Israel (Jakobi) was not a guarantee that they were saved. Their works proved, who they believed and to whom they did and didn’t belong. (Lexoni gjithashtu: Çfarë zëri dëgjon?).

God delighted to put His Son as King on the throne of His Kingdom and rule over His people

The queen of the south saw the love of God for His people of Israel by putting Solomon on the throne of Israel and judging the people with justice and righteousness. Megjithatë, many of the house of Israel, duke përfshirë udhëheqësit fetarë, passed by God’s love and rejected Jesus the King and crucified Him.

Ende, many people pass by God’s love by hearing but not believing the words of God and don’t acknowledge Jesus as the Son and the Messiah of God. They don’t believe in His words, vdekjen, ringjallje, dhe të qenit appointed as King on the throne of God’s Kingdom. Prandaj, they don’t repent, aren’t baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit, and don’t do what Jesus says, but live as enemies of God and His Word, as the world in sin.

Jesus is King and Head of the Church

After all the temptations, rezistencës, persecution of His enemies, and all mockery, vuajtjet, refuzim, dhe kryqëzimi, God highly exalted His Son Jesus and appointed Him as King on the throne of His Kingdom out of love for His people; His congregation, to speak justice and righteousness. (Oh. Isaia 9:6-7, kolosianëve 1:13-18. hebrenjve 1, Zbulesa 1:5-9).

Por ende, not everyone acknowledges that God i vajosur (appointed and consecrated) Jesus as King, whereby the Kingship and Lordship of Jesus Christ and His righteousness are not acknowledged in many churches, and His words are not believed, iu bind, and executed. Dhe për shkak të kësaj, the devil has free reign in the lives of many and devours them.
