The destructive power of the strange woman

God sent His Word to the earth, so that, everyone, who would believe in His Word be saved from the power of darkness and be given the power to become a son of God (John 1:1-14). Those, who believe in His Word and consider His Word as the truth and therefore obey His Word and do His Word, belong to Him and shall be led by the Word in their lives and inherit eternal life. But those, who leave His Word and seek the things of the world and get entangled with the affairs of this world shall be led by lies and shall spiritually drown. The Word warns about the destructive power of the strange woman and to stay away from her.

The two paths in life

There are two paths in life; the path of God, which is the path of righteousness, and the path of the devil, which is the path of unrighteousness. The path of God is controlled by heaven and the path of the devil is controlled by hell; Hades.

Those, who obey and be doers of the Word; the Life, shall walk on the path of God and inherit eternal life. But those, who reject the Word and obey the words of the devil; the death shall leave the path of God and enter the path of the devil and inherit eternal death.

The strange woman

The Book of Proverbs writes about the strange woman, who operates from hell. The strange woman does everything she can to seduce the righteous people and lead them on her path and take them captive in her house and destroy them. Because that’s the purpose of the strange woman; the world.

The only way to keep yourself from the strange woman is to stay obedient to the words of God and never leave His words.

seek those things which are in ChristWhen wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked; Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths: To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.

For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.

That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous. For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it (Proverbs 2:10-22)

“The lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb”

My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding: That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge. For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.

Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.

Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth. Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel: Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger; And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed, And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me! I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly (Proverbs 5:1-14)

“Lust not after her beauty in your heart”

My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.

For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life (Proverbs 6:20-26)

“Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death”

My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.

love not the worldFor at the window of my house I looked through my casement, And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night: And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house: Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.) So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him, I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.

Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee. I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt. I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves. For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey: He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed. With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.

Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death (Proverbs 7)

My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways. For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrow pit. She also lieth in wait as for a prey, and increaseth the transgressors among men (Proverbs 23:26-28)

Are the things of the world harmless?

The knowledge, wisdom, and things of the world look so harmless and seem like there’s nothing wrong with. Until you give in and find out that you are trapped in a lie. The world seduces you and wants you to get entangled with her.

She uses all kinds of methods, doctrines, and natural means to succeed. She calls and seduces you with her flattering words and wonderful promises. And when you listen to her words and answer and obey her, by obeying her words, she’s got you right where she wants you.

She takes you with her and locks you up in a room and fill the room with water until you drown and the life leaves you. That’s what happens spiritually when you seek the things of this world and get entangled with the affairs of this world.

The strange woman knows what you want

The strange woman knows exactly what your flesh wants. Because she has fed your flesh all those years. Therefore she knows exactly who you are and what you want. She knows your strengths and your weaknesses. As long as you haven’t crucified your flesh and haven’t strengthened your weaknesses, she shall be able to seduce you and you shall give into her temptations.

She knows that you will eventually give in to her temptations. All she has to do is keep knocking, speaking, and begging. Therefore, she won’t stop. Because she knows, that you will eventually succumb and give in.

The destructive power of the strange woman

When you leave the Word and yield to the strange woman, she takes you and binds you to her. She will overtake you and possess you. She will keep you in her power and her fruits; the fruit of death (sin), shall manifest in your flesh (in your life).

The strange woman shall give you what you want, but she shall take from you what she wants. She shall control your mind and body and she shall not let you go.

The strange woman shall reign and control your whole life and you shall listen to her and obey her. She shall lead you and keep you in her kingdom of death until you breathe your last breath on earth and close your eyes and she will have you for eternity.
