Ministers of flaming fire

If Christians don’t become ministers of flaming fire and not be cast into the field of God’s harvest, millions of people will be cast into the eternal flaming fire of the lake of fire on the Day of Judgment. If you have become born again in Christ and have become a son of God (males and females), you have become a servant of God, a servant of Christ, and ought to be a minister of flaming fire. But what does it mean to be a minister of flaming fire? What does the Bible say about ministers of flaming fire?

Ministers of flaming fire have been made righteous and walk in righteousness

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Roma 6:17-23)

1 Hone 2:29 If you know that He is righteous every one that does righteousness is born of Him

The ministers of Christ are as flames of fire. They have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus Christ and through regeneration in Christ have the Holy Spirit.

Te Wairua Tapu, Who abides in them, is holy and righteous just like God the Father and God the Son and therefore they shall walk in holiness and righteousness doing righteous works and bear the fruit of the Spirit.

They don’t belong to the devil and his kingdom anymore and shall not serve sin and death anymore, because they are dead to sin. Therefore they shall not exalt themselves and put themselves above God by walking in pride according to their own words, hiahia, and the lusts and desires of the flesh.

They are workers of righteousness and therefore they shall not lie, covet other people’s possessions, steal, commit idolatry, use God’s Name in vain, get involved with (sexual) uncleanness, commit adultery, moepuku, whakarere, excessive drinking, and eating, etc., but they shall love God above all and their neighbor as themselves (Panuitia hoki: 'Do you love God above all?'a'What does it mean to love your neighbour as yourself?')

The fire of God is not a feeling, but calls to sanctification and action

He maha nga tangata, who associate the Holy Spirit and the holy fire of God and being on fire for God with an energy and a feeling, instead of a Person and holiness, righteousness, sanctification (purification), judgment of God, and the call to action.

They want to experience the fire of God and feel and enjoy this so-called fire in their flesh, which they stirrup within them through natural means, tikanga, and rituals, like for example music, singing, mantras, false meditation, fire tunnels, etc.

But the holy fire of God is not a feeling, and therefore it can’t be felt.

The fire is one of the symbols that is used to represent the nature and the character of God the Father, God the Son; the Living Word, and God the Holy Spirit and represents the holiness, righteousness, sanctification (purification), and the judgment of God.

It’s a spiritual holy fire that can’t be felt but can be seen in the natural realm by the changes in a person’s life and the righteous walk of a person.

Because the holy fire enlightens the dark inner corners of the heart and exposes the evil works. The holy fire of God cleanses, purifies, refines, and eliminates the impurities in the life of a person, if the person allows the purification of the holy fire, submits to God and His Word and follows His Word, and does His will (Panuitia hoki: ‘The process of sanctification a ‘Put off the old man').

God is a consuming fire

Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the Lord your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the Lord thy God hath forbidden thee. For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:23-24)

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire (Hebrew 12:28-29)

E kii ana te Kupu, that God is a consuming fire. God is a holy and righteous God and can’t have communion with sin and iniquity and hates disobedience and lawlessness.

God is a God of His Word and acts according to His Word. What God says, shall come to pass, despite people’s opinions and findings.

Thy throne o God is for ever and ever Hebrew 1:8

God’s Word is the truth and stands forever and no one can change that.

Thankfulness, reverence, and Godly fear for our Almighty God are hard to find these days.

Instead of believers submitting themselves to God and His Word and are thankful and have reverence and a fear of God aka a great awe for God and therefore walk after His will and His commandments, many believers treat God like a sugar daddy, who must submit to them and fulfill their wishes and will and the lusts and desires of their flesh and therefore do and give what they say and want.

There is hardly any reverence and fear for God and therefore the wickedness increases and many people become apostate and have become lukewarm for Jesus Christ and His Kingdom and compromise.

But God is a consuming fire and if His holy fire doesn’t take possession of man during this life on earth then after life on earth the fire shall take possession of man (Panuitia hoki: ‘The baptism in fire').

The Word is as fire

And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them. Wherefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, nana, I will make My words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them (Heremaia 5:13-14)

Is not My word like as a fire? e ai ta Ihowa; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? (Heremaia 23:29)

I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division (Ruka 12:49)

Just as God is a consuming fire, His Word is also as fire. The words of God are holy and righteous and are spirit and life and condemn sin and get rid of evil and iniquity.

Just like the prophets, who belonged to God, spoke the words of God, which were as fire and condemned sin and confronted and got rid of evil and called to repentance and to return to God, Jesus Christ the Living Word also came to the earth to send fire on the earth by doing the will of God, dealing with evil and calling God’s people to repentance and to sin no more.

The Word of God is a burning fire in the heart

I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me. For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the Lord was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily. Then I said, I will not make mention of Him, nor speak any more in His Name. But His word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay (Heremaia 20:7-9)

Jeremiah was in derision and the people mocked him. He was persecuted and endured many hardships, because of the word of God, just like all the other prophets of God, who were faithful to Him and spoke His words.

The word of God was in his heart as a burning fire, whereby Jeremiah was weary with forbearing and could not contain. Jeremiah couldn’t do anything else than speak the words of God instead of being silent or speaking words that the people wanted to hear.

Just like in Jeremiah the words of God were in his heart as a burning fire, the words of God were also in the hearts of the other prophets as a burning fire and the words of God are still a burning fire in the hearts of the sons of God, who belong to God and are His ministers of righteousness.

Ministers of flaming fire don’t compromise but speak the truth of God

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry (2 Timothy 4:1-5)

Ministers of flaming fire have the Word in them and don’t speak according to what people want to hear and don’t please the itching ears of the hearers, but they speak the words and the truth of God, which can be hard, confronting, unpleasant, uncomfortable and may come across as judgmental and considered as unloving.

God's Word is a consuming fire

Although the world and ‘believers’ who belong to the world consider their words as hard, confronting, unloving, judgmental, racist, etc. they speak after the will of God the truth of God in love. Because they know what will happen with sinners, who won’t repent of their sin and are disobedient to the will of God.

They know where sinners will go to after their lives on earth and after the Day of Judgment, which is hell. And they don’t want anyone to be lost and be cast into the eternal lake of fire and burn forever. Just like their Father, Who doesn’t want anyone to perish but that everyone be saved (1 Timothy 2:4-6, 2 Pita 3:9).

No reira, they will speak the truth of God to sinners and call them to repentance in order to save them, despite the consequences.

Many churches don’t preach the judgment of God and hell anymore, because it makes the people uncomfortable and frightens them. The people rather listen to fables, which please their flesh and cause pleasant feelings, than listen to the truth of God. They only want to experience God in their flesh and feel ‘God’s presenceand have a good time in church.

But hell exists and the Day of Judgment is a reality and shall come regardless of what people believe and say and regardless of the false doctrines and fables of man that are preached. No one is able to escape the Day of Judgment.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because He hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He hath ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead (Nga Mahi 17:30-31).

Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power (2 Thessalonians 1:6-9)

The ministers of Christ have a responsibility and are obligated to preach the whole gospel and the whole truth of God, instead of preaching a partial truth and a man-made gospel, which is not a gospel.

People find it normal and don’t mind watching terrifying horror movies, horrible, cruel and violent crimes and murder series and movies, and all that other junk on television in which sin and death play the lead. But they don’t consider it normal and do mind when you speak about hell and the Day of Judgment, because that makes them uncomfortable and scares them?

Ministers of flaming fire act according to the Word

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, He pono, pono, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do: for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth Him all things that Himself doeth: and He will shew Him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom He will (Hone 5:19-21)

The ministers of Christ are flames of fire and speak and act according to the Word. They speak the holy and righteous words of God and speak and act according to what the Word and the Holy Spirit tell them. Just like Jesus, Who was yielded to the Father and spoke the words of the Father and did what He had seen His Father do.

Ministers of flaming fire shall suffer and be persecuted for the Kingdom of God

Then spake Jesus again unto them, e korero ana, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life (Hone 8:12)

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matiu 5:14-16)

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also (Hone 15:18-20)

unjust man is an abomination to the just and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked

Those, who belong to God and are His sons shall be the light of the world, rite tonu ki a Ihu, and shall walk holy and righteous after the will of God and shall be persecuted for Jesus Christ’s sake and their walk and righteous works.

The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil (Hone 7:7)

And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on Me; Of righteousness, because I go to My Father, and ye see Me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged (Hone 16:8-11)

Te Wairua Tapu, the Spirit of truth, abides in them and shall reprove the world of sin, righteousness, and of judgment.

Na tera, they shall be abandoned, hated, and persecuted by the people who belong to the world and are not willing to repent and can’t be in their presence, because they are confronted with their sinful nature and their sins.

But there will also be people, who belong to the world, but through the conviction of their sinful nature and sin by the Holy Spirit will repent and give their lives to Jesus.

Therefore it’s important to continue and keep standing on the Word and keep walking by faith in the truth after the will of God in holiness and righteousness despite the wickedness, hatred, false accusation, temptations, resistance, and persecutions of the world.

Let the sons of God be (wairua) flames of fire, so that many people will be saved from the flames of fire.
