Dalam Wahyu 2:13 Yesus bercakap tentang takhta Iblis di Pergamos (Pergamon). Pergamon adalah salah satu daripada tujuh bandar, yang disebutkan Yesus dalam kitab wahyu. Tujuh bandar itu adalah sebahagian daripada Asia Kecil dan milik empayar Rom. Walaupun penaklukan Rom, budaya Yunani mendominasi. Itu, bandar-bandar itu penuh dengan ilmu ghaib. Gereja-gereja setiap hari berhadapan dengan penyembahan berhala, pagan (Seksual) ritual dan adat resam, permainan, Sihir, ramalan, dan percabulan. Semasa Yesus’ lawatan ke John di Pulau Patmos, Yesus menyebut takhta Syaitan (tempat duduk syaitan). Di mana takhta syaitan? Takhta Syaitan berada di Pergamos (Pergamon), tempat Syaitan berdiam. Tetapi apa yang Yesus maksudkan dengan takhta Syaitan?
Apakah yang dikatakan Alkitab tentang kota Pergamos?
Dalam Wahyu 2:12-13 Yesus berkata, bahawa Syaitan berdiam di Pergamos dan takhta Syaitan atau takhta Syaitan berada di Pergamos.
Dan tulislah kepada malaikat jemaat di Pergamos; Inilah firman Dia yang mempunyai pedang yang tajam dengan dua mata; Saya tahu karya -Mu, dan di mana engkau tinggal, walaupun tempat duduk syaitan: dan engkau berpegang teguh pada nama-Ku, dan kamu tidak mendustakan iman-Ku, bahkan pada hari-hari di mana Antipas adalah martir-Ku yang setia, yang terbunuh di antara kamu, di mana syaitan berdiam (Wahyu 2:12-13)

Jika takhta Syaitan atau takhta Syaitan berada di Pergamos maka ini bermakna Syaitan mempunyai kuasa di wilayah Pergamos dan dia mentadbir kota itu.. Itu, seluruh kota itu berada di bawah kekuasaan Syaitan.
Syaitan memerintah di Pergamos melalui perbuatan dan kehidupan orang ramai. Rakyat, yang tinggal di Pergamos menyembah Syaitan dan memberikan kuasa Syaitan melalui pekerjaan dan kehidupan yang mereka jalani.
Iblis memberi manusia apa yang mereka kehendaki, iaitu hikmah, pengetahuan, kemakmuran, kuasa, hiburan dan penyembuhan.
Apabila kita melihat bangunan, budaya, kerja dan kehidupan rakyat, kita akan mengetahui bagaimana syaitan mendirikan takhtanya di Pergamos. (Baca juga: Kekuatan syaitan dikuasakan oleh dosa).
Acropolis
Pergamos adalah ibu kota kebudayaan Hellenistik (bahasa Yunani) budaya. Walaupun penaklukan Rom, budaya Yunani mendominasi. Di 29 SM Pergamos menjadi ibu kota Asia Kecil. Dan kuil Rom pertama dibina untuk menghormati Rom dan Ogos empayar.
Itu (raja) istana, kuil pagan, mezbah Pergamon, perpustakaan yang hebat, gimnasia, teater, amfiteater, kepunyaan stoa, Prytaneion itu (kerusi kerajaan; bangunan dari mana kerajaan menjalankan kuasa), tempat pasar (sekarang) dan mata air semuanya dibina di Acropolis Pergamos.
Kuil pagan
Iblis ditinggikan dan disembah di kuil pagan; kuil Athena, kuil Dionysos, kuil Demeter, kuil Rom dan Ogos, dan kuil Hera.
Pada abad kedua Masihi, kuil Trajan dan kuil Mesir dibina. Kuil Trajan dibina sebagai penghormatan kepada maharaja Trajan. Kuil Mesir dibina untuk dewa Mesir Serapis dan Isis. Kuil Mesir ini juga dipanggil Basilika Merah.
Apabila Kristian menjadi agama negara empayar Rom, kuil pagan purba, termasuk Basilika Merah, digunakan sebagai gereja.
Mezbah Pergamon yang hebat; mezbah Zeus
Orang ramai mempersembahkan korban untuk Syaitan di atas mezbah, termasuk mezbah besar Pergamon. Mezbah besar Pergamon dibina di salah satu teres Acropolis sebagai penghormatan kepada Zeus dan Athena.
Walaupun mezbah besar Pergamon juga dipanggil mezbah Zeus, dewa tertinggi Yunani dan tuhan langit, tiada bukti yang mencukupi untuk mengesahkannya.
Gimnasium dan perpustakaan yang hebat
Syaitan memberi hikmat kepada umatnya, pengetahuan, dan pandangan. Syaitan mendidik kaumnya di gimnasium. Dia belajar anak muridnya menulis, dan membaca, dan dididik oleh ahli falsafah, dan mengamalkan sukan berbogel
Bukan sahaja tuhan Yunani disembah di gimnasium, tetapi juga tuhan-tuhan Mesir. Sejak orang Yunani mengamalkan banyak aspek orang Mesir.
Selain gimnasium, rakyat juga mendapat pendidikan di Pergamos’ perpustakaan yang hebat, yang merupakan perpustakaan kedua terbesar di dunia
Teater
Syaitan menyibukkan kaumnya dan menghiburkan mereka dalam a.o. amfiteater, teater, dan membuatkan mereka berehat di dalam mandian terma.
Asclepeion; pusat perubatan
Syaitan menyediakan segala-galanya, termasuk tempat di mana umatnya boleh pergi untuk penyembuhan. Kerana di Pergamon juga terdapat Asclepeion, iaitu kuil pagan Asclepius.
Kuil penyembuhan ini (pusat perubatan dan sanatorium purba) dibina dan didedikasikan kepada Asclepius; tuhan doktor-demi pertama dalam mitologi Yunani dan tuhan perubatan dan penyembuhan.
Asclepius adalah anak kepada Apollo dan Coronis dan mempunyai kuasa penyembuhan. Ramai orang percaya pada kuasa penyembuhannya dan oleh itu, mereka datang ke Asclepion untuk disembuhkan.
Di Asclepeion juga terdapat mandian terma, sebuah stadium, sebuah gimnasium, sebuah perpustakaan, dan sebuah teater. The temple sleep in the Asclepeion
The Asclepeion was best known for its temple sleep. After following certain rituals, like sacrifices to the gods, praying special prayer formulas, and ritual purifications, the patient went to the dormitory in the temple.
In the dormitory, they were hypnotized. During their sleep, they hoped that Asclepius would heal them or that they would receive a dream of him or of one of his children (Oh. Kebersihan, ubat penawar, and Aceso). When they received a dream, they went to the priest of Asclepius (doktor).
The priest of Asclepius would analyze the dream and provide treatment. Sometimes the treatments included an operation, whereby the patient was put to sleep by using i.e. opium.
Modern medicine and hospitals have their origin in these healing temples of Asclepius.

We don’t read anything about Jesus going to the theatre and being entertained and visiting sports (permainan) or music competitions.
We don’t read anything about Jesus being focused on exercising or exercising Himself and promoting a healthy way of living. Neither do we read anything about Jesus sending someone to the Asclepeion.

What is the throne of Satan?
Jesus revealed to John that the throne of Satan was in Pergamos and that Pergamos was Satan’s dwelling place. When we look at the city of Pergamos, it could very well be, that the throne of Satan not only referred to the altar of Zeus. But the throne of Satan referred to the whole city of Pergamos; kerajaan, agama, pendidikan, dan kehidupan orang.
Everything that was built was inspired by Satan. Satan was the author and ruled in all these places. Satan’s purpose was to inspire the people and reign in their lives. Jadi itu, Satan would be exalted by the people.

The persecution of Christians in Pergamos
No wonder, that Christians were persecuted in Pergamos. Satan saw that his territory was under attack and taken by Christians.
To prevent his territory from being taken by Christians, Satan tried to eliminate his enemies through false doctrines, carnal seductions, compromising with the pagan culture, bowing to leaders, dan denying Jesus Christ.
And if all these things didn’t work, because the Christians stayed obedient and faithful to Jesus Christ and His Word, and didn’t deny Jesus and didn’t bow to Satan, who ruled in the lives of the political and religious leaders, the Christians were put to death (Baca juga: ‘Adakah anda mengaku Yesus sebelum manusia atau adakah anda menafikan Yesus).
Dalam masyarakat kita, we still see the influence of the Roman and Greek cultures in the western world. If you are spiritually asleep and your spiritual eyes are closed you don’t see it. The knowledge shall increase

It is expected from people that they perform on the highest level and obtain the highest education and the highest positions in society. And this already starts at a young age.
When a child develops slowly, teachers immediately inform their parents and call them to action.
The child is no longer allowed to be a child. But the child is expected to grow up speedily and to perform. The child is analyzed and put in a box, through means of SATs, which are developed by saintis (origin Greek philosophy) to measure the intelligence level of a child.
Many parents don’t listen to the needs and desires of their children. They don’t look at what makes their children happy. But most parents impose their will and push their children to perform at a high level and obtain the highest education. So that their children get a high position in society and their parents can show off.
Children are unhappy and feel lost
There is such pressure on children, that many children are unhappy and feel that they are not heard, diterima, and loved and that’s why many children derail.

Idolatry leads to sexual uncleanness
Sexual uncleanness is a manifestation of the activity of demonic powers. This happened in Pergamos, where it was normal to have plural sexual relationships with both males and females outside the perkahwinan covenant. Because if they did believe this, as so many Christians do today, then they would not address the carnal works and sin. They wouldn’t have commanded the believers to repent and remove them from their lives.
Dalam perjanjian lama, God didn’t want His people to get involved with pagan cultures and customs. Sebaliknya, God wanted them to separate themselves from them and stay dedicated and obedient to Him and His Word. God still doesn’t want His people to get involved with the pagan culture of this world.
The throne of Satan established on earth
Semua perkara, which took place in Pergamon, take place in the world and have become the center of the lives of people.
The Roman empire, in which the Greek culture predominated, is still present and dominates on earth. Ini menunjukkan, that Satan has established his throne on earth. Satan is still the god of this world and the people worship Satan as god through the lives they live.
Satan takes possession of the minds of people. Because Satan knows, that when he controls the mind, he possesses the life. He gives them what they want and fulfills their carnal needs. And in return, the people worship Satan and give Satan power through their works and their lives.
Allah adalah Pencipta
But God is Pencipta langit dan bumi dan semua ada di dalam. God’s will and His law, iaitu hukum Roh, is established forever. His Word is the truth and stands forever!
The whole creation testifies of God and therefore no person has any excuse. Setiap orang, who doesn’t want to submit to God and His Word and commandments shall bring mischief over his or her life and shall be judged by the Word on the great Day of the Lord (John 12:48).
