The whole creation is created by God, IZwi laKhe, noMoya oNgcwele. Nothing has been created outside God’s Word. In the whole creation, God’s Word reigns, and His Word and His righteousness shall stand and reign forever (Oh. Genesis 1:1, Amahubo 119:89, Kwabase-Efesu 3:9, AbaseKolose 1:15-16). The times may change and laws and regulations may change, but nothing and no one can change God’s Word. Everything began with God’s Word and shall end with God’s Word. Because on the great Day of Judgment, God’s Word has the final word and shall judge everyone, according to their words and works. NgoSuku Lokwahlulela, it’s all about two things: what did you do with God’s Word and what didn’t you do with God’s Word.
God spoke about the Day of Judgment
Ngoba, bheka, the Lord will come with fire, and with His chariots like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by His sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many (Isaya 66:15-16)
In the Old Testament God spoke about the Day of Judgment through the mouths of His prophets. God revealed the future to His people by His prophets and He didn’t hide anything from them. Because God is not a mysterious God, who keeps secrets and hides everything, although some think He does.
God has revealed through His Word the end of the last days, what will happen with the earth and the people, and the coming of the new heaven and the new earth.
But His words are hidden for the natural carnal man, who is unspiritual and is blinded by sin.
In the Old Covenant God made Intando yakhe, Izindlela Zakhe futhi Imicabango yakhe known by giving the law to His people.
Labo, who loved God yielded to Him and His will (umthetho) and considered His law, not as a set of dusty old fashioned legalistic rules to live by and legalistic bondage.
Kunalokho, they considered His law as precious, their compass, and the power of God in their lives (Funda futhi: IBhayibheli; the Compass in life).
Although they were trapped in the flesh, they lived after this precious possession, and therefore they knew God’s ways and God’s throughs and for a large part, they knew what would happen in the future, including the Day of Judgment.
Ngoba ngoSuku Lokwahlulela, everyone shall stand in front of the Throne and will be confronted with God and His righteousness and nobody will be able to escape.
This Day of Judgment shall be a day on which the people shall give an account of their lives and be rewarded after their works.
God said about the Day of Judgment the following:
Thine hand shall find out all Thine enemies: Thy right hand shall find out those that hate Thee. Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of Thine anger: the Lord shall swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them. Their fruit shalt Thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men. (Amahubo 21:8-10)
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice. Before the Lord: for He cometh, for He cometh to judge the earth: He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with His truth (Amahubo 96:11-13)
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Mesabeni uNkulunkulu, futhi ugcine imiyalo yakhe: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil (Ecclesiastics 12:13-14)
(There are many more Scriptures about the Day of Judgment, Ngokwesibonelo, Isaya 13; 61:2, UHezekeli 7, UJoweli 3 and Zephaniah 1 futhi 2)
Jesus spoke about the Day of Judgment
Kodwa ngithi kini, Ukuthi lonke igama eliyize abantu bazokhulunywa ngabantu, bazalandisa ngakho ngosuku lokwahlulela. Ngokuba ngamazwi akho uyakulungisiswa, nangamazwi akho uyakulahlwa (Mathewu 12:36-37)
Jesus didn’t come to the earth to judge the world, kodwa ukusindisa umhlaba. Jesus preached and brought the Kingdom of God on earth. Jesus spoke the words of God and called the people to repentance and accomplished God’s work of redemption for indoda ewile, Ngomsebenzi wakhe wokuhlenga, fallen man would have the ability to be redeemed from the power of the kingdom of darkness by dying to the flesh in which sin reigns and become a son of God.
Because of God’s perfect work of redemption, no one would have an excuse on the Day of Judgment and Jesus shall judge in righteousness everyone according to their words and works and reward everyone, with eternal life or eternal punishment; the second death (Mathewu 16:27, AmaRoma 2:6-9, 1 AbaseKorinte 3:13, IsAmbulo 22:12 (Funda futhi: Will Jesus be your Savior or Judge?))
Although Jesus didn’t come to judge the world, Jesus didn’t approve of the sins and iniquities of God’s people. But Jesus confronted the rebels of God’s people, including the (ezenkolo) abaholi, with their words and works, wababizela ekuphendukeni.
Since Jesus was the reflection of God and a Representative of the Kingdom of God, Jesus didn’t keep the things about the last days, eternal judgment, and hell a secret. But Jesus spoke openly about these things.
Ngenxa yeqiniso, that God’s people were not born again and unspiritual and still belonged to the generation of the old man, Jesus spoke to them in parables.
Jesus said the following about the Day of Judgment:
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Ngiqinisile ngithi kini, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city (Mathewu 10:14-15)
Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, iBetsayida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. Kodwa ngithi kini, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. Futhi wena, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. Kodwa ngithi kini, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee (Mathewu 11:20-24)
Also I say unto you, Noma ngubani ongivuma phambi kwabantu, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth Me before men shall be denied before the angels of God (Luka 12:8-9)
(There are many more Scriptures, where Jesus spoke about the Day of Judgement, Ngokwesibonelo, Luka 12:35-48; 19:11-27)
The Holy Spirit speaks about the Day of Judgment
Just like Jesus spoke the same words as the Father about the Day of Judgment, the Holy Spirit speaks also the same words about the Day of Judgment through the saints; indalo entsha. In the Book of Hebrew eternal judgment is mentioned as one of the principles of the doctrine of Christ (IsiHebheru 6:1-3). Therefore the Church should know about the Day of Judgment and what will happen on that day. Because one thing is certain, the Day of Judgment will come and no one will be able to escape from God’s eternal judgment.
The representatives of Jesus Christ, who had become a new creation in Jesus Christ and in whom the Holy Spirit dwelled, spoke about the Day of Judgment and said the following:
Futhi izikhathi zalokhu ukungazi uNkulunkulu washalazelela; kodwa manje uyala abantu bonke ezindaweni zonke ukuba baphenduke: Ngoba umisile usuku, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom He hath ordained; unike bonke abantu isiqinisekiso, ngokuthi wamvusa kwabafileyo (IzEnzo 17:30-31)
Okubonisa umsebenzi woMthetho wabhalwa ezinhliziyweni zabo, Unembeza wabo Ubuye Ubufakazi, nemicabango yabo kusho ukuthini ngenkathi imangalela noma ingenza okuthile komunye nomunye;) Ngosuku uNkulunkulu azahlulela izimfihlo zabantu ngoJesu Kristu ngokwezwi lami (AmaRoma 2:15-16)
For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ (Rom 14:10)
Wherefore we labour, lokho, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him. Ngoba sonke simelwe ukubonakala phambi kwesihlalo sokwahlulela sikaKristu; ukuze yilowo nalowo amukele okwenziwe ngomzimba wakhe, njengalokho akwenzileyo, kungaba kuhle noma kubi (2 AbaseKorinte 5:9-10)
Futhi njengoba kumiselwe abantu ukuba bafe kanye, kodwa emva kwalokhu ukwahlulelwa (IsiHebheru 9:27)
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities (2 UPetru 2:9-10)
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men (2 UPetru 3:7)
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world (1 UJohane 4:17)
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, ethi, Bheka, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, lokubonisa bonke abangamesabi uNkulunkulu phakathi kwabo ngazo zonke izenzo zabo zokungamesabi uNkulunkulu abazenzile, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him. Laba ngababubuli, abakhonondi, behamba ngezinkanuko zabo; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, ukuba nabantu besilisa ngokutuswa ngenxa yenzuzo (Jude 14-16)
Ngase ngibona isihlalo sobukhosi esikhulu esimhlophe, lalowo ohlezi phezu kwalo, obuso bakhe kwabaleka umhlaba nezulu; kabafunyanwanga indawo yabo. Ngabona abafileyo, ezincane nezinkulu, yima phambi kukaNkulunkulu; izincwadi zavulwa: nenye incwadi yavulwa, okuyincwadi yokuphila: nabafileyo bahlulelwa ngalokho okulotshiwe ezincwadini, ngokwemisebenzi yabo. Ulwandle lwakhipha abafileyo ababekulo; nokufa nesihogo kwakhipha abafileyo ababekukho: bahlulelwa yilowo nalowo njengokwemisebenzi yakhe. Ukufa nesihogo kwaphonswa echibini lomlilo. Lokhu kungukufa kwesibili. Ongafunyanwanga elotshiwe encwadini yokuphila waphonswa echibini lomlilo (IsAmbulo 20:11-15)
God’s Word shall judge everyone
UJesu wakhala wathi, Okholwa kimi, akakholwa Kimi, kodwa kuye oNgithumileyo. Ongibonayo Mina ubona ongithumileyo. Ngiza ukukhanya emhlabeni, Ukuthi yilowo nalowo okholwa kimi akufanele ahlale ebumnyameni. Futhi uma umuntu ezwa amazwi aMi, futhi ningakholwa, Angimahluleli: ngoba kangizanga ukuthi ngahlulele umhlaba, kodwa ukusindisa umhlaba. Ongalayo Mina, futhi akawemukeli amazwi Ami, unomahlulelayo: izwi engilikhulumile, nguyena oyakumahlulela ngosuku lokugcina. Ngokuba angikhulumanga ngokwami; kodwa uBaba ongithumileyo, Wanginika umyalo, okufanele ngikusho, nalokho okufanele ngikukhulume. Futhi ngiyazi ukuthi umyalo wakhe ungukuphila okuphakade: ngakho-ke lokhu engikukhulumayo, njengalokhu uBaba asho kimi, ngakho ngiyakhuluma (UJohane 12:44-50)
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent Him. Ngiqinisile, ngempela, ngithi kini, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, unokuphila okuphakade, futhi ngeke bakwazi ukulahlwa; kepha udlulile ekufeni waya ekuphileni. Ngiqinisile, ngempela, ngithi kini, The hour is coming, futhi manje, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; kanjalo uyiphile neNdodana ibe nokuphila kuyo; And hath given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of man. (UJohane 5:22-27)
When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory: And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, njengomalusi ehlukanisa izimvu ezimbuzini (Mathewu 25:31-32)
And He commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is He which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead (IzEnzo 10:42)
Ngiyakukhokhisa ngakho phambi kukaNkulunkulu, Futhi iNkosi uJesu Kristu, Ngubani ozokwahlulela okusheshayo nabafileyo ngokubonakala kwakhe nombuso wakhe (2 UThimothewu 4:1)
uJesu; God’s Word is seated at the right hand of God and is appointed as Judge by God, to judge everyone according to his words and works.
Amazwi kaNkulunkulu, which were spoken by God through the mouths of His prophets in the Old Covenant and by Jesus; God’s Word and in the New Covenant are still spoken by the Holy Spirit through the mouths of the saints; indalo entsha, testify of God’s righteousness and call the people, who live in isono, ekuphendukeni nasekususweni kwesono.
Every person may decide to either believe and receive the words of God and phenduka and become born again by faith in Jesus Christ; Gods Word and live in obedience to His will and therefore receive eternal life or to reject the words of God and live in ukungezwa to His will and be rejected and judged by God’s Word on the Day of Judgment and receive eternal death.
The truth of God is considered as sowing fear
God’s Word stands forever and His righteousness shall judge the world. Therefore it’s important to know His Word so that you know His ways and His thoughts and don’t be surprised on the Day of Judgment.
Ngeshwa, many believers are not familiar with God’s will, Umbuso wakhe, izikhathi zokuphela, uSuku Lokwahlulela, nesihogo. This is mainly because in many churches people have become the center instead of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God. Therefore there are hardly any sermons about the Day of Judgment. Since sermons about the end times, the Day of Judgment and hell are considered by many as sermons that ‘sow fear’ ezimpilweni zabantu. And people don’t want to be frightened. Okungenani, the flesh doesn’t want that.
And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. And as he reasoned of righteousness, ukugxila, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee (IzEnzo 24:24-25)
The same thing happened in the life of Paul. When Paul spoke to Felix and his wife about faith in Christ, everything was fine.
But when Paul began to speak about righteousness, ukugxila (ukuzithiba), and judgment to come, Felix trembled and instead he repented, he sent Paul away.
The same behavior is present in many churches. Away with the guilt complex and sowing fear, the flesh wants to stay alive and doesn’t want to die.
Many carnal believers don’t want to hear negative things and listen to sermons, -phi, Ngokusho kwabo, sow fear. Okukakhulukazi, if these sermons are about the devil, isono, izikhathi zokuphela, uSuku Lokwahlulela, nesihogo, and confront them with their responsibility and works and call them to change their lives.
The flesh only wants to hear positive things and motivational words, which are focused upon ‘self’ and caress the ego of people and feed the flesh and promote a prosperous life and acceptance by the world and unity with the world on earth. The flesh wants to experience pleasant feelings and enjoy ‘God’s presence’.
And so the gospel of Jesus Christ is defiled and an image of Jesus Christ is created, which doesn’t correspond with the uJesu Kristu wangempela; IZwi LikaNkulunkulu (Funda futhi: UJesu Uveza AmaKristu Okungaphansi).
This new age Jesus is not created by the words of God, but by the words of people, okuvela emizweni yabo, imizwelo, and findings and he reigns in the lives of many believers, who think they live godly lives.
Jesus didn’t speak the words, which are spoken in many churches
But the true Jesus Christ has never spoken the words, which are spoken today by many believers, including leaders, emasontweni amaningi. Jesus didn’t promise the things, which are preached and promised in many churches.
The image of this new age Jesus, which is created and entered the church because of all the occult influence has to go and leave the Church!
The true umusa futhi ulungile uthando kaNkulunkulu, in which Jesus Christ, iNdodana kaNkulunkulu ophilayo, walked in, don’t approve of sin and don’t compromise with the world, false doctrines in churches and other religions that contradict the words of God and deny Jesus Christ, for the sake of amanga ubunye.
Abantu abaningi, who live today wouldn’t consider the love in which Jezus walked in as true love. Since this love, in which Jesus walked in, did the opposite of what the world considers as love.
This love wasn’t a humanistic love and didn’t compromise with the flesh, but died to ‘self’ and the flesh.
This love didn’t compromise with sin and didn’t bow for sin, but yielded to God and stayed faithful to the words and the will of God. This love gave His life, carried the sins and punishment for sin at the cross, confronted death, Ukufa okunqobile, and rose from the dead.
The true Jesus Christ was born of God and represented the righteousness of God and therefore Jesus spoke hard words to the people and wababizela ekuphendukeni
Jesus didn’t keep the end times, eternal judgment, and hell a secret, but He spoke openly about it.
Jesus didn’t speak pleasant words, which the people wanted to hear, but Jesus spoke the truth and preached the will of His Father, uMbuso kaNkulunkulu, nokulunga Kwakhe. Jesus did everything in the Igama likaYise and the power of the Holy Spirit and therefore He demonstrated the highest authority and power of God and His Kingdom on earth.
God’s Word has the final word
Jesus knew the truth and therefore He warned the people and called the people to repentance. Jesus wasn’t afraid to speak about the Day of Judgment, because He knew what would happen if the people would believe the lies of the devil above the truth of God and live according to the words of the devil instead of the words of God. Therefore Jesus exposed the lies of the devil and warned the people with the truth of God.
If Jesus is our Example and the Holy Spirit abides in us and speaks the same words like Jesus, shouldn’t we preach His words, okuyiqiniso? Instead of preaching half-truths and false doctrines, which derive from personal and/or supernatural experiences?
Everything revolves around God’s Word, Who represents the will of God and His righteousness and is the truth.
Ngakho-ke, let us gqoka umuntu omusha, who is created after the image of God and become workers of righteousness, who live holy lives after the will of God and preach His words and His righteousness. So that Jesus Christ is exalted and the Father is honored by our lives and many people will repent and be saved by faith and regeneration in Him.
Because as long as you preach lies and live like the world, you will not be able to save people and redeem them from the lies of the devil and the power of the kingdom of darkness and transfer them into the Kingdom of God, since you are blinded yourself and walk in darkness.
Only the truth of God’s Word will reprove the world of sin and call the people to repentance and redeem them from the lies of the devil and the power of the kingdom of darkness through regeneration in Him. So that those, who are born again in Him and live according to His will be rewarded with eternal life on the Day of Judgment when God’s Word shall have the final word in everyone’s life.
