Walking on the narrow path of the Lord, means walking in the fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord has nothing to do with being fearful, nerăbdător, or afraid of God. But to fear the Lord means to have respect and live in awe of the most High God; Creatorul Cerurilor și al Pământului, și tot ce este înăuntru, and to love Him. There is none like Him. Fearing the Lord is not a passive behaviour, but it requires action. În Proverbe 2:1-5 we read about walking in the fear of the Lord. Ce înseamnă a umbla în frica Domnului? When do you walk in the fear of the Lord? Proverbs chapter 2, verses 1-5 gives an answer to this question. Solomon mentions 10 actiuni:
- Primi Cuvintele lui
- Hide poruncile Lui
- Înclinaţie your ear unto wisdom
- Apply inima ta spre înțelegere
- Cry after knowledge
- Lift up your voice for understanding
- Caută her like silver
- Căutare for her as for hidden treasures
- Then you a intelege the fear of the Lord
- și find the knowledge of God
Let’s have a look at each one of these steps.
Receive His words and Hide His words
În primul rând, you should hear, and receive the Words of God, and keep those Words with you in your heart. When you accept His words and păzește poruncile Lui, then the Word shall be in you, and you shall be in the Word (Iisus). Exact cum a spus Isus:
Și slava pe care Mi-ai dat-o, eu le-am dat-o; ca ei să fie unul, chiar dacă suntem una: eu in ele, iar tu în mine, ca să fie desăvârșiți într-una singură; şi să ştie lumea că Tu M-ai trimis, și i-ai iubit, as thou has loved me (Ioan 17:22,23).
Incline your ear unto wisdom and
apply your heart to understanding
When you accept His words, și păstrează-le în inima ta, then your ear shall notice wisdom. Because you shall hear, and because you hear, you shall become wise. Credinţă comes by hearing, și auzirea prin Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu. The Word shall live in your heart, si din cauza asta, you shall live and walk in wisdom, și cunoaștere.
Cry after knowledge and
lift up your voice for understanding
You shall get understanding by hearing the Word of God, keeping the Word of God, and by speaking the Word of God. You’ll therefore cry after knowledge. You will call those things which are not, de parcă ar fi.
There must be a desire inside of you to spend time with God, în Cuvântul Său. Study His Word, seek and find all truths that are written in the Word (Biblia). You can only find true wisdom and knowledge in the Word.
Seek her like silver and
search for her as for hidden treasures
Seek Him, as you seek for silver, and search in the Word for those hidden treasures, because God has given you an inheritance. You will only find out what this inheritance contains, if you seek His Kingdom, and search in the Word. El vrea să îți dezvăluie acele lucruri, prin cuvântul Lui.
Walking in the fear of the Lord and
in His knowledge
If you spend time in His Word and seek for truths, then you shall get to know the Lord and find all truth. When you find all truth, then you shall understand the fear of the Lord. When you understand the fear of the Lord, then you shall find knowledge, and you shall be walking in the fear of the Lord, and in His knowledge.
