In the previous blogposts, the waiting for the promise of Jesus’ return and what signs shall take place in the end times was discussed. Ho Mattheu 24, Jesus spoke to His disciples about the end of time, before His return. Jesus mentioned what signs shall take place.
Jesus not only mentioned the signs, but Jesus also warned His disciples, for the many deceptions that shall take place at the end of the last days. (Bala hape: U hlokomela baprofeta ba bohata joang mehleng ea rona?, ‘Doctrines of devils are killing the Church‘, the occult church, le Mongwaha o motjha kerekeng?).
As long as you stay focused on Jesus and take His words, mamelang mantsoe a Hae, and live according to His Word, then you shall not be deceived and the Day of the Lord shall not come as a surprise, but you shall stay in His peace and endure until the end.
The Jesus’ return and the end times
There are many more passages in the Bible about the end times and the return of Jesus. Empa hajoale, I only wanted to look at what Jesus said to His disciples, about the end times and what will happen before Jesus returns.
If you are curious about what signs shall take place before the return of Jesus, before His coming, I would like to advise you to read the Book of Matthew chapter 24.
Ho Mattheu 24 Jesu o boletse:
- Take heed that no one deceives you
- You shall hear of wars and rumors of wars
- There shall be famines, le mafu a seoa, le litšisinyeho tsa lefatše
- They shall deliver you up to be afflicted, and kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for My name’s sake
- Many shall be deceived by false prophets
- The love shall wax cold
- The abomination of desolation
- The gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world
- False christs and false prophets shall arise and shall shew great signs and wonders
- There shall be darkness
- Every one shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory
- Learn from the fig tree
- No one knows the day and the hour
- The Day that the Son of Man shall return will be like the days of Noah
- Awake and watch
What must you do in the meantime?
Watch and be prepared to meet Him! Iketsetse Tumelong ea Hau e Halalelang ka ho Fetisisa. Sanctify yourself in the Holy Ghost; tsamaea ka kgalalelo, walk according to the Word of God in obedience to Him.
Encourage each other. When you see someone falling away from the faith or step into a trap of the devil and sin, warn and correct that person and call that person to repentance. When you notice, that someone is falling asleep, poke that person so that (s)he shall stay awake and watch. Follow Jesus and do the works, that Jesus has commanded you to do, tse leng:
E ea lefats'eng lohle, 'me u bolele maeto a Kosepele ho sebopuoa se seng le se seng. Ea lumelang 'me o tla kolobetsoa; empa ea lumelang ha a hlotsoe. 'Me lipontšo tsena li tla latela ba lumelang; Ho My name shall they cast out devils; Ba tla bua le maleme a Macha; Ba tla nka lilahatsi; mme haeba ba nwa ntho efe kapa efe e bolaeang, e ke ke ea ba utloisa bohloko; ba tla behela matsoho ho ba kulang, ba tla fola (Tšoaea 16:15-18)
‘E be letsoai la lefatše’
