Աստվածաշնչում Մատթեոսում 24:29, Հիսուսն ասում է, that immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Ինչ է սա նշանակում? The spiritual darkness in the spirit realm shall become visible in the natural realm and shall cause that the elements and the powers of the heavens be shaken.
The darkness shall reign on earth
Այդ օրերի նեղությունից անմիջապես հետո արևը կխավարի, և լուսինն իր լույսը չի տա, և աստղերը կընկնեն երկնքից, եւ երկնքի զօրութիւնները պիտի սասանուին (Մեթյու 24:29)
Immediately after the tribulation, due to all the violence and evil (the sins and iniquities) and the increase of apostasy, the earth shall be covered in (հոգեվոր) խավարը. The darkness shall reign for a period of time and shall become visible in the natural realm.
The light will not be present anymore, but due to sins and iniquitites of the people, death and sign reign on earth and darkness will dominate the earth.
Երբ խավարը տիրում է երկրի վրա, այս չար ուժերի դրսեւորումները, իշխանությունները, տիրապետություններ և այլն. կդառնա ավելի վատ և կհայտնվի բնական ոլորտում. Բնական աղետների աճ է լինելու, մահացու հիվանդություններ, համաճարակներ, աղքատությունը, և այլն:
Այս ամենը լինելու է ժողովրդի արդյունքը, ովքեր ապրում են մեղքի մեջ Աստծո Խոսքի դեմ ապստամբելով. Նրանք ավերածություններ կառաջացնեն մարդկանց կյանքում և այս երկրի վրա (Կարդացեք նաև: ‘Չարագործ մարդիկ իրենց վրա բերում են‘ և ‘Չարիքը, որը կգա«).
Տիրոջ սարսափելի օրը

Երկիրը պիտի ցնցվի նրանց առաջ; երկինքները պիտի դողան: արևն ու լուսինը մութ կլինեն, և աստղերը կվերացնեն իրենց փայլը: And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? (Ջոել 2:10-11)

They all saw and spoke about the great terrible Day of the Lord էունքnd who could abide it?
The distress of nations
Before that terrible Day of the Lord, there shall be distress of nations. People shall flee, but they won’t feel save anywhere, because terrible things shall take place on the earth. The heavens shall be shaken; no place will be save for them. There will be such primal forces going on, that no man will be able to stop these.
The people shall curse God for everything that will take place. The effect of these natural disasters on man is written in Luke 21:
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Man’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken (Ղուկաս 21:25,26)
The Day of the Lord
Պետրոս, full of the Holy Ghost, also preached about the Day of the Lord and described it exactly the way Jesus and the prophets did:

When Jesus revealed Himself to John on Patmos, Jesus showed John, what would take place in the last days.
Jesus showed John, what the Day of the Lord would look like. He showed him, what signs will take place before that day, ես. the darkening of the sun:
The stars of heaven fell unto the earth, ինչպես թզենին է իր անժամանակ թուզը թափում, երբ նա ցնցվում է հզոր քամուց. When did the darkness also came over the earth?
There was another moment, which is mentioned in the Bible, when the darkness came over the earth and the sun was darkened. It was the moment, that Jesus took all sins and iniquities of mankind upon Him and died on the cross:
It was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, նա ասաց, Հայրիկ, into thy hands I command my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost (Ղուկաս 23:44-46)
When Jesus took ALL sins and iniquities upon Him, sin dominated and the earth was covered in darkness.
The earth was covered with darkness, the sun was darkened, all the light was gone, because the devil, դևեր, իշխանությունները, dominions and powers dominated the earth at that moment. But it was not for long.

The separation between God and man came to an end, by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.
His blood that was shed, had reconciled man back to God. Այո՛, the veil, that separated God from mankind was torn in the holy of holiest in the temple.
The time of the Old Covenant, the old Levitical priesthood was gone and the time of the New Covenant had come through Jesus Christ, the High Priest and King. By His blood that was shed for you and me, Jesus reconciled man back to God and restored the position of fallen mankind (Կարդացեք նաև: ‘Ո՞րն է Մելքիսեդեկի կարգը?«, ‘Հիսուսի խաղաղությունը վերականգնվեց ընկած մարդու եւ Աստծո միջեւ‘ և ‘Հիսուսը վերականգնեց ընկած մարդու դիրքը’).
The judgment of the earth
The earth shall be cursed, որովհետև այն պղծված է բնակիչների տակ, որովհետև նրանք խախտել են օրենքները, փոխեց արարողությունը, կոտրել է հավիտենական ուխտը. Ուստի անեծքը կուլ տվեց երկիրը, եւ նրանք, ովքեր բնակվում են այնտեղ, ամայություն են, Հետեւաբար այրվում են երկրի բնակիչները, և քիչ մարդ է մնացել (Եսայիա 24:5-6)

The sins shall increase and shall reach the heaven and God shall remember her iniquities.
For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities (Հայտնություն 18:5)
When Jesus returns, the earth shall be filled with darkness
When Jesus returns, the earth shall be filled with darkness. Այո՛, the sins shall banish all the light; the sun shall be darkened, the moon shall not shine, the stars shall fall out of heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Terrible natural disasters will take place upon the earth. When we see this happening, we know that the Day of the Lord is near.
