Once upon a time, there was a person, who had a little dog. The person loved the little dog very much and never let the dog out of sight. One day a friend came and asked if the person was willing to ‘dog sit’ her dog. The person saw no harm in dog sitting and agreed to watch her dog. A week later, the person took the other dog into her home. But what the person never in a million years expected to happen, happened. In a split second, the dog bit the little dog, and the little dog died. The same phenomenon happens in the church. Many churches have welcomed carnal philosophies and doctrines of man, which are in reality doctrines of devils. They see no harm in these doctrines, while these doctrines of devils are killing the church. What are doctrines of devils according to the Bible?

Many churches are deceived by seducing spirits and have adopted the doctrines and methods of the world and applied them into the church. Instead of relying on God, His Word, and His power, Christians relied on their own carnal knowledge, wisdom, intellect, methods, ability, and power. They think, that by copying the world and applying worldly doctrines and methods, they can turn the church into a prosperous entertainment business that attract many people.
They focus on numbers instead of Jesus Christ and the lives of the people. That’s because the more members they attract and keep, the more money they receive.
The church tries to attract as many people as possible through natural means. They create a nice atmosphere with the right decor, colors, lighting, and music.
They preach motivational feel-good and self-help sermons, whereby they combine the methods of the world with the words of God, to help and motivate Christians to become a better version of themselves and become more successful, prosperous, and wealthy in life.
When a person needs help, then a pastoral care worker will help the person, by using worldly methods, which psychologists and psychiatrists have invented and use to solve the problems of the soul. For example, they go back to the past to search for the root of the problem.
As a religious formality, they pray a short prayer, but they rely on the carnal doctrines and methods of the world. And if these things won’t help, then the pastoral care worker refers the person to a Christian psychologist, doctor, etc..
The church thinks the way the world thinks
There is hardly any difference anymore, between the church and the world. Living together unmarried is no problem, neither is abortion. And if you cheat on your spouse, then you just repent and say a little prayer and you’ll be forgiven. No problem!
Are you tired of your spouse and are you unhappy in your marriage? Well then you just get a divorce, it’s that simple. Because it surely isn’t the will of God that you are unhappy in your marriage.
What? Are you gay? No problem… you can’t help it, you are just born that way; we are all sinners and always remain sinners.
Are you a male and don’t feel like a male but you feel like a woman? No worries, just change your body into a female. After all, God appointed and blessed physicians and surgeons.
It won’t be long before pedophilia will also be approved and accepted in the church. Because they can’t help it either, that they have feelings for children. They are also just born that way.
The Bible warns about seducing spirits and doctrines of devils
The Bible warns the church for seducing spirits and doctrines of devils that cause Christians to depart from the faith. The church should have listened to the warning. Instead, the church has given heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils and speak lies in hypocrisy while their conscience is seared with a hot iron.
Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron (1 Timothy 4:1-2)
Doctrines of devils are allowed in many churches, because many churches have become worldly and carnal and can’t let go of the flesh. Therefore, they have adjusted the Word of God to the carnal lusts and desires of people. So that, people can live like the world and keep sinning and remain the unchanged old carnal man without feeling guilty.
What are doctrines of devils?
A few doctrines of devils are:
- Abortion is ok
- Euthanasia is ok
- Living together unmarried is ok
- Sex before marriage is ok
- Divorce is ok
- Homosexuality is allowed and being gay is ok
- Practicing yoga is ok
- Alternative medicine is ok (reiki, acupuncture, etc.)
- Martial arts is ok
- Rebellion against parents is ok
- Telling a lie or a little white lie is ok
- We always remain sinners
- We live in a broken world and therefore it’s alright to keep sinning
- Once saved always saved
- Focus on your life and the things of this world
- Gather as many treasures on this earth as possible
- God’s Word is outdated and must be adjusted to this age
- Science is the truth and is more reliable than God’s Word. Therefore the Bible must be scientifically proven
- Use psychological methods is ok
- There is not only one way to God, but there are more ways to God
- There is no sin, Jesus has gotten rid of the sin problem. Therefore if you are in Christ, you can’t sin
- There is no hell
These are just a few examples of doctrines of devils, which have been embraced and allowed in many churches. These doctrines of devils have disowned the true gospel of Jesus Christ, the cross, the blood, and His resurrection.
The devil has become the head
In many churches the Word; Jesus, is disowned and the world entered. Many local churches don’t belong to Jesus Christ anymore, but they belong to the world and the ruler of the world, the devil.
The devil built his throne and uses many preachers to preach his message. And you know what the worst thing is? Many preachers and church visitors don’t have a clue about what is going on, because they are spiritually blinded and have a lack of God’s knowledge.
They are ignorant about the fact, that instead of God, the devil inspires them and he uses them to pushes his agenda.
Many believers don’t know the Word, because they don’t read and study the Word of God themselves. They rely on the words of their pastor. They think that by going to church, doing charity work and by doing what the preacher tells them to do, they are pleasing God. But the reality is that many churches are seated in darkness. because they preach the doctrines of devils.
Walking in a false love
Because of false love, worldly charity, humanism, and the spirit of tolerance, many churches have allowed and accepted sinful behavior and the doctrines of man. The church has been spiritually bitten to death by the serpent; the devil, just like the little dog was bitten to death by the other dog.
The person saw no danger in allowing the other dog into her home and allowed the dog in the same room as her little dog. But she was wrong! The same phenomenon happens in many churches.
The church should have been spiritually offensive against the spirit(s) of this world and should have taken her position by faith in Jesus Christ; by staying obedient to His Word and by keeping His commandments.
Instead of treading upon serpents and scorpions, the serpents and scorpions have treaded upon the church and have overcome! They have defiled the true gospel of Jesus Christ and made it of no effect.
The fear of the Lord God Almighty is no longer present. The fear of the Lord has been replaced by the fear of the world and the fear of people and their opinion. They are afraid of not being liked and being persecuted and therefore they have compromised.
There are only a few Christians, who resist these doctrines of devils and keep standing on the Word. Because there are only a few believers, who are really born again in the spirit and have a relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Only a few Christians study, know and obey the Word and keep on standing on the Word and walk after the Spirit. They fear God, instead of people, and because of that, they will be persecuted by people.
The church has become powerless
The church has become powerless and is not able to recognize seducing unclean spirits, let alone, cast out these unclean spirits (devils). As a result, they accept these unclean spirits and bow to them.
The church all authority and all power in Jesus Christ, is not able to handle the problems anymore, and therefore the church refers people, who need help, to the world; doctors, psychologists, etc. But many churches don’t know that they refer the sheep to places, where the darkness reigns. Places, where the workers of darkness will eventually destroy them.
Only a few believers stay obedient to the Word of God and keep His commandments. They do what Jesus has commanded them to do and walk after the Word and the Spirit.
These are the people, who are rejected and persecuted by the people around them. Because they will consider them too strict, too rigid, too old fashion, and even too religious.
Sometimes they are even persecuted within the church. But Jesus warned and foretold that this would happen.
Jesus said, that if you follow Him and stay obedient to Him and keep His commandments, you would be persecuted by the world. And because of the fact, that the world is seated in the church, you will be persecuted in the church.
If the world hate you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for My Name’s sake, because they know not Him that sent Me (John 15:18-21)
Let the church return to the Word
Let the church repent of all this worldly human wisdom, knowledge, methods, theories, and heresies, and remove them from the church. Return to the Word of God and preach the true gospel of Jesus Christ, the power of the cross, the blood, and His resurrection, repentance of sin, and sanctification.
Let Christians depend upon God, rely upon Him, and trust in Him and His power. Instead of relying on and trusting upon their own understanding, wisdom, knowledge, ability, and power.
Let us love and fear the Lord and live according to His will; His words and commandments, instead of ours. So that God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ will be exalted and glorified.
