The empty tomb

The empty tomb proved that there is no power greater than the power of God. A power that is greater than the early powers and elements of this world. It’s the same power whereby the heavens and the earth and all there is within were created. No power and no might can withstand the power and greatness of our Almighty God. Even death, that reigns and manifests in many lives, was not strong enough. The death wasn’t strong enough to hold Jesus in the grave, whereby death lost its power, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus rose from the dead with the keys of hell and death, and left an empty tomb, where death had no legal right anymore.

The legal right of death and hell

Death and hell thought they had a legal right to Jesus’ life (dvēsele), and they did, after God put all the sins and iniquities of the world upon His Son Jesus and Jesus carried them in His flesh that was nailed on the cross.

Tāpēc, Jesus entered hell (Hades) and made His grave with the wicked and the rich (Jesaja 53:4-12; Metjū 12:14, ebreji 2:7-18).

Bībeles dzejolis ebrejiem 2-14-15 forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, viņš arī pats piedalījās tajā pašā; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death that is the devil and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage

Tomēr, the death and hell couldn’t keep Jesus there.

The power of God was greater than the power of death and hell that had a right to fallen man.

God showed His almighty power through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.

God manifested His power in Jesus through His obedience to the Father until His death. Jesus lives by the power of God (a.o. Romieši 5:19; 2 korintieši 13:4, ebreji 5; 1 Peter 1:2-5).

Through the resurrection from the dead, God showed His Majesty and power, and that every power and principality is under His feet.

No power is greater and mightier than the power and might of God. Visā Bībelē, God’s power is revealed

God’s power is a victorious power that doesn’t accept defeat

God’s power is a victorious power that doesn’t compromise and doesn’t accept defeat. It’s a power that works by faith and obedience, but turns against unbelief and disobedience.

God’s power rewards people: He blesses the righteous and good, but punishes the sinner and evil (grēks), as is written in the Bible and revealed through His Word.

Visos trijos evaņģēlija atklāšanas laikmetos, the power of God is revealed through the Father, Dēls (dzīvais Vārds), un Svētais Gars.

God’s power is revealed in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the salvation of man

God showed and still shows that no power is greater than His power. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead showed that no power is greater than God’s power. Even death and hell, that have a right to fallen man, were not strong enough to keep the victory over the body of Christ.

Velns, who had the power over death, and hell lost their authority to Jesus, Who was greater and mightier than they through God’s power.

Tā kā viens cilvēks grēks ienāca pasaulē un nāvi grēks romieši 5:12-13

Un tā tas joprojām ir. Jo, from the resurrection of Jesus Christ, where the empty tomb and the many appearances of Jesus after His death were proof, the death and hell lost their right to many souls, who by faith and regeneration in Jesus Christ, Dieva Dēls, were born again and obey Him.

The souls that lived under the authority of the devil in darkness and were bound to death and hell through the sinful flesh were delivered by Jesus Christ, , kā arī Mūžīgās pestīšanas autors, and saved from the judgment and wrath of God that shall come over His adversaries. (a.o. Jesaja 59; 61:13; Efeziešiem 2; 2 Timotejs 2:25-26; ebreji 5:9; 10:26-32; 12:1-2).

That is the power of the new birth in Christ!

From the moment of the new birth, the soul is no longer controlled by the death and hell, but the redeemed and sanctified soul (ar Jēzus asinīm) shall come under the authority of God and be controlled by the Word and the Holy Spirit, Who abides in the jauna radīšana. (a.o. John 14:17; 15:1-10; Romieši 8:10-17; 2 korintieši 5:14-21; Efeziešiem 5:18; Filipiešiem 3:9; 1 John 2-3).

What does this mean for you?

You were death to God, your spirit was under the authority of the devil, and you lived in the bondage of death and hell.

The death reigned in your life, death flowed through your veins, un rezultātā, you lived in rebellion towards God and bore the fruit of death, kas ir grēks.

Sin proved that the devil, who had the power over death, was your master.

You were bound to death from the day you were born and believed the lies of his master, velns, whereby you lived in nepaklausība Dievam.

Until you heard the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the light of the gospel enlightened your mind and revealed your evil nature and fallen state, and you repented of your sins and iniquities.

You believed and repented

You repented of your walk in darkness and of all your unbelief, trespasses, and disobedience to God and decided to turn your life around and believe Jesus Christ and follow Him.

That was your answer to the Aicinājums nožēlot grēkus and the gift of salvation through the message of the living gospel.

That was your promise to God: a separation from the world through the death of the sinful flesh and the putting away of the works of the flesh and through the resurrection of the spirit from the dead, enter into a covenant with God through His Son Jesus Christ, that is sealed with His blood, and receive the promise of the Holy Spirit.

You were baptized into the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ

And so you believed and were baptized into Christ, into His death and resurrection from the dead, whereby your flesh died and your spirit was raised from the dead, and you were delivered from the power of the devil, grēks un nāve (a.o. Romieši 6; Galatiešiem 3:26-29; Kolosieši 1:12-14; Filipiešiem 3:9-10).

No tā brīža, velns, grēks, and death lost their right and power over your life. You were delivered and set free by the power of God.

Hell lost again a soul to Jesus, Who poured out His own soul into death, to release the prisoners of death and hell.

Kristū, you were made righteous by His blood, whereby you could receive the other Comforter, Svētais Gars, Whom the world can’t receive, only those who broke their covenant with death and their agreement with hell through the blood of Jesus Christ and are born of God and belong to Him and obey Him.

The Holy Spirit shall always be with you and abide in you.

Tagad, ja mēs esam miruši kopā ar Kristu, mēs ticam, ka arī dzīvosim kopā ar Viņu: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; nāve vairs nevaldīs pār Viņu.

You received the baptism with the Holy Spirit

And so you received the baptism with the Holy Spirit, which proved that you were born of God, cleansed and made holy and righteous and belonged to the Almighty God.

No longer did the death reign in your life and flow through your veins, but the life did.

You were raised in newness of life and the life of God flows through your veins.

Tāpēc, you shall no longer serve sin through the flesh but righteousness through the spirit that is redeemed from hell and raised from the dead by the power of God.

That almighty power, which is the greatest power on earth, manifested in God’s Son and in all God’s sons (gan vīrieši, gan sievietes) that are born again in God’s Son and are His witnesses and obey Him.

God’s power left an empty tomb and plunders hell

God’s power left an empty tomb and plunders hell, where souls are bound to death.

During life on earth, people are bound by the devil, death and hell or bound by Christ, who has the keys of death and hell, and the Kingdom of Heaven.

Bible verse 1-peter 1-3-blessed be the God and father of our lord Jesus Christ which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us unto a living hope by the resurrection of jesus christ from the dead

Jesus Christ is the way to eternal life!

Only through Jesus Christ can people be saved from the judgment of God and delivered from the power of the devil and darkness.

Tāpēc, ticēt, nožēlot, and be baptized into His death and become a partaker of His resurrection through the resurrection of the spirit from the dead.

Let God break you free from the chains of death and hell and the grēka un nāves likums that reigns in the sinful flesh.

Arise by the power of God and awake to righteousness and walk in obedience to God.

Arise and walk away from the tomb and never return.
