Aký je strach z Pána? Bázeň pred Pánom je počiatkom múdrosti,
a poznanie svätého je porozumenie

a good understanding have all they that do the Lord’s commandments:
His praise endures for ever

ale blázni pohŕdajú múdrosťou a poučením

The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility

a spredu úst, does God hates

The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever:
the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death

The fear of the Lord tends to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied;
he shall not be visited with evil

The fear of the Lord prolongs days:
but the years of the wicked shall be shortened

In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence:
and his children shall have a place of refuge

Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith

By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, a život
