Lipesalemeng 107, re bala ka Molimo ea matla ’ohle le molemo oa Hae le hore hohle moo motho a leng teng, topollo e teng kamehla bakeng sa motho! Ha ho boemo bo hlokang tšepo hoo Jehova a ke keng a lopolla motho. People may be in a situation where there is no hope and no way out and everything around them is dark. But although the situation seems hopeless and people don’t see a way out, God always sees a way out and still redeems. Bara ba Molimo (banna le ba batšehali), ba tswetsweng ke Modimo, have faith in God and Jesus Christ; Lentswe. They see the same way out as their Father. They don’t speak and act according to what their senses tell them. Sebakeng seo, they walk after the Spirit and speak and act according to what the Word (BIBELE) ho rialo. They walk by faith and stand on the Word. Because nothing is impossible for our Almighty God and Father and our Lord Jesus Christ! It’s all about, do you believe that?
The redeemed of the Lord praise the Lord for His goodness
O give thanks unto the Lord, hobane O molemo: hobane mohau wa hae ke o sa feleng. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; 'Me a ba bokella ho tsoa linaheng, ho tloha bochabela, le ho tloha bophirimela, ho tsoa leboea, le ho tloha borwa (Lipesaleme 107:1-3)
It is the Lord God, Who redeems man. There is no one else than God alone. The redeemed of the Lord praise the Lord and testify that God is good, because His mercy endures forever.

Selekaneng sa Kgale, God redeemed His people Israel from the power of pharaoh and slavery. Empa batho, bao eneng ele ba nama, constantly deviated from God.
They chose to do the will of the flesh, instead of staying obedient to the words and commandments of God (molao). And so the people became apostate. Because of their walk and behavior, they fell into the hands of their enemies and became oppressed.
It happened many times, that God had to redeem His people from the power of their (TLHOKOMELISO) adversaries and restore (fodisa) His people and the land.
Every time God’s people were oppressed and cried unto the Lord in their trouble and repented and returned to the words of God, the Lord heard the cry of His people. The Lord showed His goodness and mercy and delivered His people through His word and power.
Although we live in the New Covenant, which is sealed with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the Lord still redeems through His Word.
Selekaneng sa Kgale, the Lord God redeemed His people when the situation seemed hopeless and they cried unto Him. Selekaneng se secha, the Lord God still redeems no matter how hopeless the situation may be.
How does the Lord redeem man?
The Lord redeems man through Jesus Christ the Son and the Living Word. God sent Jesus to the earth to redeem man from the power of the devil (Mohanyetsi oa Molimo), boelanya motho le Modimo, le ho busetsa (fodisa) Monna. (Bala hape: ‘Khotso, Jesu o ile a khutlisetsoa pakeng tsa monna oa oele le Molimo‘).
There is redemption for every person, who lives under the authority of the devil and death. Every person can be delivered from sin and death, ka tumelo ho Jesu Kreste le ho tsoaloa bocha ho Eena.
Every life is precious to God. It doesn’t matter whether you are a Jew or a Greek. God wants everyone to come to the knowledge of the truth and by faith in Christ, in the truth, be redeemed and saved until the end.
Batho, who are redeemed by the Lord, shall always remember the Lord. They shall always remember what the Lord has done and praise Him for His great love and His goodness.
The Lord redeems the wanders in the wilderness in a solitary way
Ba ile ba lelera lefeelleng ka tsela e se nang batho; they found no city to dwell in.Lapa le lenyora, meea ea bona ea tepella ka ho bona. Yaba ba howeletsa ho Jehova matswalong a bona, + mme A ba golola mo ditlalelong tsa bone. Mme A ba etella pele ka tsela e lokileng, ba tle ba ye motseng wa bodulo. Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, le mesebetsi ya Hae e makatsang ho bana ba batho! Hobane O kgorisa moya o hlolohetsweng, mme o kgorisa moya o lapileng ka molemo. (Lipesaleme 107:4-9)
Ho na le batho ba bangata, who wander in the wilderness and live in a solitary way. Their souls hunger and thirst but can’t find what they need.
They have no peace and rest in their lives, but they are troubled and live in distress (tshabo). They are constantly looking and searching, but can’t find what they need.
But God is not a God, Who hides Himself. Tseo, who seek the Lord with their whole heart, ke tla Mo fumana (Oh. Jeremia 29:13).
Tseo, who cry unto the Lord in their trouble will be saved by the Lord from their distress. The Lord will lead them forth in the right way that leads to eternal life.
Batho, who are redeemed by the Lord from their trouble and distress shall praise the Lord for His goodness and His wonderful works to humanity.
Because only God can satisfy the longing soul and fill the hungry soul with goodness.
the Lord redeems the prisoners, who live in darkness and the shadow of death
Ba kang ba dutseng lefifing le moriting wa lefu, ba tlamilwe mahlomoleng le tshepe; Hobane ba ile ba fetohela mantsoe a Molimo, mme a nyatsa keletso ya Mookamedi ya phahameng: Ka baka leo, A kokobetsa dipelo tsa bona ka mosebetsi o boima; ba wela fatshe, mme ho ne ho se ya thusang. Yaba ba howeletsa ho Jehova matswalong a bona, mme A ba pholosa ditsietsing tsa bona. O ba ntshitse lefifing le moriting wa lefu, mme ba kgaola marapo a bona. Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, le mesebetsi ya Hae e makatsang ho bana ba batho! Etsoe O robile liheke tsa koporo, mme o kgaole mekoallo ya tshepe ka dikoto (Lipesaleme 107:10-16)
Ho na le batho ba bangata, who live in darkness and the shadow of death. They’re bound in affliction and bars of iron, because they rebelled against the words of God. They despised the counsel of the most High and put their trust in man and the wisdom and knowledge of the world.
They can’t go anywhere, but they’re bound in chains and affliction and don’t see a way out. There is no help, everything around them is dark. But even in the darkness and in trouble and distress, when the situation seems hopeless, God finds man and redeems man.
Because when they call upon the Lord, the Lord will hear them and find them. He will redeem them through Jesus Christ and save them out of their distress.
The Lord will bring them out of the darkness and the shadow of death. He will break their bands in sunder, so that they will be free and live in the light.
The Lord redeems fools, who are afflicted because of their transgression and iniquities
Maoatla ka lebaka la tlolo ea bona, le ka baka la makgopo a bona, are afflicted.Meea ea bona e nyonya mefuta eohle ea lijo; mme ba atamela menyako ya lefu. Ke moo ba howeletsang ho Jehova ditsietsing tsa bona, mme O ba pholosa ditsietsing tsa bona. He sent his word, mme a ba folisitse, mme a ba lopolla timelong ya bona. Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, le mesebetsi ya Hae e makatsang ho bana ba batho! + Mme a ba dire ditlhabelo tsa tebogo, mme le bolele mesebetsi ya Hae ka thabo (Lipesaleme 107:17-22)
Ho na le batho, who are fools and have no fear of God and have rejected God. Because of their foolish behavior and sinful walk and iniquities, they are afflicted and tormented by the adversary of God, diabolose, and draw near to the gates of death.
But God will also save the fools from their distress by His Word, if they call upon the Lord and repent. (Bala hape: Ho bolela'ng Molimo a rometse Lentsoe la hae mme a ba folisitse?')
The Lord redeems the sea merchants, who are in danger of being destroyed by the storm
Ba theohelang lewatleng ka dikepe, tse etsang khoebo metsing a maholo; These see the works of the Lord, and His wonders in the deep. For He commandeth, mme o tsosa moya wa sefefo, which lifteth up the waves thereof. They mount up to the heaven, ba boela ba theohela madibeng: their soul is melted because of trouble. They reel to and fro, mme o thekesele jwaloka motho ya tahilweng, mme ba matleng a bona’ end. Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and He bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so He bringeth them unto their desired haven. Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, le mesebetsi ya Hae e makatsang ho bana ba batho! Let them exalt Him also in the congregation of the people, and praise Him in the assembly of the elders (Pesaleme 107:23-32)
The Lord redeems man everywhere, even on the great waters. Batho, who go down to the sea in ships and do business in great waters are familiar with the greatness of God that is revealed in nature, are not hidden from God.
If He commands and raises the stormy wind and they are overwhelmed by the storm and can’t do anything with all their wisdom and knowledge and reel to and fro and stagger like a drunken man and are at their wit’s end and by the power of the waves brought down in the depths and their soul is melted because of trouble, even then the Lord knows where to find them.
When the situation seems hopeless and they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, the Lord will calm the storm and bring them out of their distress and bring them to their desired haven.
The hand of the Lord is not too short to redeem man
Just like these sea merchants, Ho na le batho, who are always busy with their work and daily activities, until something happens that turns their lives upside down. Everything went well until the tide turned and everything changed.
They are caught up in a storm, where the ability, bohlale, and knowledge of people can’t help and save them. They’re powerless and real to and fro and stagger like a drunken man. They’re at their wits’ end and go down into the deep.
But even in that distress, when the soul of a person is drowning in the sea of misery, tšepo e teng. Because God’s hand is not too short to redeem man. Not even at the lowest part of someone’s life.
When they cry unto the Lord in their trouble and distress, the Lord will hear their cry and redeem them from their fears.
He shall calm the storm and lead them unto their desired haven, where they shall be save.
And so the Lord redeems the wanderers from the wilderness, the prisoners from the shadow of death, the fools from their afflictions, and the sea merchants from the storm.
Jesus Christ redeems man
O fetola dinoka lefeella, le didiba tsa metsi mobung o omileng; Naha e behang hore e be lehoatata, ka baka la bokgopo ba ba ahileng teng. O fetola lefeella metsi a emeng, le mobu o omileng hore e be liliba tsa metsi. And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, ba tle ba lokise motse wa ho aha; Le ho jala masimo, le ho lema lirapa tsa morara, e ka hlahisang litholoana tsa keketseho. Le fa go ntse jalo o baya bahumanegi kwa godimo go tswa mo pitlaganong, and maketh him families like a flock. The righteous shall see it, mme le thabe: mme makgopo wohle a tla thiba molomo wa wona. Ke mang ya bohlale, mme o tla boloka dintho tsena, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord (Pesaleme 107:33-43)
No matter where you are and what hopeless situation you are in, nothing is too hard for the Lord! Nothing can stop the Lord from redeeming you through Jesus Christ.
When you call upon Jesus Christ, Mora Modimo o phelang, and turn to Him, Jesus shall hear you. He shall redeem you and lead you on the path of life that leads to eternal life. Not because you deserve it, but because of the goodness of God.
I pray, hore bohle, who reads this, will find Jesus Christ, Mora Modimo o phelang, and repent and be reconciled with God the Father, and love Jesus with all their heart, moea, kelello, le matla.
As the Lord says in His Word, Bonang, Ke 'na Morena, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for Me? (Jeremia 32:27)
‘E be letsoai la lefatše’
