Kolosa 2:18 – Kei mamingatia koutou e te tangata ki ta koutou utu!

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, And not holding the Head, from which all the Body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God (Kolosa 2:18-19)

Na roto i te whakapono me te whanautanga hou ki a te Karaiti, kua riro koe hei tama na te Atua (e pa ana tenei ki nga tane me nga wahine) and received an inheritance in Christ. You’ve been made righteous in Him and received power and authority to walk as a son of God in the truth of God on earth. (Aue. Hone 1:17, Karatia 6:3:26-27, Roma 8:14-19, Epeha 5:1-6, Philipi 2:15, 1 Hone 3:1-10; 5:2).

Jesus Christ is the Mediator of the New Covenant and Head of the Church

Na, na reira, teina, Ka maia te uru ki te tino tapu na te toto o Ihu, E te ara hou me te ora, i whakatapua ia mo tatou, na roto i te arai, ko te korero, Tōna kikokiko; And having an High Priest over the House of God; Kia whakatata tatou me te ngakau pono i roto i te tino whakapono o te whakapono, Ko te tau o te ngakau i te hinengaro kino, Na ka horoia o tatou tinana ki te wai parakore (Hiperu 10:19-22)

Kotahi hoki te Atua, me tetahi takawaenga i waenga i te Atua me te tangata, Te tangata Karaiti Ihu; Na wai i tuku ia ia hei utu mo te katoa, Hei whakaatu i te waa tika (1 Timoti 2:5-6)

Ko Ihu Karaiti te huarahi, Te Tika, me te ora. Jesus made the way through the cross and His blood. No reira, the people that by faith in Christ are born again in Him, may come boldly before the Father. (Aue. Hone 14:6, Epeha 2:18; 3:12).

The new man doesn’t need the mediation of angels and/or doesn’t need angels to communicate with God

Jesus Christ is the Mediator of the New Covenant. The new man received the Holy Spirit and is connected with God the Father and Jesus Christ; te Word. Kahore he mea, kaore he tangata, not even angels, stands in between.

Tāngata, who walk in the vanity of their minds and are puffed up

Heoi ano, He iwi, who don’t know the Word personally and are ignorant about the truth of God. He tangata ano hoki, who stand in the pulpit, who don’t know the Word personally. They’re ignorant about the truth of God and therefore keep the people ignorant.

They may seem humble in the eyes of carnal man, because of their pious words and humanistic behaviour,. Heoi ano, they are not humble in the eyes of God.

They walk in the vanity of their minds and exalt themselves above God, by putting their words above the words of God and preaching human doctrines and carnal philosophies instead of believing and preaching the redemptive work and inheritance in Christ and walking in it.

Instead of repenting and walking after the Spirit in the truth of God, they remain carnal. They live as enemies of the cross in subjection to the powers, nga rangatira, and authorities of darkness and are inspired and led by them.

They don’t believe in the perfect redemptive work of Christ and don’t walk in the authority of Christ. Engari, they walk in false humbleness and deny by their words and walk the greatness, mana, and the work of God, the blood and the cross and deny Jesus Christ.

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels

Paul warned the saints to let no one beguile them of their reward and lose their salvation by voluntary humility and worshipping of angels.

Te ahua o te Paipera me te irava Paipera Matiu 24:24 E ara te maha o nga kupu teka me nga poropiti teka e whakaatu ana i nga tohu me nga mea whakamiharo, me nga mea whakamiharo

Paul commanded them to stay faithful and obedient to Jesus Christ, te upoko o te Hahi. He commanded them to walk in His commandments instead of walking after the traditions of man, the rudiments of this world, and according to what carnal people beheld in the supernatural.

Paul commanded them to walk after the Spirit and not return to the flesh.

Because there were many false teachers, Ko wai te kikokiko. They walked from their state as the old man in false humility and worshipped angels.

They were puffed up by their carnal minds and exalted themselves above others because of what they beheld in the supernatural. But they didn’t walk after the will of God and not held the Head of the Church, Ihu Karaiti, me ana whakahau.

By faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to the Head, the church receives the increase of God

It’s only Jesus Christ from which all the Body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increased with the increase of God. Therefore it’s only by faith in Jesus Christ and submission and obedience to Him and His commandments that the Church receives the increase of God.

But these false teachers placed the angels, who are servants of God, I runga ake ia Ihu Karaiti. They denied the redemption of man and the reconciliation and unity between the new man and God. They preached all kinds of nga whakaakoranga teka, whereby they deprived the saints of their salvation.

The lies and temptations of the devil

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works (2 Koriniti 11:14-15)

The devil has not changed and his lies and tactics are still the same. Kia aroha mai, they still work. All because of the ignorance of Christians and deviating from the words of God, ko te pono.

Ko te raiona me te irava Paipera 1 Peter 5-8 Kia mataara, whakanoatia ana e to hoariri te rewera, e rite ana ki te raiona e hamama ana e ia

Ko te rewera (and his angels) come as an angel of light with his lies, which are wrapped up in a little bit of truth.

He comes through dreams and visions and tries to tempt believers and convince them of his truth.

Kia aroha mai, many people fall for his lies. They believe his lies above the Truth of God because of a Te kore o te mohiotanga o te Kupu a te Atua.

And so they walk according to the words of the devil in his wil instead of walking according to the words of God in His will.

There are many false doctrines that derived from the flesh through inspiration of evil spirits through dreams, whakakitenga, etc. They led many Christians astray and still lead many Christians astray.

Nga Ture teka, which are wrapped up in a little bit of truth and are indiscernible from the truth of God to the old man. And because many people stay the old man, many false doctrines are allowed into the church.

Kei mamingatia koutou e te tangata ki ta koutou utu!

Whawhaitia te whawhai pai o te whakapono, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses (1 Timoti 6:12)

I will give thee a crown of life (Whakakitenga 2:10)

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, maku ano koe e tiaki i te haora o te whakamatautauranga, ka puta mai ki runga ki te ao katoa, hei whakamatautau i te hunga e noho ana i te whenua. Nana, Ka tere ahau: kia mau ki tau, kei tangohia tou karauna e tetahi (Whakakitenga 3:10-11)

But the Church is supposed to be spiritually awake and stay watchful. The Church should remain obedient to the Word and not deviate from the Word. Because only through submission and obedience to the Head Jesus Christ; te Word, you shall receive your reward.

No reira, let no one beguile you of your reward and deprive your salvation. But stay in Christ and through obedience to Him stand on the Word.

'Kia tote o te whenua'

Ka pai ano koe
