Eins og fjallað var um í fyrri bloggfærslu, Ríki Guðs er eilíft og orð Guðs er gert að eilífu. Enginn og ekkert getur breytt því. Enginn stendur fyrir ofan Guð, ekki einu sinni Fallen Angel Lucifer. Satan getur ráðist á orðið og stolið og eyðilagt orð Guðs í gegnum lygar sínar, Samt getur hann ekki breytt neinu um sannleika orðs Guðs og vilja hans. Orð Guðs er sannleikurinn og þess vegna er orðið áreiðanlegt. Þeir, sem treysta Guði og orð hans mun ekki skammast sín og vonsvikinn, þvert á móti. Hvert orð Guðs, sem er skrifað í Biblíunni er komið að og kemur enn að. Orðið er sannleikurinn og það býr yfir lífinu. Orð Guðs færir frelsun til þeirra, sem trúa á orðið og hlýða orðinu, og gerðu það sem orðið segir. Við skulum skoða hvernig orð Guðs færir frelsun.
Guð hafnaði með óhlýðni við orð hans
Í gamla sáttmálanum, sem fæddir voru af niðjum Jakobs (Ísrael) og með náttúrulegri fæðingu tilheyrði fólki Guðs, oft færði illt á sig vegna þeirra óhlýðni við Guð og orð hans og vond verk þeirra.
Vegna uppreisnar þeirra og óhlýðni við Guð, Guð skilaði þeim í hendur heiðna þjóða og þær voru teknar í útlegð af heiðingjunum og bjuggu í ánauð (Lestu líka: Ógæfan sem fólkið færir sig á sig).
Þrátt fyrir að fólkið væri ábyrgt fyrir fráhvarfi sínu, það gerðist margoft, að konungarnir (Höfðingjar) fólksins vék frá Lög Móse og vinstri Leið Guðs Með því að hafna orðum Guðs og ráfa frá Guði og leiða fólkið villti og trúlofuðu þeim í fráhvarfi sínu og vondum verkum þeirra.

Through their disobedience to God and His Word and their deeds, þeir báru ógæfu yfir sig. God was not responsible for that, but they were responsible (a.o. Dómarar 2:14, 3, 6:1, 13:1, 2 Kings 13:3, 17:20).
God brought deliverance through His Word

God appointed judges and kings and spoke through the mouths of His prophets to His people and made the way of deliverance known to them.
Through His Word and the obedience of the people to His Word, God delivered His people from the oppression and power of the pagan nations.
This wasn’t a one-time event, but this happened several times.
There were kings, who feared God and obeyed His Word and walked in His ways and did right in the eyes of the Lord and there were kings, who didn’t fear God and didn’t obey His Word and left His Word and His ways and did those things which were evil in the eyes of the Lord.
But God’s hand was never too short to deliver His people if they truly regret their sins and iniquities and repented of their evil way.
Sjá, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity (Jesaja 59:1-4).
Jesús; the Word proclaimed the acceptable year of the Lord
Jesús; orðið, came to the earth to preach the acceptable year of the Lord and not to judge mankind, because His time to judge on the Day of Judgment had not come yet.

Jesus was sent to the people of God to give them the opportunity to be delivered from the power of darkness and the dominion of death by making the Kingdom of God known to them and kalla þá til iðrunar and the putting away of sin and to believe, obey and do the words of God and to finish the perfect work of redemption for mankind through His redemptive vinna við krossinn.

Jesus fulfilled the law of God on earth

Jesus delivered them and commanded them to sin no more, but instead obey the words of God. Hence they wouldn’t come under the authority of the devil through sin and bow to the devil through obedience to his words and his will and make the devil lord of their lives and give him access and the ability to reign in their lives.
God sent His Word and made them whole

God gave the Gentiles also the ability to be delivered from the power of the devil by faith in Jesus Christ and through regeneration and be transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God (Kólossubúar 1:12-14).

Jesús; the Word still brings deliverance

The hand of God is still not too short to deliver. His Word still possesses the same power of God unto salvation to everyone, sem trúir. But you have to believe first.
Just like the carnal people of God in the Old Covenant had to believe and trust in His words first and act according to His words.
Although we live in new covenant; a better covenant that is not sealed with the blood of animals but with the blood of Jesus; orðið, God has not changed. This means that His Word and His will have not changed.
Through faith and regeneration in Christ, we live in a better covenant, in which mankind no longer lives in bondage through his flesh under the power of darkness and sin and death, but lives in bondage through his spirit that is raised from the dead under the power of God and His light and life through Christ Jesus.
Jesus the Word is the Truth and He still brings deliverance to those, who live under the power and authority of the kingdom of darkness and are looking for deliverance.
The Way of deliverance
Many people are looking for deliverance, but are often looking in the wrong places and enter occult ways. But there is only one Way of deliverance and that is through Jesus Christ; hið lifandi orð, and by His blood.
Jesus Christ alone is the Way, Sannleikurinn, og lífið (John 14:6 (Lestu líka: Is there only one way to salvation?)).
Only by faith in Jesus Christ; hið lifandi orð, og blóð hans, and through regeneration people can be delivered from the power of darkness, by laying down the flesh in which the power of darkness rules and by the resurrection of the spirit from the death, be transferred into the Kingdom of God and be reconciled with God (Kólossubúar 1:14-16).
As long as you walk after the Spirit in obedience to Jesus Christ; the Word and live according to the Word, after your repentance and after being born again, you will stay delivered and live in freedom from Him; orðið, og ríki Guðs.
