Tahukah Anda bahwa Tuhan punya rencana untuk hidup Anda? Sebelum kamu lahir, kamu sudah dikenal oleh Tuhan. Dia tahu persis apa rencana-Nya bagi hidup Anda. Tuhan punya rencana untuk hidup setiap orang. Ambil contoh Musa. Sebelum Musa lahir, Tuhan sudah punya rencana untuk hidupnya. Tuhan menginginkan Musa dan merupakan kehendak Tuhan agar Musa tetap hidup. Karena itu, Tangan perlindungan Tuhan ada pada Musa’ hidup. Tuhan telah memilih dan menunjuk Musa untuk melepaskan umat-Nya dari belenggu Firaun dan perbudakan. Meskipun jumlah penduduk Israel banyak, tidak ada seorang pun dari seluruh orang Israel, siapa yang dapat dipakai Tuhan untuk tugas khusus itu, yang sudah Dia pikirkan, yaitu, penebusan umat-Nya.
Bagaimana kisah kelahiran Musa?
Bangsa Israel telah beranak cucu dan perkasa di Mesir dan Firaun takut terhadap rakyatnya. Oleh karena itu Firaun menjadikan mereka sebagai budak. Namun Firaun semakin menyengsarakan bani Israel, semakin banyak mereka berkembang biak dan bertumbuh. Firaun memerintahkan para bidan untuk membunuh semua pria Ibrani. Namun, bidan-bidan itu lebih takut kepada Allah daripada Firaun dan tidak menaati perintah Firaun. Kemudian Firaun memerintahkan rakyatnya untuk membunuh setiap anak laki-lakinya, siapa yang lahir, dengan membuangnya ke sungai. Hanya anak perempuannya, yang dilahirkan dibiarkan tetap hidup.
Ketika Musa lahir, ibunya mengkhawatirkan Musa’ hidup. Di dunia alami, tampaknya mustahil untuk menjaga Musa tetap hidup. Karena setiap laki-laki Ibrani, yang lahir pada saat itu, terbunuh.
Ibu Musa menyembunyikan Musa selama tiga bulan. Tapi setelah tiga bulan, dia tidak bisa menyembunyikannya lagi.
Dan seterusnya, Musa’ Ibu mengambil untuk Musa sebuah tabut rumput gajah dan memulasnya dengan lendir dan ter, dan memasukkan Musa ke dalamnya. Kemudian dia meletakkan tabut itu di atas benderanya di tepi sungai.
Adik Musa tinggal di tepi sungai, untuk mengawasi bahtera itu dan melihat apa yang terjadi.
Kemudian datanglah putri Firaun ke sungai untuk mandi. Ketika dia melihat tabut itu, dia memerintahkan pembantunya untuk mengambilnya. Dia membuka tabut itu dan melihat anak laki-laki Ibrani itu menangis. Putri Firaun merasa kasihan padanya.
Adik perempuan Musa menemui putri Firaun dan menyarankan untuk memberinya perawat bagi wanita Ibrani tersebut, untuk merawat anak itu untuknya.
Putri Firaun menyetujuinya dan saudara perempuan Musa memanggil ibunya. Putri Firaun memintanya untuk menyusui anak itu dan dia akan membayar upahnya. And so it happened that Moses stayed alive and his mother took him and nursed him.
The mother of Moses had to let her son go
But the mother couldn’t keep her son Moses, but she had to let her son Moses go, due to God’s plan for his life. When Moses grew, she went to Pharaoh’s daughter and gave Moses to her. And so Moses became the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. She called him Moses because she drew him out of the water.
Moses killed an Egyptian
Satu hari, when Moses was grown, he went to watch his brothers and looked at their burdens. Moses spied an Egyptian, smiting a Hebrew man. When Moses saw what happened, he looked one way, and then the other way, and when Moses was absolutely sure that no one was watching, Moses slew the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
When Moses went out on the second day, two Hebrew men strove together. Moses asked the one, who was wronged, why he smote his fellow man. The man answered Moses, who had made him a prince and judged over them. Then he asked Moses if he was going to kill him, just like he killed the Egyptian.
Moses fled for Pharaoh
When Moses heard, that they knew he had killed the Egyptian, Moses became fearful. When Pharaoh heard what Moses did, he sought Moses to kill him. But Moses fled for Pharaoh and dwelled in the land of Midian and sat down at a well.
Moses at the well
There Moses was, a fugitive, sitting at a well in the land of Midian. Moses wanted to help the people of God, who were his brothers. But his brothers didn’t consider him their brother. They didn’t see, that the only thing Moses wanted to do, was protecting them and helping them by killing the Egyptian. But the children of Israel saw Moses as the son of Pharaoh, who stood far away from them.
And there he was, sitting at this well, without housing, without his riches, and probably without food.
Moses didn’t belong anywhere. Moses didn’t belong to his people; bangsa Israel, but he also didn’t belong to Pharaoh and the Egyptians anymore.
God had a plan for Moses his life
But Moses didn’t know, that God’s eye was upon him and that God already had a plan for Moses his life. Moses was led by God to the wilderness for a specific purpose. God had led Moses to the land of Midian and He had led him to that specific well.
Moses thought he was alone and that no one looked at him, but that was not true. Because God’s eye was upon him.
Dan itu terjadi, that at the well, God looked at him and provided for him. Because the daughters of the priest of Midian came to that same well, where Moses was, to get water to fill their troughs and water their father’s flock.
When the shepherds came, they tried to drive the daughters away, but Moses stood up and helped the daughters and watered their flock.
When the seven daughters went back, they told their father what happened. Their father commanded them to get Moses and to invite him for supper.
Moses came to the house of the priest and the priest gave Moses his daughter Zipporah.
God provided in the wilderness
God provided in the wilderness, sementara itu, Moses was being prepared for that great work. It wasn’t a coincidence that Moses was led to the house of the priest. It wasn’t a coincidence that Moses herded the flock of his father-in-law. Nothing was a coincidence! It was all part of God’s plan.
Moses wasn’t appointed as the ‘deliverer’ and leader of God’s people from the palace. TIDAK, Moses had to be taught and prepared in the stillness of the wilderness. Just like his forefather Joseph, who was prepared in prison, in the stillness, for God’s plan for his life to lead a nation and to provide for God’s people during the time of famine.
Moses learned, how to herd and lead the flock. God taught Moses between the sheep. Because God wanted Moses to lead His people out of Egypt, out of slavery, and bring them into the promised land. And so Moses was being prepared between the sheep.
God revealed Himself to Moses
Sekarang Musa memelihara kawanan domba Yitro, mertuanya, imam Midian: dan dia memimpin kawanan domba itu ke bagian belakang gurun, dan datang ke gunung Tuhan, bahkan ke Horeb. Dan malaikat Tuhan menampakkan diri kepadanya dalam nyala api yang muncul dari tengah-tengah semak belukar (Keluaran 3:1-2)
When God saw, that Moses was ready, He revealed Himself to Moses in the burning bush.
Moses didn’t see himself as a capable man to lead the people of God out of Egypt. But God considered Moses a capable man.
God knew Moses’ jantung. God knew that he wouldn’t have to do it in his own power but in the power of God.
The only thing Moses had to do, was to submit to God and obey His words. Because only in a yielded life and in the weakness of man, the power of God can work to the fullest.
But Moses told Him that he couldn’t speak. Out of love for Moses, God appointed Aaron to be by his side. Moses would represent God and Aaron did the talk.

Tuhan memiliki rencana untuk hidup Anda
Terkadang Anda bisa memasuki suatu periode dalam hidup Anda, dimana hidup dan masa depanmu terbalik dan kamu tidak melihat jalan keluar lagi. Anda dapat memasuki masa belantara dalam hidup Anda, dimana sepertinya Tuhan telah meninggalkanmu dan kamu merasa sendirian. Ini mungkin saat di mana Anda tidak tahu apa yang harus dilakukan atau bagaimana melanjutkannya.
Mungkin akan tiba saatnya dalam hidup Anda, ketika hidupmu terhenti. Sama seperti Musa, yang tidak tahu apa yang harus dilakukan dan bagaimana melanjutkannya. Tapi untungnya, Tuhan tahu!
Dan itu sama untuk hidup Anda. Anda mungkin tidak tahu bagaimana melanjutkan atau melakukan apa, tapi Tuhan tahu.
Satu-satunya hal yang harus Anda lakukan dalam hal ini adalah berserah diri kepada Tuhan dan percaya kepada-Nya dan tetap berada pada Kesejahteraan Hidup; Yesus Kristus.
God gives you an expected end
Karena aku tahu pikiran-pikiran yang kupikirkan terhadapmu, firman Tuhan, pemikiran perdamaian, dan bukan karena kejahatan, untuk memberi Anda hasil yang diharapkan (Yeremia 29:11)
When you have committed your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, there will always be an expected end. That is the promise that God has given to you. God doesn’t lie, but God speaks the truth! You only have to believe God, submit to God and trust His Word.
Even if it seems that God has left you, God hasn’t left. God would never leave you! Unless you leave Him (Baca juga: Staying in the hand of God hand).
As long as you stay faithful to God, God will not leave you. Because God has promised that He will never leave you. But you have to believe His words.
For He has said: I will never leave you, juga tidak meninggalkanmu (Ibrani 13:5)
When you experience a wilderness period in your life, the most important thing is, apa yang kamu lakukan.
Do you complain, menangis, grumble, berbisik, merengek, have pity parties, dll.? Or do you thank the Lord? Because you know that God has a plan for your life.
You know that this is all part of God’s plan and that you have to go through the wilderness so that you will be prepared for the work He has for you? Only you are capable of doing that specific task. Tidak ada orang lain, who can do that. Tuhan menginginkanmu! And the only way to get you ready is through the wilderness, where there are no distractions.
Being tempted in the wilderness
The authenticity of your faith will be tested in the wilderness, just like Moses, Joseph, Pekerjaan, Yohanes, Yesus, dll.. They were all taught, prepared and tested in the wilderness (periode).
God knows what is inside of you. Even if you don’t know it yourself. He knows that in your weakness, His greatness shall be revealed.
Namun itu semua tergantung pada apakah Anda mampu menyerahkan diri Anda kepada-Nya dan memberikan Dia kendali penuh atas hidup Anda. Apakah Anda sepenuhnya percaya kepada-Nya? Karena hanya jika Anda sepenuhnya percaya kepada Tuhan, kamu bisa menyerahkan hidupmu kepada-Nya, dan berikan Dia kendali atas hidup Anda. Agar dalam keadaan apa pun kamu mendapat kedamaian. Karena kamu tahu Dia bersamamu, Dia menjagamu, melindungimu, memandu Anda, dan mengajarimu serta menafkahimu.
Apa yang kamu lakukan di hutan belantara?
Apa kegiatanmu, ketika Anda memasuki masa hutan belantara dalam hidup Anda? Pertama-tama, berhenti mengeluh dan merengek! Karena itu adalah kekejian bagi Tuhan. Semakin banyak Anda merengek dan mengeluh, semakin dalam kamu tenggelam dalam kesedihanmu dan kamu tidak akan pernah sampai pada tempat itu, di mana Tuhan ingin Anda berada dan tidak pernah mencapai takdir Anda.
Apa yang harus Anda lakukan adalah memberi makan roh Anda, bukan daging Anda:
- Ambil Alkitab, spend time in the Word of God, dan mempelajari Firman
- Listen to Him
- Pray and cepat
- Speak in new tongues (to build yourself up and to become spiritually strong)
- Be thankful and give thanks to the Lord
- Bring every negative thought; every thought that brings agitation and anxiety in your mind, into captivity of Jesus Christ; Firman
- Speak and repeat the prophecies, which are spoken over your life, secara teratur
Di hutan belantara, God prepares you and makes you ready through His Word and Holy Spirit. He prepares you for the work He has for you.
Thank God for the time, you may spend with Him. Appreciate this precious time, because it will never come back again. Bangunlah dirimu dalam imanmu yang paling suci, so that God’s plan for your life shall be fulfilled and God the Father and Jesus Christ be glorified.
