A Colossencs 2:11-12 we read about the circumcision in Christ and being buried with Christ in baptism and risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God. But what does buried with Christ in baptism and risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God mean according to the Bible?
The circumcision in Christ
En qui també esteu circumcidats amb la circumcisió feta sense mans, En deixar el cos dels pecats de la carn per la circumcisió de Crist: Enterrat amb ell en el bateig, en què també esteu ressuscitats amb ell a través de la fe de l'operació de Déu, que l'ha criat des dels morts (Colossencs 2:11-12)
The new creation is circumcised in the circumcision of Jesus Christ. This circumcision is not made with hands, a natural circumcision of the foreskin of a male. But this circumcision is a work of the Spirit and takes place by putting off the body of the sinful flesh of males and females. The circumcision in Christ; the putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, takes place by baptism, when the old man (carn) is buried with Christ and becomes a partaker of His death and the new man (humor) has risen from the dead through the faith of the operation of God, who has raised Him from the dead.

Què direm aleshores? Continuarem en el pecat, que la gràcia abundi? Déu prohibeix. Com ho farem, que estan morts pel pecat, viure-hi més temps? No ho sabeu, que tants de nosaltres que vam ser batejats en Jesucrist vam ser batejats en la seva mort? Per tant, som enterrats amb Ell per baptisme a la mort: que com Crist va ressuscitar d'entre els morts per la glòria del Pare, tot i així també hauríem de caminar en la novetat de la vida.
Perquè si hem estat plantats junts a semblança de la seva mort, també serem a semblança de la seva resurrecció: Sabent això, que el nostre vell és crucificat amb Ell, perquè el cos del pecat fos destruït, que d'ara endavant no hem de servir el pecat. Perquè el mort està alliberat del pecat (romans 6:1-7)
Quan vas ser batejat, you were circumcised in the circumcision of Christ and you have buried your old former life.
El vell, who is carnal and sense-ruled and is dominated by the sinful nature, no longer exists.
El vell, l'home carnal, has died in Christ and the new man, l'home espiritual, has been risen in Christ from the dead.

Just like in the Old Covenant the natural circumcision of the foreskin was a sign of the covenant between God, Abraham, i his Seed, al nou pacte, the circumcision by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh through baptism, is a sign of the New Covenant in Christ.
The new man is risen with Christ from the dead
Ara si som morts amb Crist, creiem que també viurem amb Ell: Sabent que Crist ressuscitat d'entre els morts ja no mor; la mort ja no té domini sobre ell. Perquè en això va morir, Va morir al pecat una vegada: però en això viu, He liveth unto God. De la mateixa manera, considereu que vosaltres mateixos sou veritablement morts al pecat, però vius per a Déu per Jesucrist, nostre Senyor.
Per tant, que el pecat no regni en el vostre cos mortal, perquè l'obeïu en els seus desitjos. Tampoc cediu els vostres membres com a instruments d'injustícia al pecat: però entregau-vos a Déu, com els que són vius d'entre els morts, i els vostres membres com a instruments de justícia per a Déu. Perquè el pecat no dominarà sobre vosaltres: perquè no esteu sota la llei, però sota la gràcia.
Què aleshores? pecarem, perquè no estem sota la llei, però sota la gràcia? Déu prohibeix. No ho sabeu, aquell a qui us deixeu servir per obeir, els seus servents sou als quals obeïu; ja sigui del pecat fins a la mort, o d'obediència a la justícia? (romans 6:8-16)
I si Crist estigui en tu, El cos està mort a causa del pecat; Però l’Esperit és la vida a causa de la justícia (romans 8:10)
Perquè si viviu després de la carn, Moriràs: però si a través de l’Esperit mortifiqueu les accions del cos, viuràs. Per a tots els que són guiats per l'Esperit de Déu, Són els fills de Déu (romans 8:13-14)
Jesus Christ has conquered the death! If you have become a new creation in Him, you have been redeemed from the power of sin and death by the putting of the body of the sins of the flesh and you have been given power in Christ to reign over sin and death.
You shall no longer listen to the flesh and be led by the sinful nature of the flesh and fulfill the lusts and desires of the flesh, since the flesh with its sinful nature has died in Christ.
The proof that the flesh has died in Christ
If the flesh with the sinful nature has died in Christ, the flesh shall no longer produce the unrighteous works of the flesh, which are a.o. adulteri, fornicació, divorciar, (sexual) impuresa, efeminació, afecte desmesurat (desig), concupiscència malvada, cobertura, ira, 1, malevolença, blasfèmia, comunicació bruta, mentida, lascivitat, idolatria, bruixeria, odi, variància, emulacions, despullament, sedicions, hereSies, enveja, Robar, assassinats, embriaguesa, revetlles (1 Corintis 6:9- 6, Gàlates 5:19-21, Colossencs 3:5-10).
If you still do the works of the flesh, you are not circumcised in Christ, because the body of the sins of the flesh has not been put off and is not buried in Christ but is still alive.
L’antiga creació, who belongs to the world and lives in the kingdom of darkness, does these unrighteous works. But if you are born again and you are circumcised in the circumcisió de Crist by the putting off the body of sins of the flesh, you shall not do those works anymore, but you shall do righteous works according to the will of God.
You shall listen to the Father and submit yourself to His Word and obey the words of God and apply them into your life, since the Word of God is the truth. You shall walk after the Spirit in the will of God and the Spirit shall reign in your life. Com a resultat, you shall live a holy life unto God and bear the Fruita de l’Esperit.
