Când crezi în Isus Hristos, Fiul Dumnezeului celui viu, and repent and become a new creation, by becoming born again in Christ (născut din apă și Duh), you will become the righteousness of God; the just. Prin regenerare, your heart and nature will change and therefore your life will change. You no longer belong to the darkness, ci prin regenerare în Hristos, you have been transferred from the darkness into the Kingdom of God and you shall walk on the way of the just. The way of the just is uprightness:
tu, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
Căci cei drepți vor locui în țară, and the perfect shall remain in it.
The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
The integrity of the upright shall guide them:
but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them:
but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.
By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted:
but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord:
but such as are upright in their way are his delight.
The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood:
but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way:
but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
The house of the wicked shall be overthrown:
but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.

The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.
An unjust man is an abomination to the just:
and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.
