The New Year has begun, and I would like to wish you all a blessed 2015!
When family, Arkadaşlar, churches or Christian organisations send their New Year’s wishes, they always write something like: ‘this shall be a year of Jubilee’, ‘it shall be a year of the breakthrough’ or ‘supernatural miracles will come your way’.
Birkaç yıl önce, when this trend started, I was enthusiastic and I thought: “Evet, here it comes! This year will be a year of jubilee and the breakthrough!” But what I expected and wanted to happen, didn’t happen, and I became a little disappointed. Every year I became enthusiastic again, until about two years ago, that’s when I thought “here we go again…” It’s a little bit sad, because of one statement we all get excited and enthusiastic, but that’s only temporary. Because a few days later, most of us have forgotten all about it. Bu gösterir, that our soul; our emotions and feelings have been touched and not our spirit. These religious words are just motivational words that people want to hear.
It’s like a gramophone record that is stuck and repeats itself
Because let’s be honest, would there ever be a New Years wish, that would say: “It shall be a tough and difficult year. You will experience persecution by your family, Arkadaşlar, tanıdıklar, colleagues etc. but you must hold on to the Word and keep walking in His way”. Hayır… I think this New year’s wish shall never come….
Neden? Because this wish shall not satisfy or please, the ears of the people. That’s not what people want to hear, although these words can be very encouraging and can prepare someone for the hardships that will come. Maalesef, we live in an age, where almost everyone want to please others and only want to speak positive, uplifting and motivational words.
Is it bad to say that this will become a year of the breakthrough? Hayır, not at all. But what is that breakthrough exactly?
Spiritual attacks of the devil
Her insan, who becomes yeniden doğmak, has to deal with problems, zulüm, muhalefet, insanların direnişi, attacks of the adversaries of God (Şeytan, şeytanlar) ve saire. You shall not be moved anymore by situations, durumlar, or by the behaviour and attacks of people. It may not be the breakthrough, that the world defines as breakthrough. But it shall be a spiritual breakthrough in your everyday life.
I understand, that many people love to hear statements, that will encourage their soul and touch their emotions and feelings.

Her gün, when you open the Word and study the Word, the Word shall encourage your spirit. Her gün, the Word and the Spirit shall teach and guide you into all truth, so that your spirit shall mature.
Bilirsin, that as long as you stay in Jesus Christ, you have to deal with resistance and persecution of people, and the devil and demons. If you experience a breakthrough in a certain situation, then another situation (or problem) shall arise again. This will never stop! Tek fark, that the more you grow, the less it will affect you and the easier it becomes to overcome it.
The real breakthrough has already taken place

Fakat Hıristiyanlar, who are born again and walk after the Spirit, know that the real breakthrough for man, olmuş, when Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead. People have been given the opportunity to become reconciled with God, have a relationship with Him, İsa Mesih aracılığıyla, and become born of Him in the spirit, by power of the Holy Spirit. Gerçek, that His Holy Spirit dwells in you, and that you are İsa Mesih'te oturmuş Cennetsel Yerlerde. That is what I call, a real breakthrough!
Barış O'nda
Your should have an attitude of thanksgiving and greatfulness towards Him. You should always give Jesus the praise and honor, and thank Him daily, despite the situations, circumstances or problems you’re facing. You have to know that these situations and problems will mold you.
The difficult situations or problems will only make you stronger in Christ, as long as you stay in the Word.
