Now therefore hearken unto me, O julle kinders: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, en wees wys, and refuse it not (Spreuke 8:32-33)
Jesus speaks to the children, to the sons of God, which we have become in Him. By the sacrifice of Jesus, en deur Sy opstanding, ons het geword, through faith in Him, and by regeneration, Seuns van God. We are not sons of man anymore, but we have become Seuns van God.
Luister na Jesus
Jesus speaks to the sons and commands them to listen to Him. Ons, as kinders van God, ought to listen to Jesus; die woord. We should keep His ways, wat beteken dat ons moet onderhou Sy gebooie, and not turn away from them.
Don’t refuse Jesus’ instruction
Because of pride, many times people refuses the instruction of Jesus (die woord), because they think they know it better or have their own opinion, which doesn’t line up with the Word.
But if you want to stay in Him, then you will hear His instruction and apply His instruction in your life. Because only then, shall you become wise, and walk in wisdom. Dit is nie die wysheid van die wêreld nie. Want die wysheid van die wêreld is vir God dwaasheid. But it shall be the wisdom of God, that goes beyond all wisdom of man. But you shall only become wise, if you hear His instruction, and apply it in your life.
