Why did God allow this to happen? Why didn’t God do something? Why doesn’t God heal this person? Why did God allow this person to die? Why does God allow natural disasters? If God truly exists, then why doesn’t He …….? Why, why……. Many times people have the tendency to forget God when everything goes well. But as soon as they experience setbacks or something goes wrong, or something happens in general, which is not according to their will, then suddenly they know their way to find God and held Him responsible and blame God for all the misery, disasters and problems. Not only the world blames God, but God’s children also blame God for all their problems and miseries and hold Him responsible. But if His children would read and study the Bible more often, and spend time with Him in prayer, then they would get to know the heart of their Father and would recognize and see, that they are completely wrong.
Many times believers speak disrespectfully about God as if He is some kind of everyday friend, Who should submit to their will, and serve and obey them. The fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of all wisdom, often lacks in the lives of believers.
The fear of the Lord has nothing to do with being afraid of God, but having awe and respect for the Almighty God, Who created the heaven and the earth and all there is within.
If the spirit of the believers would mature and they would get to know their Father, through Jesus Christ, then the attitude and behavior would be very different.
Instead of complaining to God and asking why constantly, they would have spiritual knowledge and insights. They would know the cause and therefore they would stop whining and complaining and asking why.
The why stage
There are many Christians, who behave themselves as toddlers, who are in the ‘why stage’. As soon as something happens or if parents, or other people, say something, they immediately ask why. Even when toddlers receive the answer, they ask why. Luckily, this stage will not last forever, but will only be temporary. Therefore, you would think that this is also the case with Christians. But no, many Christians never leave this ‘why stage’ and get stuck in it.
And that’s not all! They not only keep asking why but also blame God for all the misery that is going on.
Blame it on God
It’s the same behavior as the carnal people of Israel, who kept whining and complaining, and asking why to God when they didn’t receive what they wanted. They blamed God of all their misery and what they lacked. They were not grateful and thankful to God for all the things that He had done for them. They were not grateful for their salvation, and what He had done for them and how He provided their needs. They didn’t see, that because of their own words and behavior, they brought the mischief upon themselves (i.e. Ex 14:12, Ex 32:31, Num 14:1-4, Num 17:10-13, Num 21:5). No, they blamed God for their mischief and all those things they lacked, according to them.
This behavior of the carnal old man hasn’t changed. Many believers keep living as the old carnal man and still blame God.
Blinded by the lies of the devil
The majority of believers spend too much time with the cause and by asking why, instead of the solution. God has given the new man everything (s)he needs to solve the problem. The new man has everything, that the world needs. If you have become a new creation; the new man, then you have been given all authority and power in Jesus Christ to take care of the problem and call those things which are not as though they were. But if you are still the old carnal man and are unspiritual, and don’t know who you are in Jesus Christ and what you have received and posses in Him and Who lives inside of you, then you can’t walk in it. That’s why, the devil tries to keep you as far away from the Word as possible so that you will stay ignorant and won’t become a threat for his kingdom and he can go his way.
Why is there so much misery? Because the sons of God don’t live after the words and the will of God and don’t do what Jesus has commanded to do and don’t walk in righteousness.
Many are tempted and blinded by the lies of the devil. That’s because they stay carnal and are focussed upon themselves and their lives, prosperity and wealth instead of the Kingdom of God. They don’t realize and acknowledge that there is spiritual warfare going on.
Many close their eyes, and don’t want to acknowledge that we have to deal with the enemy of God, namely the devil and his kingdom. The devil is the adversary of God and to those, who are born again in Jesus Christ and belong to God and are His sons, the devil has also become their adversary. The sons of God are no longer sons of the devil but have become the enemies of the devil. The sons of God will no longer live after the will of the devil but after the will of God.
But as long as you don’t acknowledge that you have an enemy, or if you think that the devil is defeated because of the work at the cross and therefore doesn’t have any power and ability and therefore is no longer active, then you are wrong!
The sons of God still have to fight in the spiritual warfare
Jesus has indeed spoiled all principalities and powers, and made a shew of them openly and triumphed over them at the cross, and by His resurrection from the death He has defeated the devil and has taken the keys of death and Hades (Col 2:13-15, Rev 1:18). But the devil is still present and active. He still has the ability to continue his destructive work, since he is not thrown in the eternal lake of fire yet (Rev 20:10). The Word says, that we still have to fight against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph 6:12)
The devil still goes around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He still kills, steals and destroys, while the majority of Christians have closed their ears and walk around blindfolded in darkness and let him continue his destructive works.
That’s because they are ignorant and don’t know the Word. They are darkened in their minds and have ears, but don’t hear and eyes, but don’t see, and that’s why they don’t stop him.
Instead of stopping him, they allow him and his minions (demons) to go their way and continue their destructive works. They not only allow them to continue their destructive works, but they even help him, by allowing, justifying and approving those things, which go against God’s will.
They see an increase in decay, violence, natural disasters, and misery, but they don’t acknowledge the influence, works and the power of the devil. They neither see, that because of their words and behavior, they have brought the misery upon themselves. Due to their own laziness and by not doing what God has commanded to do, but instead living like the world and tolerating the works of the devil, they bring the mischief upon themselves.
Instead of blaming the devil and stop him and/or consider themselves as the ones, who are responsible and therefore repent of their walk after the flesh, that go against the will of God, they are blaming God for all the decay, problems and miseries, and hold God accountable.
The world has not changed, but the apostasy has increased
In the Book of Revelations, we read about the last days of the end times, in which we already live in. We read about the vials of the wrath of God (Rev 16), which are horrible. But despite all the disasters and everything that shall come, God’s deeds are righteous (Rev 16:7, Rev 19:2). Everything that takes place on earth and will be taken place on the earth in the future, are the results of the works of people, who have listened to the lies of the devil.
The world has not changed, but the apostasy from God has increased. This has become visible in the chaos on this earth. The things that are good have become evil, and the things which are evil have become good.
It’s time to wake up and take responsibility
That’s why it’s time, to stop asking God why, and stop blaming God for all the misery, and take responsibility for all the misery, that’s been caused by the tolerance, indifference, and blindness of believers, who have become lukewarm.
It’s time, that believers become born again, grow up and spiritually mature in Christ, after the image of God, and see that they are dealing with an adversary of God; the devil, who is still taking ground each day. Because as long as Christians are blinded and asleep because they stay carnal and live after the flesh, he can continue his destructive works.
It’s time, that the believers search their own lives, whether they are still in the faith and live after the Word and the will of God, and if necessary, repent and return to Him. And then take back their ground and fight against the evil powers of darkness. It’s about time to win our country back for the Kingdom of God and establish His Kingdom on this earth, instead of compromising with sin, unrighteousness, human philosophies, and other religions.
It is often said by carnal believers and humanists, that we all serve the same God. But that’s a lie from the devil, who lead many believers on sideways. We serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
We serve the Father of Jesus Christ, the Almighty God, who out of His great love gave His own Son and send Him to the world to become the Substitute for fallen man and make fallen man in Him into one new creation (one new man), namely sons of God. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and came in the flesh.
No one can come to the Father than through Jesus Christ; His Son through faith and by becoming born again in Him. Jesus is the only Way to the Father. Without this faith and without being born again in Christ a person is lost.
Pray like no one else is praying
Therefore, instead of being tolerant and compromise, it’s about time that the sons of God arise and not only believe in this truth but also walk in this truth and preach the truth of Jesus Christ and His work at the cross to the people. Because without their words, many souls will be lost, and they shall be held accountable for their blood before the Almighty God on the Day of Judgment.
Therefore, don’t be focused upon yourself and the side issues in life, but be focused upon the things of the Kingdom of God and what Jesus has commanded you to do. Spend time in His Word and in prayer, so that you will get to know His will and pray according to His will.
Don’t beg, but proclaim the will of God! Don’t look at your circumstances and obstacles, and don’t be led by them, but be led by the Word and the Holy Spirit and keep on going. Keep standing on the Word and call those things which are not, as though they were.
Pray like no one else is praying, and the future depends on your prayer. Believe, that what you speak you receive. Speak His will and cast down the works of the kingdom of darkness, by your words and deeds and speak over the lives of people and areas, what should happen. So that, you shall bring the Kingdom of God to the earth and souls won’t be lost, but saved and won for Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.
