When you find the Book of Life, you find the true God of life and through His Word eternal life. The holy Book of Life is the Bible. The Bible contains the truth and life of God. But it’s up to the people what they do with it. What happens when you find the Book of Life?
What is the origin of the Book of Life?
The Book of Life originates from the one and only true Almighty God, Who is the Giver of life and created out of nothing, the heaven and the earth and all there is within through the Word and the Spirit.
All life and everything you see around you have its origin in God, and the proof of the Father’s existence is revealed through the witness of His Word and Spirit.
The Word of life and the holy Spirit of life represent the Father and the Law of the Spirit of life, and proclaim His words and do His will.
The holy Bible is the Book of Life
In the holy Bible, you’ll find the life. Every word in the Bible is given by inspiration of God through the Holy Spirit, and quickens and brings forth holy lives and good works to everyone that believes, and therefore does what the Word says.
Because it is written in 2 Timoteyos 3:16, that all scripture, which means every word in the Bible, is profitable for doctrine, canaan, si loo saxo, edbinta xaqnimada, so that the man of God may be perfect, oo aad loogu diyaariyey shuqullo wanaagsan oo dhan.
Sidaa darteed, it’s important that Christians know the Word, and that the Word of God is the final authority in their lives, and that they hold forth the Word of life unto the end.
A lack of knowledge of the Word of life leads to lacking Christians that are not steadfast but are tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine and remain spiritual babies that always need attention and care, iyo, sida ku cad Erayga, will be destroyed (Hooseea 4:6).
If the Word of God is not the final authority in the lives of Christians, it leads to licentious lives full of sin.
Wax walba oo aan gunuuseyn iyo muranno: That ye may be blameless and harmless, ina Illahay, Calaamad la'aan, Dhexdhexaad ah oo qalqal gelisay oo qalloocan, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; si aan ugu farxiyo maalinta Masiixa, in aanan u dhicin wax aan micno lahayn, wax aan micne lahayn uma shaqeeyo (Filibiin 2:14-16)
What happens when you find the Book of Life?
When you find the Book of Life, waxaad samayn kartaa laba shay:
You believe that the Book of Life originates from God and is the truth and believe in the Son and His finished redemptive work and His blood, and you toobad, ahaan biyo lagu baabtiisay, and receive the baabtiis Ruuxa Quduuska ah and live as the new creation in submission and obedience to the Word in the light in righteousness.
You don’t believe that the Book originates from God, but consider it a lie and don’t believe in the Son and His redemptive work, and reject the Word, and continue your carnal life as the abuurkii hore in darkness and keep living in sin.
The result of finding the Book of Life in the life of King Josiah
In the life of King Josiah, finding the Book of Life brought forth a change and sanctified lives of people.
When Hilkia, wadaadka sare, found the Book of the Law of the Covenant and gave the Book to Shafan the scribe, and Shafan read the words of the Book of the Law of Moses to King Josiah, Josiah didn’t become angry or offended by the righteous and judging words of God, which were hard to hear.
Neither did King Josiah destroy the Book in the fire, as his son had done to the words of God. But the words of God from the Book of the Law of the Covenant brought him to repentance (ku. 2 Boqorro 22, 23; Yeremyaah 36).
King Josiah received the words of God in his heart. The words of God didn’t only cause repentance, but the words of God also led to a massive cleansing in the land, macbudka (Guriga Ilaahay), and the lives of people, from all idolatry, pagan influences, iyo (galmada) uncleanness that entered the land through infidelity and adultery of the kings, Wadaaddadii, elders and people of the house of Israel and Judah with the pagan nations, entered the land and God’s house.
The words of God in the lives of the humble vs the pride
That was the result of the words of God in the life of King Josiah, and that is still the result of the words of God in the lives of people that are aan kibir badnayn and acknowledge God as Lord and believe in His Son and submit to Him, iyo sababtaas darteed, obey the words that are written in the Book of Life.
Because the words of God are still Spirit and life and bring forth holy lives and righteous work and eternal life.
Si kastaba ha ahaatee, the people with an unbelieving heart that are full of pride and rebellious and belong to the world and love the world shall reject the words of God.
Waa maxay sababta? Because the words of God reveal sin and condemn the works of the flesh, which the old man loves so much, and reveal where the road of the carnal flesh leads to. And that’s something carnal people don’t want to hear.
They don’t want any inference from God, but they want to live their own lives with the will of the flesh as the captain of their lives.
Sababtaas, Bibles remain closed, and another gospel of the senses with motivational self-help sermons and the associated experiences is preached that please, provide, and enforce the will, dareen, damac, and desires of the flesh of man.
Wixii intaas ka jira oo dhan, Damac jidhka, iyo damac indhuhu, Iyo kibirka nolosha, ma aha aabaha, Laakiin dunida. And the world passes away, Iyo damaceeyey: but he that does the will of God abides for ever (1 John 2:16-17)
The preaching of another gospel that promotes ungodly lives full of sin
Si kastaba ha ahaatee, this other gospel doesn’t produce changed lives and righteous works, as the true gospel of Jesus Christ does, but unchanged lives in sin.
These words of man don’t originate from the Well of Life. Sidaa darteed, they don’t bring forth faith in God, loyalty, barakaysnaan, nabad, farxad, midnimo, courageous soldiers and victors (over sin and the works of darkness), but they bring forth doubt, rumaysad la'aan, damaca, gaalnimo, ku qanacsanayn, walaac, niyad jab, huf, masayr, xanaaq, iniquity and victims (of sin and the works of darkness), and ungodly lives.
Bar inaad nafsaddaada loo bogay Ilaah tussiiso, a workman that needech not to be ashamed, hadalka runta ah si sax ah u qaybinaya. But shun profane and vain babbling: waayo, aad bay u sii kordhi doonaan cibaadola'aanta (2 Timoteyos 2:15-16)
The deceiving words of carnal preachers fuel wickedness in the church and produce corrupt lives
How many times do church visitors say that they can’t help it, maxaa yeelay iyagu live in a fallen world and are born that way and remain sinners?
This lie has been preached, rumeysan, and passed on from generation to generation, whereby people still believe this lie of the devil and keep living in this lie and keep doing the works of the sinful flesh and participate in the works of darkness.
The vain words of carnal preachers and this lie led to (galmada) uncleanness and broken relationships, broken marriages, Qoysaska jabay, in short, broken lives.
Broken lives, that didn’t have to be broken if they believed God and obeyed His words in the Bible and followed His words in their lives.
Ilaah eraygiisii ka dhigay jacayl
It was not for nothing that God sent His Word. God gave His Word out of love for humankind to awaken the generation of fallen man and redeem them from the power of the devil and darkness. Because as long as people keep sinning, they are not redeemed and free but are still prisoners and bound.
And such an imprisoned and bound generation raises the next generation that deviates even more from the truth of God and acts more wickedly than the previous generation.
We live in such a generation wherein the people perverted the gospel of Christ and adhere to another vain gospel and think through humanism that they live a good life, while in reality the apostasy is enormous.
This can be seen through the evil works (dembi) in the lives of church visitors that are no different from the lives of people that belong to the world and walk in darkness.
The words of God in the Bible are not read, understood, and not displayed correctly. Halkii, the words in the Bible are interpreted from a prideful human mind and taken out of context and used for the will and lust of the flesh.
Just like the devil tried to tempt Jesus with the words of God by using His words for the flesh. Si kastaba ha ahaatee, Jesus knew the Father and His will and was lead by the Holy Spirit and perceived the wickedness and deception of the devil and defeated the devil with the truth of God’s Word.
Sidaa darteed, submit yourself unto Jesus Christ and the Father and follow and obey the words of God and bring the words of God to life in your life.
Obey the words in the Book of Life, so that your name will be written in the Book of Life of the Lamb
Rumaysad, ah Dhalasho Cusub, and obedience to the words and commandments of God that are written in the Book of Life and by your righteous works that derive thereof, your name shall be written in the Book of Life of the Lamb.
