Eaha te auraa no te pouri i te mahana e aita te ava'e e horo'a mai i to'na maramarama??

I roto i te Bible, i roto i te Bible, i roto i te Bible, 24:29, Te parau ra o Iesu, that immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Eaha te auraa o te reira? The spiritual darkness in the spirit realm shall become visible in the natural realm and shall cause that the elements and the powers of the heavens be shaken.

The darkness shall reign on earth

E pouri oioi noa te mahana i muri noa ' ' e i te ati o taua mau mahana ra, e eita te ava'e e horo'a i to'na maramarama, e e topa te mau fetia mai te ra'i mai, e e aueue te mau mana o te ra'i (Mataio 24:29)

Immediately after the tribulation, due to all the violence and evil (the sins and iniquities) and the increase of apostasy, the earth shall be covered in (ōtahi) aroha. The darkness shall reign for a period of time and shall become visible in the natural realm.

The light will not be present anymore, but due to sins and iniquitites of the people, death and sign reign on earth and darkness will dominate the earth.

When the darkness dominates the earth, the manifestations of these evil powers, tumu, dominions etc. will become worse and shall manifest in the natural realm. There shall be an increase of natural disasters, deathly diseases, Te mau ma'i pee, ha'api'iea, e tē vai atura.

All this will be the result of the people, who live in rebellion against the Word of God in sin. They will cause destructions in the lives of man and on this earth (A tai'o atoa: ‘Te hopoi mai nei te mau taata iino i ni'a ia ratou iho‘ e ‘Te ino e tae mai‘).

The terrible Day of the Lord

The Holy Spirit is the Author of the Bible. No reira, when Jesus spoke about His return and about the end of times, He spoke repeatedly, about what was aforementioned by the prophets in the Old Testament. For example, Isaiah, Ezekiela, Joel and Amos spoke prophetically about the end of times and the Day of the Lord:

Hi'o, the day of the LORD cometh, te riri e te riri u'ana, no te faaino i te fenua: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: E pouri te mahana i to'na haereraa, e eita te ava'e e faaanaana i to ' na maramarama (Isaiah 13:9-10)

E ia tiavaru ana'e au ia oe, E tapo'i au i te ra'i, e faapouri i te mau fetia; E tapo'i au i te mahana i te hoê kapua, e eita te ava'e e horo'a i to'na maramarama. E haapouri vau i te mau maramarama anaana atoa o te ra'i i ni'a ia oe, e tuu i te pouri i ni'a i to oe fenua, Te Atua(Ezekiela 32:7-8)

“E aueue te fenua i mua ia ratou; E ruru te ra'i”

E aueue te fenua i mua ia ratou; E ruru te ra'i: E pouri te mahana e te ava'e, e e faaore te mau fetia i to ratou anaana: And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? (Ioela 2:10-11)

E riro te mahana ei pouri, e te ava'e i roto i te toto, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come (Ioela 2:31)

The sun and the moon shall be darkened, e e faaore te mau fetia i to ratou anaana (Ioela 3:15)

They all saw and spoke about the great terrible Day of the Lord tend who could abide it?

The distress of nations

Before that terrible Day of the Lord, there shall be distress of nations. People shall flee, but they won’t feel save anywhere, because terrible things shall take place on the earth. The heavens shall be shaken; no place will be save for them. There will be such primal forces going on, that no man will be able to stop these.

The people shall curse God for everything that will take place. The effect of these natural disasters on man is written in Luke 21:

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Man’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken (Luka 21:25,26)

The Day of the Lord

Peter, full of the Holy Ghost, also preached about the Day of the Lord and described it exactly the way Jesus and the prophets did:

E riro te mahana ei pouri, e te ava'e i roto i te toto, hou a tae mai ai taua mahana rahi e te faahiahia o te Fatu ra: E e tupu mai te reira, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Ā'ati'a 2:20,21)

When Jesus revealed Himself to John on Patmos, Jesus showed John, what would take place in the last days.
Jesus showed John, what the Day of the Lord would look like. He showed him, what signs will take place before that day, i.e. the darkening of the sun:

The stars of heaven fell unto the earth, mai te tumu raau suke e faarue i to ' na mau suke aita i tae mai, ia aueuehia oia e te hoê mata'i puai. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.E te mau arii o te fenua, and the great man, and the rich man, e te mau raatira pahi, and the mighty man, e te mau taatiraa atoa, e te mau taata ti'amâ, ua huna ratou ia ratou iho i roto i te mau apoo e i roto i te mau ofai o te mau mou'a; tend said to the mountains and rocks, i ni'a ia tatou, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, e mai te riri: For the great day of his wrath is come; E ti'a i te taata ia ti'a? (Tō'o'a 6:13-17)

When did the darkness also came over the earth?

There was another moment, which is mentioned in the Bible, when the darkness came over the earth and the sun was darkened. It was the moment, that Jesus took all sins and iniquities of mankind upon Him and died on the cross:

It was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, ua parau oia, Metua tāne, into thy hands I command my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost (Luka 23:44-46)

Ua faaino Iesu i te mau faatereraa hau e te mau mana

When Jesus took ALL sins and iniquities upon Him, sin dominated and the earth was covered in darkness.

The earth was covered with darkness, the sun was darkened, all the light was gone, because the devil, fa'a'ōfa'i, tumu, dominions and powers dominated the earth at that moment. But it was not for long.

He spoiled principalities and powers, Ua faaooo oia ia ratou ma te mataitai, te upooti'a nei ratou i ni'a i te reira (Kolosa 2:15)

The separation between God and man came to an end, by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

His blood that was shed, had reconciled man back to God. E, the veil, that separated God from mankind was torn in the holy of holiest in the temple.

The time of the Old Covenant, the old Levitical priesthood was gone and the time of the New Covenant had come through Jesus Christ, Te Tahu'a Rahi e te Arii. By His blood that was shed for you and me, Jesus reconciled man back to God and restored the position of fallen mankind (A tai'o atoa: ‘Eaha te faaueraa a Melchezed?‘, ‘Te hau ta Iesu i faaho'i mai i rotopu i te taata i topa e te Atua‘ e ‘Ua faaho'i faahou mai Iesu i te ti'araa o te taata hi'a’).

The judgment of the earth

The earth shall be cursed, because it is defiled under the inhabitants because they have transgressed the laws, taui, ua pau i te fafauraa i te taime a pau. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, e te vai ra te reira i roto i te reira, therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few man left (Isaiah 24:5-6)

When we look at the judgment of the earth, God speaks about the many iniquities and sins that dominate. Man has brought judgment on the earth by themselves. Aha? Because they don’t live holy lives and don’t walk in the commandments of Jesus Christ; te parau, Ē. Instead they walk after their flesh in sin, fulfilling their lusts and desires. Therefore the earth is defiled.

Walking after the flesh instead of walking after the Spirit

E rave rahi atoa te mau taata e rave rahi, Hau, don’t walk according to the commandments of God and Jesus Christ anymore. But they walk according to their own will, te moni. E mea pae tino ratou e te pee nei ratou i te tino, doing what they want, Matapuna, and what pleases them.

They are led by their own opinions, Ō'opa, and experiences instead of being led by God’s opinions, commandments and thoughts. By violating the laws of God and by changing the ordinances, many have left the everlasting covenant in Jesus Christ.

The sins shall increase and shall reach the heaven and God shall remember her iniquities.

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities (Tō'o'a 18:5)

Ia ho'i mai Iesu, the earth shall be filled with darkness

Ia ho'i mai Iesu, the earth shall be filled with darkness. E, the sins shall banish all the light; the sun shall be darkened, the moon shall not shine, the stars shall fall out of heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Terrible natural disasters will take place upon the earth. When we see this happening, we know that the Day of the Lord is near.
