What are the ten commandments of God?

The eye; the light of the body

Confess or deny Jesus before people

Clean and unclean
Not that which goeth into the mouth defiles a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defiles a man. Whatsoever enters in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, Moorde, egbreker, hoste, diefstalle, valse getuie, godslasteringe: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashed hands defiles not a man (Matteus 15:12, Matteus 17-20, Merk 7:15-23)
“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks” (Lukas 6:45)
Jesus volg, and dying to ‘self’

Disobedience to Jesus Christ

Gehoorsaamheid aan God
“For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, en suster, and mother” (Matteus 12:50)

The great commission
“Verily, voorwaar, Ek sê vir julle, Hy wat in My glo, die werke wat Ek doen, sal Hy ook doen; en groter werke as dit sal hy doen; omdat Ek na My Vader gaan. En wat julle ook al in my Naam sal vra, dit sal ek doen, sodat die Vader in die Seun verheerlik kan word. As julle iets in my Naam vra, I will do it” (John 14:12-14)

The conclusion
Jesus has given many more commandments and promises. But as you can see, Jesus didn’t annul and destroy the commandments of the Lord God. Jesus commanded to keep the commandments of the Father and to do His will. Jesus even adjusted and ‘sharpened’ some commandments of God and added commandments.
Jesus het gesê, that on two commandments the whole law of the prophets hangs.
The first commandment is to Love the Lord God, with your whole heart, siel, en verstand.
The second commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself.
As jy hou these two commandments, then you shall fulfill the whole Wet van God.
Jesus het gesê: “love one another; soos Ek jou liefgehad het, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:34-35). (Let wel: Jesus het bedoel a righteous love en nie a false love)
Die vader, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost bear witness of Each Other. They’llnooit contradict Each Other. They have the same character and nature. They’re connected with Each Other and are One; a Unity.
When the Lord God gave His commandments; the ten commandments, and all the other commandments, to Moses, Jesus (die woord) and the Holy Ghost were present. The commandments of Jesus Christ are of the same mind as the commandments of God. Jesus Christ is the Word of God and that shall never change!
God’s love towards people
You can only see and experience the great love of the Lord God in the moral part of the law; in Sy gebooie, when you become a nuwe skepping; gebore uit water en Gees. Want net dan, you shall be able to see, verstaan, begryp, and experience the (geestelike) things of the (geestelike) Koninkryk van God.
Wanneer jy Jesus liefhet, you will keep the commandments of Jesus Christ (wat die gebooie van God insluit).
Jesus het gesê: “For I have not spoken of Myself; Maar die vader wat my gestuur het, Hy het my 'n gebod gegee, Wat ek moet sê, En wat ek moet praat. En ek weet dat sy gebod die lewe ewig is: Wat ek ook al praat, Selfs soos die vader vir my gesê het, so I speak” (John 12:49-50)
Ek wil u graag aanmoedig, to look into these scriptures. Vind uit, and see for yourself, daardie Jesus nooit annulled, nor destroyed the ten commandments. Jesus Christ fulfilled the law in the power of the Holy Ghost. En jy, die nuwe skepping, have the same Spirit. Therefore you are also able to fulfill the law. His law and His commandments are written in your heart and if you really love Him, then you will submit to Him and keep the commandments of Jesus and do what He has commanded you to do.
