Riches and honour are with me; haa, durable riches and righteousness (Maahmaahyo 8:18)
Waa maxay taajirnimadu? When you talk about riches and wealth, many people think immediately about money. Because in this world to be rich means having a lot of money. Sax? But when the Bible speaks about riches and being rich, does the Bible also mean having a lot of money? Or does the Bible mean something else?
What is riches according to the world?
Money has become the center of society; everything evolves around money. It’s all about gaining as much money as possible. Some people don’t comply to the legislation, xeerar, terms, and conditions of companies, society, government etc. and do undeclared labour, khiyaamo samee, steal or try to evade taxes etc. They try to get as much money as possible, through all kinds of illegal ways, so that they can fulfil the lust and desires of their flesh. Laakiin Ilaah wax walba wuu arkaa.
The love for money and the greed for material things, only increases. Arinta murugada lehna waa, that it’s not only happening in the world, but there are many churches and congregations that are focused upon money. They preach carnal messages, that are focused upon finances and money.
What is riches according to the Kingdom of God?
But when God speaks about riches and wealth, He isn’t talking about money. The Kingdom of God doesn’t evolve around money, but it evolves around Jesus Christ, and the legacy you have received in Him.
When you accept Jesus, oo mar labaad dhalatay, then you’ve become a son of God. You have become a son of God and a co-heir in Jesus Christ. You have a new position: you are now ku fadhiisiyey Ciise Masiix, ee meelaha Jannada, Midigta Eebbe.
You don’t belong to the kingdom of darkness (boqortooyada dunidan) mar dambe, but you belong to the Kingdom of God. You will not be ruled and controlled by the spirits of this world, but you will have dominion over them. In Ciise Masiix, you have received authority over the entire host of the enemy of God. You have received the Holy Spirit and will walk after the Spirit and not after the flesh.
Ruuxa Quduuska ah, is the most precious Gift that any man can receive in life. By kudhaca Ruuxa Quduuska ah, you have become a son/daughter of God, waana Dembiile mar dambe ma jiro. Waxaad heshay dabeecadda Ilaah, and now you may walk in His riches as a son/daughter of God.
Markaad tahay fadhiya isaga, and walk in Him, you shall walk in durable riches, Iyo xaqnimo. You shall preach and bring the Kingdom of God on this earth, and the signs and wonders shall follow you.
