Zbog toga su mrzeli znanje, i nije izabrao strah Gospodnji: Oni ne žele ništa od mojih saveta: prezirali su sve moje ukore. Zato će jesti od ploda svog vlastitog puta, i biti ispunjeni vlastitim uređajima. Jer odvraćanje prostih će ih pobiti, a prosperitet budala će ih uništiti (Izreke 1:29-32)
Šta se dešava kada ljudi mrze znanje?
Zašto Gospod ne odgovara i neće se naći, kada dođe uništenje i ljudi, koji Ga nije poznavao, će zazvati Njega? Zašto im On neće odgovoriti? Jer tokom života, mrzeli su Njegovo znanje i Njegovu mudrost. Mrzeli su Reč Gospodnju i nisu se bojali Gospoda. Tokom svog života, nisu hteli poslušati Njegove savjete i prezirali su Njegov ukor.
They wanted to live their own lives without God and doing whatever pleased them. They enjoyed everything that the world had to offer.
You will eat the fruit of your way
When you hate knowledge and turn away from the Lord, and live your own life, instead of listening and obeying Him and fear Him, you will eat the fruit of your own way. You will be filled with your own devices.

A simple, man who has chosen to turn away from God shall be slain. Because he has chosen to listen to the world, and to all the đavolje laži, instead of listening to the Word; Istina.
