For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it (Ohabolana 8:11)
Jesus says, that if you receive instruction and knowledge of God’s Word, you shall get wisdom. This wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things, that may be desired in the world. When you find the Word, you won’t have to look any further. Because when you find the Word; Jesosy, you have found the Treasure you were looking for.
How precious is wisdom
When you study the Word, you will receive knowledge and instruction, and get wisdom. When you possess wisdom, you shall be satisfied. You shall know and understand how precious the wisdom of God is.
Solomon possessed wisdom, he knew the value of wisdom. When he had the opportunity to ask God anything he wanted, he chose wisdom.
Solomon didn’t choose money, silver, gold, rubies, kingdoms, sns. but he chose wisdom.
During the time, that he was faithful to God, he walked in wisdom.
But when Solomon left the words of God and went his own way; when he walked after his own desires, and lusts of his flesh, the wisdom of God left him, and Solomon went down in ‘poverty’ (Vakio koa ‘The way to destruction').
Many people want to gain wisdom, and be wise, but often look in the wrong places. Only the Word of God, possesses all the wisdom, which every person on this earth needs.
