From the beginning of creation and throughout the ages, the devil has tempted and deceived many people with his words and appropriated them with his lies. The devil still uses the same words and still deceives many people and because many people still believe in his words and obey his words and don’t learn from the past, they keep believing in his lies. And so many people have made the lies of the devil their refuge. They are hiding in the refuge of lies and stay hidden for God until the truth of God reaches them and they repent or until the death comes to get them.
Adam believed the lie of the devil and hid himself from God
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard Thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself (उत्पत्ति 3:6-10)
After Adam and Eve listened to the words of the devil and believed and obeyed his words, the spirit of man died and man fell from his position and became sense-ruled and came under the authority of the devil and death.
When God walked in the garden, He couldn’t find Adam. Adam was not in the garden, at the place where he normally would be.
नहीं, Adam had become disobedient to the voice of God and had listened to the voice of the adversary of God, the fallen angel Lucifer aka the devil, and through his obedience to him, Adam had submitted himself to the devil.
Adam had become another man and was no longer spiritual but carnal.
His spirit, wherewith Adam was connected with God, had died and his flesh (आत्मा और शरीर) had taken over and reigned from the fall in his life.
Because of his disobedience to God, Adam was separated from God and became carnal and sense ruled and couldn’t have communion with God. Adam had become naked and therefore Adam hid himself from God. Despite the fact that Adam and Eve made aprons of fig leaves and covered themselves with the aprons, they were still naked.
“Where art thou?”
Obviously God knew what happend and God knew where Adam was and God could have gone to Adam, but God didn’t do that.
God only asked one question, “Where art thou?”
Adam hid himself from God, just like so many people these days hide from God and are hidden in the refuge of lies because they have listened and still listen to the words of the devil and obey him.
They have not believed in the truth, but have believed in the lie and therefore they have rejected the words of God, or they never have heard the truth, and are hidden and remain hidden in the refuge of lies, until the truth comes to them and they repent or until the death comes to get them.
Fallen man hides himself from God
The fallen man lives in the kingdom of darkness in the bondage of death and made lies his refuge and can’t have communion with God and therefore hides not only from God, but also from His sons; those, who are reconciled with God and have become spiritual through regeneration in Jesus Christ and have received the Holy Spirit and walk in the truth and reprove the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment (ये भी पढ़ें: ‘The call to repentance‘ और ‘What is sin?').
The task of the sons of God, who have made the truth their refuge and therefore dwell in the secret place of the Most High, है, to deliver the sons of the devil from the refuge of lies.
Because many people, who are hidden in the refuge of lies, think they walk in the truth, while in reality they are seated in darkness and walk according to their reprobate minds as enemies of God in the lies of the devil; the lies of the world in darkness.
Not only the world thinks to have the truth and walk in the truth, but also many people, who go to church and or lead a church but are not born again and are still carnal and have an unrenewed mind and are led by the flesh, think they have the truth and walk in the truth in the light, while in reality they walk in the lies of the devil in darkness.
इसलिए, the job of the sons of God is to be bold and to not be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ and of His words and commandments and to expose the lies of the devil by preaching the truth of the Word in love, instead of leaving people in the refuge of lies, due to false love, false peace and false unity (ये भी पढ़ें: ‘What kind of peace did Jesus bring on earth?‘ और ‘Do you confess Jesus before men or do you deny Jesus before man?').
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind with the Word of God
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, परमेश्वर की इच्छा (रोमनों 12:2)
In order to expose the lies of the devil, you have to know the Word. Because how else can you expose the lies of the devil with the truth of God, if you don’t know the truth of the Word?
Without the truth of the Word of God, it is impossible to deliver the sons of the devil, who are prisoners of the kingdom of darkness and to deliver them from the power of the devil and sin and death and reconcile them with God the Father through Jesus Christ and by His blood.
इसलिए, it is essential to read and study the Bible daily and renew your mind with the Word of God, so that your mind will line up with the Word and the will of God and you shall have the mind of Christ and be able to cast down and destroy the lies of the devil in your mind and refute the lies of the devil, which are spoken through the mouths of others, with the words and the truth of God.
Deliver people from the refuge of lies
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled (2 कुरिन्थियों 10:3-6)
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do (यहूदी 4:11-13)
Don’t speak your own words, opinions, and findings, but speak the words of God, बिल्कुल यीशु की तरह, who is the Living Word of God and spoke and still speaks the words of His Father.
Because only the Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Don’t walk after the flesh and don’t be a pleaser of people, whereby many people will remain in the refuge of lies and be lost, but walk after the Spirit in the authority of Christ and be a pleaser of God, so that many people will be delivered from the refuge of lies and from the power of darkness and eternal death and be saved and enter God’s rest, and God will be pleased with you.
