Where did the Seed go?

In most modern Bible translations, the seed has been replaced by offspring. But why has this happened? Where did the Seed go? Because we all know, that the seed plays a significant role in the Bible. Everything has its origin in the Seed: Jesus Cristo.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel (Gênese 3:15 KJV)

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel (Gênese 3:15 NIV)

The first prophecy regarding the coming of Jesus Christ

God refers in Genesis 3:15 to the Seed; His Son Jesus Christ. His Son would bruise the head of the devil. God doesn’t refer to the offspring, because all offspring comes out of women. But God referred specifically to the Seed: Jesus Cristo.

By replacing the seed, the first prophecy, regarding the coming of the Messiah Jesus Christ, has been removed.

Vou colocar inimizade entre você e a mulher, entre a tua semente e a sua semente

Em Gênesis 12:7, God refers again to the Seed; Jesus Cristo:

And the Lord appeared unto Abram, e disse, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him.

How do we know, that this seed refers to Jesus Christ? Because in Galatians 3:16, it is written:

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ (Gálatas 3:16)

The promise referred to the Seed: Jesus Cristo, and not to the offspring. By changing the seed to offspring, a second prophecy about the vinda do Messias Jesus Cristo, has been removed from the Word of God.

The seed is the Word: Jesus Cristo. We cannot erase the Seed out of the Word, because the Word is the Seed, and not the offspring.

The whole Bible; every word of God, is a Seed, that should be planted, in the life of the believers. That’s the reason, why Jesus spoke so many times in parables about the seed and the Sower.

The devil tries to rob the Truth

The devil doesn’t want to be reminded of his defeat; when the Seed bruised his head, at the cross on Calvary. The devil will give up. He will do everything, to eliminate Jesus from this world, so he can continue, with his plan of destruction.

He robs (spoils) little by little. If we don’t walk after the Spirit and be attentive in the spirit, then it won’t be long, before he will rob the truth, from everything that is holy, including the Bible; a palavra de Deus.

A Bíblia é um livro espiritual

A Bíblia; a palavra de Deus, has been translated many times, para que, according to many scholars, the Bible will become easier to read.

Mas a verdade é, that if you are not renascido, you will never be able to understand the Bible, despite the many translations. Because the Bible is a spiritual Book.

You can only understand the Bible, pelo Espírito Santo. God is Spirit, and His Word is Spirit.

É o espírito que vivifica; a carne não aproveita nada: as palavras que eu falo para você, eles são espírito, e eles são vida (John 6:63)

The Bible has been translated, into a so-called modern everyday language, that everyone can understand. Mas toda vez, the Word is being translated, essential truths, and words are being replaced, and therefore the truth is being affected (cankered) by evil.

Will the cross be replaced by a stake?

That’s exactly what happened, when the Seed was replaced by the offspring. And what will be next? A Cruz? Will the cross be replaced by a stake?

God knew, that this would happen, that’s why in the Book of Revelation it is written:

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book (Rev 22:18-19)

The Seed is the Word

In the first letter of Peter, we read about the corruptible and incorruptible seed, and not about the offspring:

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever (1 Peter 1:22-23)

Nascer de novo da semente incorruptível

Most Christians, including Theologians, são carnal and walk after the flesh, instead of walking after the Spirit.

That’s why many Bible translations will be translated according to the worldly wisdom of man (flesh; the carnal wisdom and knowledge), instead of the Spirit.

Because of this, many essential truths will get lost.

How many of these specialists, theologians, professors of literature, translators, doctors in Greek/Hebrew literature, etc., go out and preach the gospel, lay hands on the sick and cast out demons? How many of them, who adjust and change the Word of God, walk according to Jesus His commandments?

Portanto, let’s bring the Seed back into the Word. Let’s not talk about the offspring, but about the Seed; Jesus Cristo, o Cornerstone of our faith.

How do you know if a Bible translation is reliable?

That’s easy! Just go to Genesis 3:15, and look what is written; the Seed (Jesus Cristo) or the offspring (pessoas).
