Ki sa solèy la fènwa epi lalin lan p'ap ba li limyè vle di??

Nan Bib la nan Matye 24:29, Jezi di, that immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Kisa sa vle di? The spiritual darkness in the spirit realm shall become visible in the natural realm and shall cause that the elements and the powers of the heavens be shaken.

The darkness shall reign on earth

Touswit apre tribilasyon jou sa yo, solèy la pral fè nwa, epi lalin lan p'ap ba li limyè, epi zetwal yo pral tonbe sot nan syèl la, epi pouvwa syèl la pral souke (Matye 24:29)

Immediately after the tribulation, due to all the violence and evil (the sins and iniquities) and the increase of apostasy, the earth shall be covered in (espirityèl) fènwa. The darkness shall reign for a period of time and shall become visible in the natural realm.

The light will not be present anymore, but due to sins and iniquitites of the people, death and sign reign on earth and darkness will dominate the earth.

When the darkness dominates the earth, the manifestations of these evil powers, prensès, dominions etc. will become worse and shall manifest in the natural realm. There shall be an increase of natural disasters, deathly diseases, epidemi, poverty, elatriye.

All this will be the result of the people, who live in rebellion against the Word of God in sin. They will cause destructions in the lives of man and on this earth (Li tou: ‘Mechanste moun yo pote sou tèt yo‘ epi ‘Sa ki mal ki pral vini an').

The terrible Day of the Lord

The Holy Spirit is the Author of the Bible. Se poutèt sa, when Jesus spoke about His return and about the end of times, He spoke repeatedly, about what was aforementioned by the prophets in the Old Testament. For example, Ezayi, Ezekyèl, Joel and Amos spoke prophetically about the end of times and the Day of the Lord:

Wè, the day of the LORD cometh, mechan ak kòlè ak kòlè feròs, pou mete peyi a tounen yon dezè: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: Solèy la pral fènwa lè li soti, epi lalin lan p'ap fè limyè li klere (Ezayi 13:9-10)

Tè a pral tranble devan yo; syèl la pral tranble: solèy la ak lalin lan pral fè nwa, ak zetwal yo pral retire klere yo: And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? (Joel 2:10-11)

Solèy la pral tounen fènwa, ak lalin nan san, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come (Joel 2:31)

The sun and the moon shall be darkened, ak zetwal yo pral retire klere yo (Joel 3:15)

They all saw and spoke about the great terrible Day of the Lord and who could abide it?

The distress of nations

Before that terrible Day of the Lord, there shall be distress of nations. People shall flee, but they won’t feel save anywhere, because terrible things shall take place on the earth. The heavens shall be shaken; no place will be save for them. There will be such primal forces going on, that no man will be able to stop these.

The people shall curse God for everything that will take place. The effect of these natural disasters on man is written in Luke 21:

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Man’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken (Lik 21:25,26)

The Day of the Lord

Pyè, full of the Holy Ghost, also preached about the Day of the Lord and described it exactly the way Jesus and the prophets did:

Solèy la pral tounen fènwa, ak lalin nan san, anvan gran jou Senyè a rive: Epi sa pral rive, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Zak 2:20,21)

When Jesus revealed Himself to John on Patmos, Jesus showed John, what would take place in the last days.
Jesus showed John, what the Day of the Lord would look like. He showed him, what signs will take place before that day, i.e. the darkening of the sun:

The stars of heaven fell unto the earth, Menm jan yon pye fig frans jete fig frans li, Lè yon van gwo souke l'. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.Ak wa latè yo, and the great man, and the rich man, ak kòmandan an chèf yo, and the mighty man, ak tout esklav, ak tout moun ki lib, yo kache nan twou yo ak nan wòch yo nan mòn yo; and said to the mountains and rocks, Tonbe sou nou, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, ak kòlè ti Mouton an: For the great day of his wrath is come; epi ki moun ki ka kanpe? (Revelasyon 6:13-17)

When did the darkness also came over the earth?

There was another moment, which is mentioned in the Bible, when the darkness came over the earth and the sun was darkened. It was the moment, that Jesus took all sins and iniquities of mankind upon Him and died on the cross:

It was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, Li te di, Papa, into thy hands I command my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost (Lik 23:44-46)

Jezi gate prensip ak pouvwa

When Jesus took ALL sins and iniquities upon Him, sin dominated and the earth was covered in darkness.

The earth was covered with darkness, the sun was darkened, all the light was gone, because the devil, move lespri yo, prensès, dominions and powers dominated the earth at that moment. But it was not for long.

He spoiled principalities and powers, Li te fè yon kokenn nan yo ouvètman, triyonf sou yo nan li (Kolosyen 2:15)

The separation between God and man came to an end, by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

His blood that was shed, had reconciled man back to God. Wi, the veil, that separated God from mankind was torn in the holy of holiest in the temple.

The time of the Old Covenant, the old Levitical priesthood was gone and the time of the New Covenant had come through Jesus Christ, the High Priest and King. By His blood that was shed for you and me, Jesus reconciled man back to God and restored the position of fallen mankind (Li tou: ‘Ki lòd melkisèk?', ‘Lapè Jezi te retabli ant moun ki te tonbe ak Bondye.‘ epi ‘Jezi te retabli pozisyon moun ki te tonbe a’).

The judgment of the earth

The earth shall be cursed, because it is defiled under the inhabitants because they have transgressed the laws, chanje òdonans lan, te kraze kontra etènèl la. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, e moun ki rete ladan l yo ap dezè, therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few man left (Ezayi 24:5-6)

When we look at the judgment of the earth, God speaks about the many iniquities and sins that dominate. Man has brought judgment on the earth by themselves. Ki jan? Because they don’t live holy lives and don’t walk in the commandments of Jesus Christ; Pawòl la, ankò. Instead they walk after their flesh in sin, fulfilling their lusts and desires. Therefore the earth is defiled.

Walking after the flesh instead of walking after the Spirit

Anpil moun, enkli kwayan yo, don’t walk according to the commandments of God and Jesus Christ anymore. But they walk according to their own will, Lusts ak dezi. They are carnal and walk after the flesh, doing what they want, Santi, and what pleases them.

They are led by their own opinions, panse, and experiences instead of being led by God’s opinions, commandments and thoughts. By violating the laws of God and by changing the ordinances, many have left the everlasting covenant in Jesus Christ.

The sins shall increase and shall reach the heaven and God shall remember her iniquities.

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities (Revelasyon 18:5)

Lè Jezi tounen, the earth shall be filled with darkness

Lè Jezi tounen, the earth shall be filled with darkness. Wi, the sins shall banish all the light; the sun shall be darkened, the moon shall not shine, the stars shall fall out of heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Terrible natural disasters will take place upon the earth. When we see this happening, we know that the Day of the Lord is near.
