The Bible is our compass

Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth (Proverbs 5:7)

The Father advises us strongly, to listen to Him, and that we should not depart from the words of His mouth. His Word; the Bible is our Compass in life. When we need advice, or when we have questions, we should turn to the Bible; the Word of God, because His Word is our compass in life. The Father always gives us the right advice and the right answers to our questions.

We should turn to Him, and not turn to the world and to strangers, who don’t know God. A stranger could be your neighbour, a good friend of yours or an acquaintance, but as long as that person doesn’t walk in the ways of the Lord, and abides in the Word, then that person can never provide you with good advice.
Because good advice comes from the truth and therefore is based upon the Word of God, and not based upon human reasoning, philosophies and what the world says.

When we go to the Father, He shall answer. When He answers us, it is up to us what we are going to do with His answer. Do we listen to Him, and do what He tells us to do, even if we don’t like His answer? Or do we reject His answer, and go our own way?

If a son really loves his father, then he shall take his advice, and follow-up on his advice. When we say, that we love the Father, and we love Jesus, then we shall obey His commandments, and walk in His commandments.
