Potom, čo Ježiš spomenul všetky znamenia, ktoré sa budú diať pred Ježišom’ vrátiť, Ježiš povedal svojim učeníkom podobenstvo o figovníku. Lukáš nespomenul len figovník, ale všetky stromy: “Hľa, figovník, a všetky stromy” (Luke 21:29). Čo však znamená podobenstvo o figovníku v Matúšovi 24:32-33, Marka 13:28-29, a Luke 21:29-31?
Význam podobenstva o figovníku
Teraz sa naučte podobenstvo o figovníku; Keď je jeho ratolesť ešte nežná, a vyháňa listy, viete, že leto sa blíži: Tak isto aj vy, keď uvidíte všetky tieto veci, vedieť, že je blízko, aj pri dverách. Obyvatelia Izraela poznali figovník. Poznali každý detail figovníka. Vedeli to, keď ratolesť zmäkla a vyrazila listy, blížilo sa leto.
Ježiš prirovnal znamenia svojho návratu k figovníku. He said that when these things, ktoré Ježiš spomínal v Matúšovi 24:4-30, would happen, His return would be at hand.
Jesus wanted them to become familiar with His words. Just like they were familiar with the signs of the fig tree. He wanted them (and us) to know when the summer is coming.
Slová, which Jesus spoke shall not pass away, but shall last forever until they are fulfilled.
We should hold on to the words of Jesus, so that we become aware of the season we live in.
When we look at the words of Jesus and the signs of the end times, we see that we live in the last days of the end times and that the summer is coming. Almost everything, that Jesus foretold is happening around us.
Awake to righteousness and be ready to meet Jesus Christ
Môžeme skonštatovať, that we live in the final stage of the end times. Nebude to trvať dlho a Ježiš sa vráti.
Therefore awake to righteousness and stay awake and be ready to meet Jesus Christ. Are you ready for Jesus Christ’s return?
