To sin or not to sin is the decision you make in life. Every person is responsible for his or her own life and decides to believe God and His Word (Biblia) and walk in the will of God or not. Just like the Father, Jesus gave a command to sin no more but it was up to the people to give heed to his command or not. Let’s look at the story of the healing of the lame man at the pool of Bethesda and the woman who committed adultery and was caught in the act.
The healing of the lame man at the pool of Bethesda
În Ioan 5:1-15, Isus a vindecat un om, care avea o infirmitate pentru 38 ani. Acest om șchiop stătea întins pe un pat la piscina din Bethesda.
When Jesus saw the lame man, He went to him and asked him if he wanted to get well. Schiopul a răspuns lui Isus, that he didn’t have anyone to bring him to the water to get healed.
Atunci Isus i-a poruncit omului să se ridice, să-și ia patul și să meargă. The man obeyed the words of Jesus and stood up and walked. Omul șchiop a fost vindecat de Isus! But what did Jesus say to him about the decision to sin or not to sin?
Why did Jesus say to Sin no more?
When Jesus met the man who was healed of his infirmity in the Temple in Jerusalem, Isus i-a poruncit omului să nu mai păcătuiască. Why did Jesus say to sin no more? Lest a worse thing would come unto him.
Isus l-a vindecat pe om de boala lui (infirmitatea lui). Omul a fost sănătos și Împărăția lui Dumnezeu venise la el.
Împărăția întunericului îl captivase pe om pentru 38 ani. But when Jesus came and the power of the Kingdom of heaven came upon him, bărbatul a fost eliberat din robia lui.
După aceea, Isus l-a găsit în templu, şi i-a spus, Iată, ești făcut întreg: Păcatul nu mai mult, ca să nu-ți vină ceva mai rău

Isus l-a eliberat pe om din închisoarea spirituală a întunericului
Jesus released this lame man from this spiritual prison of darkness. Now that this man was released from this spiritual prison of darkness, Jesus commanded the healed man to no violate the spiritual laws by sinning.
Cu alte cuvinte; Jesus told the man to keep the commandments and do the voia lui Dumnezeu and stay obedient to God instead of obeying and doing the will of the devil (care lucrează în trup) prin păcătuire.
Because if the man decided to reject the commandment of Jesus and disobey God and sin, he would be taken captive again by the forces of darkness and worse things would happen to him.
Isus l-a avertizat pe om, because the man was carnal. He didn’t see the spiritual realm and couldn’t discern the spirits. But Jesus was spiritual and knew the spirit realm and the spiritual laws and revealed it to him through His word.
Jesus knew the Kingdom of Heaven and the kingdom of darkness. He wanted this man to stay free and not become a prisoner of the devil and darkness again.
Prin urmare, Isus i-a poruncit omului să nu mai păcătuiască.
a spus Isus, Go and sin no more to the woman that committed adultery
În Ioan 8:1-11, we read about a woman that was caught in the act of adultery. The woman that committed adultery was brought unto Jesus. Cărturarii și fariseii au acuzat-o pe femeie de adulter și i-au spus lui Isus ce a făcut ea.
They suggested to stone her according to the Legea lui Moise. But the words of these men didn’t come from a good conscience. They only wanted to tempt Jesus, so that they could accuse Him.
Isus a scris pe pământ cu degetul Său și le-a spus, “He who’s sinless among you, să fie el primul care aruncă piatra peste ea“.
Jesus knew that the people that belonged to the old generation of fallen man were carnal. They were trapped in the sinful nature of the flesh.
Instead of stoning the adultrous woman, the men left one by one until there was no one left except Jesus and the adultrous woman.
În acel moment, Jesus had the power to condemn the woman and stone her. Because Jesus walked in the authority of the Kingdom of God (ca noua creație) and was sinless.
in orice caz, Jesus said to the woman that He wouldn’t condemn her either. Since it was not Jesus’ time to judge but to save.
DAR… Iisus nu a aprobat of her work of adultery. Jesus commanded the woman to go her way and Păcatul nu mai mult.
Iisus i-a spus, Nici eu nu te condamn: merge, și să nu mai păcătuiască
Ioan 8:11
Noua creație este separată de lume
When you repent and become born again in Christ and enter the Kingdom of God, you leave the kingdom of darkness and are separated from the world. You have been forgiven, răscumpărat, and made whole and righteous by the blood of Jesus Christ.
You’ve become new creation and as a result of this spiritual transformation, veți alungă-ți bătrânul cu vechile lui obiceiuri.
Nu vei mai merge așa cum ai mers înainte de pocăința ta, because you repented from that lifestyle and its works (a cărnii).
Este esențial să realizăm asta Nu mai ești păcătos. You have become a saint through regeneration in Christ.
If you don’t realize and believe this, you will always think and live as a sinner. You’ll be stuck in your sins and never be freed from your sins.
Când te-ai născut din nou, ai pășit dintr-o împărăție spirituală în alta (Coloseni 1:13-14)
In your old life, you thought like the world and walked in sin (sin = disobedience to God. It’s everything that goes against the Word of God that represents the will of God) and you were of the devil.
The nature of the devil will do his will
You had the character and nature of your father the devil. In your fallen state, nu ai fost în stare să te supui lui Dumnezeu și să faci voia Lui. In schimb, you lived after the will of the flesh in rebellion.
You were rebellious towards God and His Word and obedient to the words and will of the devil (testamentul, Pofta, and desire of your flesh), și a trăit în păcat. Biblia spune, că dacă păcătuieşti, you have the devil as father and do the lust thereof (Ioan 8:44).
When you decided să se pocăiască, ai spus indirect că nu vrei să-l mai ai pe diavol ca tată. Nu ai vrut să te supui cuvintelor lui și să mergi în voia lui. Te-ai săturat de viața ta sub autoritatea lui.
Când ai auzit cuvintele Evangheliei și l-ai întâlnit pe Isus Hristos, ai crezut în El și L-ai acceptat ca Mântuitor și Domn al tău.
L-ai vrut pe Dumnezeu ca Tată în locul diavolului și să asculti de cuvintele Lui și să mergi în voia Lui. Nu ai vrut să asculti de cuvintele diavolului și să mergi în voia Lui.
Natura lui Dumnezeu va face voia Lui
From the moment you are born again and receive the nature of your Father God, you will long for Him and the things of His Kingdom. There must be a desire to do the will of God and to walk according to what God says.
A real father knows what is good for his child. A real father wants the best for his child. Dacă un tată pământesc vrea ce e mai bun pentru copiii săi, cu atât mai mult Tatăl vostru ceresc.
De aceea, God revealed His will to us in His Word (Biblia).
God revealed to us not only what pleases Him and what displeases Him, but He also revealed the way of salvation, cum să deveni o nouă creație and how to walk as the new creation in His will.
God revealed it all in the Bible which is His Word. Astfel încât, Calea lui devine calea ta și His thoughts becomes your thoughts.
Did the people choose to sin or not to sin?
Iisus i-a spus omului, care s-a vindecat de neputinţa lui şi de femeie, care a fost prins în actul de adulter, să nu mai păcătuiască. Prin urmare, these people had the power to sin no more. They had the power to say ‘no to sin’. But did they obey the commandment of Jesus and choose to sin no more or not?
Isus i-a spus, Să iubești pe Domnul Dumnezeul tău din toată inima ta, și cu tot sufletul tău, și cu toată mintea ta. Aceasta este prima și marea poruncă. Iar al doilea este asemănător cu el, Să-ți iubești aproapele ca pe tine însuți. De aceste două porunci atârnă toată legea și proorocii (Matei 22:37-40)
Femeia avea puterea de a spune „nu”.’ la adulter, pentru că altfel, Isus nu i-ar fi dat porunca să nu mai păcătuiască. Întrebarea este, a răspuns femeia lui Isus’ poruncă de a nu mai păcătui?
Did the adulterous woman obey the commandment of Jesus or did she let her feelings, pofta ei, and her desire rule over the words of Jesus and give in to her feelings of lust and desire?
Ține minte, când Isus a poruncit să nu mai păcătuim, His crucifixion and the revărsare a Duhului Sfânt had not taken place yet.
So these people were not born again. Erau încă vechea creație. However the old creation had the power to say ‘no’ să păcătuiască și să nu mai păcătuiască.
Nici tu ai puterea de a nu mai păcătui. Decizi să păcătuiești sau să nu păcătuiești.
Prin lucrarea răscumpărătoare a lui Isus Hristos, ai fost făcut sfânt și neprihănit. Acum că ai fost făcut sfinți și neprihăniți, ai fost de asemenea chemat să trăiești în sfințenie și dreptate (2 Corinteni 5:21).
Mântuit prin har și făcând lucrările Duhului
Nu ești mântuit prin fapte, but by grace. Dar a fi sub har nu înseamnă că ți se permite să continui să păcătuiești. Pentru că dacă trupul tău a murit în Hristos când te-ai născut din nou, cum puteți face lucrările cărnii?
Să iubești pe Domnul Dumnezeul tău din toată inima ta, și cu tot sufletul și cu toată mintea și să-ți iubești aproapele ca pe tine însuți (Matei 22:37-40)
When you are saved and born again, you see the nature and effect of sin, care este rodul morţii. You will hate sin, La fel ca Dumnezeu. Îți vei urî viața anterioară de păcătos și nu te vei mai întoarce la ea. (Citeste si: Poți să continui să păcătuiești sub har?)
Când dvs. iubeste pe Dumnezeu din toată inima, suflet, minte, și puterea pe care o vei iubi să faci voia Lui.
You shall spend time with God and renew your mind with the Word of God (Biblia) and apply His words into your life, astfel încât să devii împlinitor al cuvintelor lui Dumnezeu și să faci lucrările Duhului. Nu trebuie, dar tu vrei, pentru că ai fost făcut după asemănarea Lui și Îl iubești pe Dumnezeu.
Când Cuvântul și Duhul Sfânt locuiesc în interiorul tău, vei umbla după Duhul în ascultare de Cuvânt. Vei merge în dragoste, sfinţenie, și dreptatea, făcând voia Tatălui și înălțându-L și slăvind-L.
