Varje år, Good Friday is remembered by Christians. But what is the meaning of Good Friday? Why is Good Friday such an important day to Christians and humanity?

The whipping post

Jesus took the bread, which symbolizes His body in the visible world. Every time you take the bread and eat the bread, you remember His body, which was given for you. You remember the stripes, He took upon Himself, on the whipping post, on Good Friday. You remember that by His stripes you were healed. Ja, all sickness and disease He took upon Him on the whipping post.

The finished work at Calvary
Efter piskposten, Jesus continued His way to Calvary; the place, where He would die for all humanity. Ja, He would be sacrificed for all humanity.
På långfredagen, Jesus was pierced at the cross and carried all the iniquities and sins of mankind. Jesus tog alla synder, Ondska, and eventually death upon Himself. Så att alla, who believes in Him would receive redemption, evigt liv, a life reunited with the Father. Alla, who is redeemed by the blood of Jesus, will not face death.

Varje dag, you should take up your cross and follow Jesus, which means that you act and live according to His will, and not your own will anymore. If you walk in His will, you will please Him, and exalt Him in everything you do.
