What does Proverbs 3:25-26 mean, Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes. For the Lord shall be thy confidence and shall keep they foot from being taken?
Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked
Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes. For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken (Proverbs 3:25-26)
There are so many people, who live in the bondage of fear. They are led by fear and allow fear to control their lives. But the Bible says, that you must not fear. You shouldn’t be afraid of the things that happen in your life or around you or future events that will come upon the earth. Like rejection, sickness, disease, pestilence, natural disasters, violence, wars etc..
Jesus predicted that all these things will come and must take place before His return.
The Lord shall be your confidence and keep your foot from being taken
But when you love and follow Jesus, and keep His words and commandments and abide in Him, then you shall not fear. You shall not be afraid, because you are in Him. The Lord shall be your confidence and you as long as you stay in Him and abide in His words, you shall experience His peace in your life.
When a thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; it shall not come near to you. You shall only see and be a witness of the reward of the wicked (Psalm 91:7-8).
Always remember, that the hand of the Lord is upon your life, and as long as you stay in Him, you shall be safe.
Therefore, put your trust in Him. Make the Lord your habitation, because He is the only One that can keep your foot from being taken.
There is nothing, and no one else in this world, that you can trust and rely on. Jesus is the only One you can trust and rely on. Because God’s Word is the only Truth in this world.
