Solomon had πάντα a man could wish for. Solomon walked with God, Solomon was king, he had wisdom, η γνώση, πλούτος, κλπ. Εν συντομία, Solomon had a prosperous life. Σολομών had the privilege to build the house for the Lord. Αλλά… somewhere it went wrong and Solomon entered the way to destruction. How did Solomon enter the way to destruction? Where did it go wrong in Solomon’s life? What can we learn from Solomon’s life and how can you prevent from entering the way to destruction?
The first visitation of the Lord
The Lord appeared to Solomon twice. Και τις δύο φορές, the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream. The first time the Lord appeared to Solomon, the Lord asked Solomon what he desired. Solomon answered: “Give therefore Thy servant an understanding heart to judge Thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: γιατί ποιος μπορεί να κρίνει αυτόν τον τόσο σπουδαίο λαό Σου» (1 Βασιλιάδες 3:9)
Αυτό που επιθυμούσε και ζήτησε ο Σολομών, ευχαρίστησε τον Κύριο. Γι' αυτό ο Κύριος έδωσε στον Σολομώντα μια σοφή και κατανοητή καρδιά. Ο Κύριος έδωσε στον Σολομώντα ακόμη περισσότερα από ό,τι ζήτησε. Εκτός από τη σοφία, ο Κύριος έδωσε επίσης στον Σολομώντα πλούτη και τιμή.
Υπήρχε μόνο ένα πράγμα, ότι ο Κύριος διέταξε τον Σολομώντα και ότι έπρεπε να περπατήσει σύμφωνα με τις εντολές Του.
Η δεύτερη επίσκεψη του Κυρίου
Τη δεύτερη φορά, ότι ο Κύριος εμφανίστηκε στον Σολομώντα, ήταν αφότου ο Σολομών είχε τελειώσει την οικοδόμηση του Οίκου του Θεού. Είπε ο Κύριος:
Άκουσα την προσευχή σου και την παράκλησή σου, που έφτιαξες μπροστά Μου: Έχω αγιάσει αυτό το σπίτι, που έχεις χτίσει, να βάλω το Όνομά Μου εκεί για πάντα; και τα μάτια Μου και η καρδιά Μου θα είναι εκεί για πάντα. Και αν θέλεις να περπατήσεις μπροστά Μου, καθώς περπατούσε ο Δαβίδ ο πατέρας σου, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep My statutes and My judgments: then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, ρητό, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.
But if you shall at all turn from following Me, you or your children, and will not keep My commandments and My statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, και προσκυνήστε τους: Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for My Name, will I cast out of My sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people: and at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus unto this land, and to this house?
And they shall answer, Because they forsook the Lord their God, Who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the Lord brought upon them all this evil (1 Βασιλιάδες 9:3-9)
The Lord warned Solomon and showed him the way of the blessing and the way of the curse
The Lord instructed Solomon twice, να περπατήσει στις εντολές Του. He showed Solomon, what would happen if he stayed obedient to God and walked in His commandments and statutes.
As long as Solomon stayed obedient to Him, God would be with him and his kingdom.
But if Solomon would turn away from the Lord, by serving and worshiping other gods, He would cut off Israel from the land, that the Lord had given them.
Solomon was a wise man and he knew, that if he would turn away from the Lord, he would enter the way to destruction (Διαβάστε επίσης: Οι εντολές του Θεού και οι εντολές του Ιησού).
Solomon entered the way to destruction
Στην αρχή, Solomon stayed obedient to God’s Word, until very slowly something came into his life. Solomon was not cautious and was led by his flesh; his emotions and his feelings. His feelings began to rule over the wisdom and understanding of God’s Word (Διαβάστε επίσης: Πάρτε την εξουσία πάνω από τις σκέψεις σας προτού να σας πάρουν εξουσία πάνω σας).
Instead of being led by the commandments and statutes of God’s Word, Solomon was led by his feelings.
The Lord commanded Solomon to walk according to His commandments and statutes. But Solomon did not obey God’s commandment, which says:
Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice; and thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods (Εξοδος πλήθους 34:15-16)
Solomon was regardless concerning this commandment of God. Solomon opened his heart to strange women and allowed παράξενες γυναίκες to capture his heart.
The beauty of all these strange women seduced Solomon and Solomon began to love these strange women. Because of Solomon’s love for strange women and his carnal weakness, Solomon entered the way to destruction. His love for strange women led to idolatry, which led to his destruction.
Solomon’s love for strange women
King Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites; Of the nations concerning which the Lord said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love. And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.
For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father.
For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and went not fully after the Lord, as did David his father.
Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.
And the Lord was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the Lord God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice, And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the Lord commanded.
Wherefore the Lord said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
Εν τούτοις στις μέρες σου δεν θα το κάνω για χάρη του Δαβίδ του πατέρα σου: αλλά θα το σκίσω από το χέρι του γιου σου. Ωστόσο, δεν θα διασπάσω όλο το βασίλειο; αλλά θα δώσει μια φυλή στον γιο σου για χάρη του δούλου μου Δαβίδ, και για χάρη της Ιερουσαλήμ που επέλεξα (1 Βασιλιάδες 11:1-13)
Φαινόταν τόσο αθώο και ακίνδυνο
Αρχικά, φαινόταν αθώο και ακίνδυνο, αλλά όταν ο Σολομών γέρασε, κάτι άλλαξε. Οι γυναίκες του έκαναν την καρδιά του να απομακρυνθεί από τον Θεό, για να υπηρετήσουν άλλους θεούς.
Επειδή ο Σολομών υπάκουσε τις γυναίκες του και έχτισε υψηλούς τόπους για αυτούς τους άλλους θεούς και έκαιγε θυμίαμα και έκανε θυσίες και λάτρευε άλλους θεούς, Η καρδιά του Σολομώντα δεν ήταν πια τέλεια ενώπιον του Κυρίου.
Ο Σολομών άφησε τις εντολές του Κυρίου και έκανε ό,τι ήταν κακό στα μάτια του Κυρίου και του ανυπακοή στον Θεό οδήγησε στην καταστροφή του.
Γιατί ο Κύριος θύμωσε και έκανε ακριβώς, ό,τι είχε προφητεύσει στον Σολομώντα.
Ο Θεός έδωσε τον Λόγο Του για κάποιο λόγο
Ο Θεός έδωσε τις εντολές Του; Ο Λόγος Του, για έναν λόγο. Όχι επειδή ο Θεός θέλει να ελέγχει τους ανθρώπους. Επειδή όμως ο Θεός είναι ο Δημιουργός των ουρανών και της γης και όλων όσων υπάρχουν μέσα. Γνωρίζει το πνευματικό βασίλειο και τους νόμους του, και γνωρίζει ανθρώπους (Διαβάστε επίσης: Είναι η πνευματική φαντασία ή η πραγματική?).
Ο Θεός θέλει να σας κρατήσει από το κακό και να σας εμποδίσει να αιχμαλωτιστείτε από τον διάβολο και να ζήσετε σε πνευματική δουλεία στην αμαρτία και τον θάνατο. Δεν θέλει να συμβεί κάτι κακό στη ζωή σου που θα οδηγήσει στην καταστροφή σου. Ο Θεός δεν θέλει να μπεις στον δρόμο της καταστροφής. Σε αγαπάει και θέλει το καλύτερο για σένα. Γι' αυτό, Έχει δώσει τον Λόγο Του.
Ο Σολομών είχε μια επιλογή
Ο Θεός εμφανίστηκε στον Σολομώντα δύο φορές και τις δύο φορές είχε κάνει γνωστό το θέλημά Του στον Σολομώντα και τον είχε προειδοποιήσει. Ο Σολομών είχε δύο επιλογές, δηλαδή να υπακούτε στον Θεό ή μην υπακούς στον Θεό. Δεν υπήρχε τρόπος στο ενδιάμεσο. Ήταν είτε το ένα είτε το άλλο.
Παρά τις προειδοποιήσεις του Θεού, Ο Σόλομον σκέφτηκε ότι δεν θα είχε σημασία να φύγει εντολή του Θεού και έχουν σχέσεις με παράξενες γυναίκες. Η ομορφιά αυτών των γυναικών είχε σαγηνεύσει την καρδιά του. Αυτό που μπορεί να φαινόταν αθώο και όμορφο δεν ήταν τελικά τόσο αθώο και όμορφο. Όχι, άνοιξε την πόρτα στην καταστροφή, που έγινε ορατή στο τέλος της ζωής του.
Ο Σολομών γνώριζε ότι είχε κάνει το μεγαλύτερο λάθος αφήνοντας τις εντολές του Κυρίου και έγραψε στο Βιβλίο των Παροιμιών για να προειδοποιήσει τους άλλους:
Το στόμα των παράξενων γυναικών είναι ένας βαθύς λάκκος: αυτός που αποστρέφεται τον Κύριο θα πέσει μέσα σε αυτό (Παροιμίες 22:14)
Γι' αυτό να είστε προσεκτικοί. Μείνετε ξύπνιοι και μείνετε πιστοί στον Θεό. Αγαπήστε τον Θεό με όλη σας την καρδιά, μυαλό, ψυχή, και δύναμη, και μείνετε υπάκουοι στον Λόγο Του. Οδηγηθείτε από τον Λόγο του Θεού αντί να οδηγηθείτε από τις αισθήσεις σας, Συναισθήματα, Συναισθήματα, κλπ. Ως αναγεννημένος πιστός, πρέπει να περπατάτε σύμφωνα με το Πνεύμα αντί για τη σάρκα.
Μην αφήνετε τις εντολές Του και μην γίνετε επαναστάτες. Γιατί αν αφήσεις τον Λόγο Του, θα μπεις στον δρόμο που οδηγεί στην καταστροφή.
