Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flatters with her words (Példabeszédek 7:4-5)
The Word is there, to keep you from the snares of the devil; the seductions of the world, and the many carnal temptations that come your way. When the Word abides in your heart, and you obey the Word, then you will keep and protect yourself from the stranger. That’s why it’s important to spend time with Jesus and study the Word. Read the Word in the Holy Spirit, so that you shall understand what you read.
Csak egy új alkotás, who is born of the spirit of God is able to understand the Word of God. The Word of God is a spiritual Book, and that’s why the Bible can only be understood in the Spirit.
Bölcsesség és megértés
Hallgass az Igére, és maradj engedelmes és hűséges az Igéhez, és ne térj el tőle. Fogadd el az Igét, és kezelje a tőle kapott bölcsességet, mint egy nővér. A megértőt hívja rokonának. Maradj hűséges ehhez a bölcsességhez és megértéshez, és gondoskodj róla, hogy veled maradjanak.
Amikor ezeket a dolgokat csinálod, minthogy távol tartanak az idegen nőtől (a világ). Ne engedj a kísértéseinek, és ne vezessen félre szavai hízelgő. De maradj hű az Igéhez, és járj tovább az igazság útján, ami örök élethez vezet.
