The Bible says that the words of God are the truth. The words of the Lord are spirit and life and are both water and fire. The word of God is a lamp and a light and is quick, pwisan, ak pi file pase nenpòt nepe de bò, and delivers, geri, and gives life to everyone, ki kwè. The whole creation is created by the Word of God and testifies of God. The words of the Lord cause sinners to repent and turn from their wicked ways. Moun sa yo, who have found the Word have found the Way, verite a ak lavi a. To them the words of God are precious, since they are the truth and contain the knowledge, wisdom and life of God. They listen to the words of God and believe and obey them. They that love God’s words love Jesus and the Father and keep His words and commandments in their heart and do them, so that they stay in Him. They obey His words and follow after righteousness because they love righteousness and hate sin and iniquity, just as their Lord and Father of Whom they are born. The words of the Father will be in the mouths and hearts of His sons (sa a aplike a tou de gason ak fi) pou tout tan.

The Bible is the Word of God, but what does the Bible say about the words of God? Below are some of the many Scriptures about the words of God.

Pawòl Bondye yo se verite a

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of Thy righteous judgments endures for ever (Sòm 119:160)

Thou art near, O Seyè; and all Thy commandments are truth (Sòm 119:151).

Paske pawòl Granmèt la dwat; e tout zèv li yo fèt an verite (Sòm 33:4).

Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy law is the truth (Sòm 119:142)

Ak pou yo mwen sanktifye tèt mwen, ke yo menm tou yo ta ka sanktifye nan verite a (Jan 17:17-19)

The words of God are knowledge, bon konprann ak konpreyansyon

For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. Li mete bon konprann pou moun ki jis yo: He is a buckler to them that walk uprightly (Pwovèb 2:6-7)

The worlds are framed by the word of God

Pawòl Seyè a te fè syèl la; ak tout lame yo ak souf nan bouch li (Sòm 33:6)

Atravè lafwa nou konprann ke mond yo te ankadre pa pawòl Bondye a, Konsa, bagay yo wè yo pa fèt ak bagay ki parèt yo (Ebre 11:3 (Li tou: Èske Bondye te kreye syèl la ak tè a nan sis jou??))

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: Men, syèl la ak tè a, ki kounye a, pa menm pawòl la yo kenbe nan magazen, rezève pou dife pou jou jijman ak perdisyon moun mechan yo (2 Pyè 3:5-7)

Pawòl Bondye yo se lespri ak lavi

Pitit mwen, attend to My words; Panche zòrèy ou sou pawòl mwen yo. Pa kite yo vire do bay je ou; Kenbe yo nan mitan kè ou. Paske yo se lavi pou moun ki jwenn yo, ak sante pou tout kò yo (Pwovèb 4:20-21)

And I will walk at liberty: for I seek Thy precepts (Sòm 119:45)

Jezi reponn li, di, Li ekri, Nonm sa a pa dwe viv ak pen sèlman, men pa chak pawòl Bondye (Lik 4:4)

Se Lespri a ki bay lavi; kò a pa sèvi anyen: Mo ke mwen pale pou ou, Yo se lespri, Epi yo se lavi (Jan 6:63)

The words of God are quick and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword

The words of God are righteousness

My tongue shall speak of Thy word: for all Thy commandments are righteousness (Sòm 119:172)

The words of God are a lamp and a light

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep Thy righteous judgments (Sòm 119:105-106)

The entrance of Thy words give light; it gives understanding unto the simple (Sòm 119:130)

The words of God are like fire

Pawòl mwen an pa tankou yon dife? (Jeremi 23:29)

The words of God are like water

Koulye a, nou pwòp grasa pawòl mwen te di nou an. Rete nan mwen, e mwen nan ou (Jan 15:3)

Mari, renmen madanm ou, menm jan Kris la te renmen Legliz la tou, epi li bay tèt li pou li; Pou l te ka sanktifye l epi pirifye l ak lave dlo nan pawòl la, Pou l te ka prezante l yon Legliz glwa, pa gen plas, oswa rid, oswa nenpòt bagay konsa; men li ta dwe sen epi san ankenn enfimite (Efezyen yo 5:25-27 Li tou: Dlo lave Pawòl la))

The words of God are pure and keeps the way of the believer pure

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times (Sòm 12:6)

Kòm pou Bondye, Fason li pafè; pawòl Granmèt la te teste: He is a buckler to all them that trust in Him (2 Samyèl 22:31, Sòm 18:30)

Ki jan yon jenn gason pral netwaye chemen li? By taking heed thereto according to Thy word (Sòm 119:9)

I have refrained (restrained) my feet from every evil way, that I might keep Thy word. I have not departed from Thy judgments: for Thou hast taught me. How sweet are Thy words unto my taste! Wi, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through Thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way (Sòm 119:101-104)

Thy word is very pure: therefore Thy servant loves it (Sòm 119:140)

The words of God turn sinners from their wicked ways (if the sinner wants to)

The words of God deliver and save

Li voye pawòl li, li geri yo, epi li delivre yo anba destriksyon yo (Sòm 107:20 (Li tou: What does it mean God send His Word and healed them?))

Let Thy mercies come also unto me, O Seyè, even Thy salvation, according to Thy word (Sòm 119:41)

Tounen ou nan reprimann mwen an: gade, Mwen pral vide Lespri mwen an ba nou, M ap fè nou konnen pawòl mwen yo (Pwovèb 1:23)

An verite, an verite, Mwen di nou, Moun ki koute pawòl mwen an, epi li kwè nan moun ki voye m nan, gen lavi ki p'ap janm fini an, epi yo p ap vin nan kondanasyon; men li pase soti nan lanmò nan lavi (Jan 5:24 (Li tou: Pawòl Bondye a pote delivrans).

The words of God comfort and quicken

Remember the word unto Thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me (given me live (Sòm 119:49-50)

Sòf si lalwa ou a te fè plezi mwen, Lè sa a, mwen ta dwe peri nan afliksyon mwen an. Mwen p'ap janm bliye lòd ou yo: for with them Thou has quickened me (given me life (Sòm 119:92-93)

What will happen to those, who don’t believe the words of God?

Jezi kriye epi li di, Li ki kwè sou mwen, believes not on Me, men sou Sila a ki voye m '. Epi moun ki wè m, li wè moun ki voye m nan. Mwen vin yon limyè nan mond lan, that whosoever believes on Me should not abide in darkness.

Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not Thy statutes (Sòm 119:155)

Paske, tankou sentiwon an kole nan ren yon moun, Se konsa, mwen fè tout moun pèp Izrayèl yo ak tout moun Jida yo kole avè m', Seyè a di; pou yo ta ka tounen yon pèp pou mwen, ak pou yon non, ak pou yon lwanj, ak pou yon glwa: men yo pa vle tande (Jeremi 13:10-11 (Li tou: Pawòl Bondye a pote divizyon))

What will happen to those, who are ashamed of the words of God?

Kidonk, nenpòt moun ki va wont pou mwen ak pou pawòl mwen yo nan jenerasyon adiltè ak peche sa a; Moun Bondye voye nan lachè a pral wont pou li tou, lè li vini nan tout bèl pouvwa Papa l la ansanm ak zanj ki sen yo (Mak 8:38, Lik 9:26 (Li tou: Jezi pa t wont))

The sons of God listen to the words of God

Hearken to Me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the Rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged (Ezayi 51:1)

Koute mwen, My people; and give ear unto Me, O My nation: for a law shall proceed from Me, and I will make My judgment to rest for a light of the people. My righteousness is near; My salvation is gone forth, and Mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon Me and on Mine arm shall they trust (Ezayi 51:4-5)

The sons of God believe and trust in the words of God

So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproaches me: for I trust in Thy word (Sòm 119:42)

Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believe Thy commandments (Sòm 119:66)

The words of God abides in His sons

I have written unto you, papa yo, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one (1 Jan 2:14)

Si nou rete nan mwen, e pawòl mwen yo rete nan ou, N'a mande sa nou vle, epi sa va fèt pou nou. Se isit la fè lwanj Papa m, pou nou donnen anpil; konsa n'a tounen disip mwen (Jan 15:7-8)

The sons of God love the words of God and keep His words

I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways. I will delight myself in Thy statutes: I will not forget Thy word. Deal bountifully with Thy servant, that I may live, and keep Thy word (Sòm 119:16-17 (Li tou: Pitit Bondye yo mache nan verite a nan Pawòl Bondye a))

Mwen kache pawòl ou nan kè mwen, pou m pa fè peche kont ou (Sòm 119:11)

I will delight myself in Thy commandments, which I have loved. My hands also will I lift up unto Thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in Thy statutes (Sòm 119:47-48)

Men ki gen pawòl li nan li se renmen Bondye a pèfeksyone 1 Jan 2:5

Thou art my portion, O Seyè: I have said that I would keep Thy words (Sòm 119:57)

Quicken me after Thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of Thy mouth (Sòm 119:88)

I hate vain thoughts: but Thy law do I love (Sòm 119:113)

Pitit mwen, kenbe pawòl mwen yo, epi mete kòmandman mwen yo avè ou. Kenbe kòmandman mwen yo, epi viv; and My law as the apple of thine eye (Pwovèb 7:1-2 (Li tou: Pawòl Bondye a se yon glas))

Chak pawòl Bondye pi: Li se yon boukliye pou moun ki mete konfyans yo nan li. Add thou not unto His words, pou li pa rale zòrèy ou, epi yo jwenn ou yon mantè (Pwovèb 30:5-6)

And He answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, epi fè li (Lik 8:21)

But He said, Wi pito, benediksyon pou moun ki tande pawòl Bondye a, epi kenbe li (Lik 11:28)

Jezi reponn li, Si yon moun renmen mwen, l'ap kenbe pawòl mwen yo: e Papa m ap renmen l, epi nou pral vin jwenn li, epi fè nou rete avè l.

The sons of God speak the words of God and shall not be ashamed

Blessed art Thou, o Lord: teach me Thy statutes. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of Thy mouth (Sòm 119:12-13)

And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in Thy judgments. So shall I keep Thy law continually for ever and ever (Sòm 119:43-44)

Mwen te kwè, therefore have I spoken (Sòm 116:10)

My tongue shall speak of Thy word: for all Thy commandments are righteousness (Sòm 119:172)

I will speak of Thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed (Sòm 119:46)

Jan 14:10 Mwen nan papa a ak papa a nan mwen pawòl m ap pale avèk nou yo m pa pale de tèt mwen, men papa ki rete nan mwen

As for Me, this is My covenant with them, Seyè a di; My spirit that is upon thee, and My words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, Seyè a di, from henceforth and for ever (Ezayi 59:21)

He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: paske Bondye pa ba li Lespri an mezi (Jan 3:33-34)

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness (Zak 4:31)

And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held (Revelasyon 6:9)

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years (Revelasyon 20:4)

The sons of God delight and rejoice in the words of God

Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of Thy word. I rejoice at Thy word, as one that findeth great spoil (Sòm 119:162-163)

I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches (Sòm 119:14)

Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors (Sòm 119:24)

All the words of God shall come to pass

Pou, as come down doth the shower, And the snow from the heavens, And thither returneth not, But hath watered the earth, And hath caused it to yield, and to spring up, And hath given seed to the sower, and bread to the eater, So is My word that goeth out of My mouth, It turneth not back unto Me empty, But hath done that which I desired, And prosperously effected that [pou] which I sent it (Ezayi 55:10-11)

Therefore say unto them, Men sa Seyè a, Bondye a, di; There shall none of My words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, Seyè a, Bondye a, di (Ezekyèl 12:28)

The words of God stand forever

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of Thy righteous judgments endures for ever (Sòm 119:160)

Concerning Thy testimonies, I have known of old that Thou hast founded them forever (Sòm 119:151)

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matye 24:35 Mak 13:31, Lik 21:33 (Li tou: Pawòl Bondye a etabli pou tout tan))

Lè nou wè nou pirifye nanm nou nan obeyi verite a grasa Lespri a, pou nou jwenn yon lanmou san fe pou frè yo., Se pou nou youn renmen lòt ak yon kè pwòp ak tout kè nou: Lè w fèt ankò, pa nan semans kòripsyon, men nan enkoruptibl, pa pawòl Bondye a, which liveth and abides for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away: But the word of the Lord endures for ever (1 Pyè 1:22-25)

Wè, Mwen vini byen vit: blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this Book

Revelasyon 22:7
